Whenever i stop by for a oil change they go above and beyond to make sure my car has no issues! They already feel like family & during my last visit the boss offered me some mediterranean food while my car was being serviced! Will most likely always come back here.

Ferris is one of a kind. The man was able to put up with me bringing my 2011 VW Jetta in for an oil change and I brought about two quarts of oil including a filter. He informed me that the filter was the incorrect one and just said that he would not charge me for the correct filter which cost more anyway. On top of that, he Only charged me $70 For the remainder of the oil and the labor, which is a complete steal. Also on Christmas day at the end of closing. Ferris is such an awesome individual and I hope to meet him again one day as he did a free diagnostic on my car regarding the “O2” Sensor which triggered a check engine light. In order to get my car smogged, This fix needed to be completed. I was able to come in, and leave all within 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place and don’t hesitate to bring your vehicle here as this is excellent service!

Farris (hope I got his name right) was amazing. I called to ask for a quote to replace four ignition coils and spark plugs, and he immediately gave me a clear breakdown of the part costs (which matched my research), labor, and the total. His honesty and straightforward attitude really stood out compared to the other places I called. I decided to move my car from Pep Boys to 10 Min Oil & General Mechanic. Within minutes, Farris and his team found another issue: an oil leak from the valve cover gasket. They fixed everything in just 3-4 hours for way less than Pep Boys wanted to charge--and they even topped off my oil for free! Farris and his team were honest, efficient, and super helpful. Bottom line: Skip Pep Boys. They'll overcharge you, push unnecessary tests, and waste your time. Bigger companies don't always mean better service. If you're in LA, go to 10 Min Oil & General Mechanic. Farris and his team are the real deal.

I called and asked for the price on full synthetic oil change, they asked for yr make and model, even 6 or 8 cylinder. They said $120, I said okay thank you. Guy said $95 come right now. I went then he said $95 was for synthetic not full. And went on with " I included tax and checked all your fluids" I didn't bother to fight it. I give you one chance and that was it. I won't be going back... This place was convenient and I wouldn't have minded giving more business but thanks, no thanks.

Charged me $85 for synthetic & then claimed I needed full synthetic AFTER looking at my car & asked for another $100 instead of another $15 for to round out the original full synthetic price. They’ll gouge you and see if you notice. They already started the full synthetic work so if I didn’t pay it looked like I was trying to pull a fast one. Looked the guy in the eye paid him in full because I had the money this time. But they knew what they were doing. If they needed the money that bad fine, but it wasn’t worth the trouble. Then they had the nerve to give me a $10 discount for “next time.” Like I would ever come back.

These dudes are the BEST. I was leaving downtown and found out that my skid plate had come loose. Everywhere else was closed, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get home, but I managed to get over to 10 Minute Oil and these folks took care of my car and got me out in under 10 minutes. It was not only the easiest visit to a mechanics, but also the most reassuring. I can't recommend them enough. They went out of their way to get me on the road.

Beware… these guys are out here ripping people right off. Guy told me $145 for an oil change on a 4 cylinder car. When i arrived the price miraculously changed to $195… that is beyond ridiculous… 2 words. Steer awayy

10 minute oil change was such a great experience, they were able to inform me on why my check engine light was on, reset the car so it went off and do an oil change in under 15 minutes all on Memorial Day while being totally busy! I look no further to find a great and reasonably priced oil change :) the owner is incredibly personable and offers a competitive price point with tip top service! Max and his family have been in business at this location for 50 YEARS! we need to keep these historic and wonderful service providers open and flourishing so come support 10 minute oil change and general mechanic so they can continue to be of service during these unsettling times! I truly cannot say anything but that this was the best experience I have ever had in vehicle / auto maintenance. Many thanks to max and the team for making this such a great experience. i was quoted $45 for labor over the phone but when i got to the shop i was being charged $60. i proceed to show them the engine oil i brought , started telling me i had the wrong oil and started giving me attitude. and i been using the same engine oil in every oil change since i got the car. i recommend going to “Hans Auto” down on Harvard and W Pico. way better atmosphere, friendly, and don’t price gouge like these guys

The best generalists in the biz!! I’ve come here to get multiple cars inspected and they’re always very transparent regarding costs as well as considerations if you’re on a limited budget. Faris has been helping me search for affordable parts and cars too… endless value so far in this relationship and I could not recommend them higher.
