My family and I was visiting my sister in Oakland last week and car A/C was blowing just hot air during my stay. I am not suprise since it is a 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan with 177K miles on it. I did not want to drive back to OC with my kids in the car in the middle of August so my mechanic can fix it. I took it out to Kragen to have them help me refill the Freon but they could not do it. The manager at Kragen said that there is something wrong with my A/C system. It is pretty full with no leak but would not take the freon charge. He advise me to take it to a mechanic. He suspect that there is problem with the A/C system. I call my trusted Mechanic in Santa Santa and he advise me to do a few things but did not get it to fix. My mechanic said he suspect it may the condenser issue or my whole A/C sysyem. My sister told me about this place to get it checked out. I brough it here early in the morning and the place was fairly busy. The Owner/Mechanic and 1 other technician was working. He greeted me and asked me how may I help you. I told him I was out of town and my A/C is blowing just hot air. I needed to get it fix ASAP. He inspected and told me I need to replace the A/C condenser. He went into detail of how the A/C system work and why I need to replace the condenser and not the whole unit which would have cost me alot more. The price he gave me was very reasonable and I know is because I called I got a quote from my mechanic in O.C. as well. 1 Auto Repair got my car fix in 2 days because he needed to order the part. He did not try to upsale me on anything bit fix what needed to be fix. Wife and kids was happy on the 6 1/2 hour drive home. I would recommend this place to anyone.
