To give this company 1 star is beyond generous. Amos along with his brother the owners of this company are among the worst people I have ever done business with. Total lack of responsibility or respect towards my situation and my vehicle. I brought my car to Amos around late January or early February 2023. They took a little over 1 year fixing the collision on my vehicle. The lack of professionalism was eye openning. From ordering the wrong parts, to not knowing what the hell they were doing and ultimately handing me my vehicle all botched up without the seatbelts working, the lane assisting feature without programming, tingling sounds while driving, horrible paint job and Cv axle problems. Amos and and company took my insurance money for almost $25k for them to do BARE MINIMUM AND AN INCOMPLETE NASTY WORK. After I got ahold of my vehicle after him stalling for so long I took it to the dealership to have it inspected just for them to quote me another $20k to fix Amos’s wack job. CONSUMER BEWARE. Do not trust Amos or his brother with more than a change of tires or rims and even with that be advised. Absolutely disgusted by their treatments. Biggest mistake you can do when sending your car to Amos after a collision is having your insurance carrier cut them a check for the whole amount in day one. They will just cash it and push all repair the furthest they can, not complete your collision or cut corners all around. 🤮 👨‍🔧

I was referred to Amos by a friend and I am glad they did. He fixed the bumper on my 2028 Subaru Outback. My Outback looks great! Amos was always kind and respectful. In regards to his prices, I went to multiple places and his prices were reasonable, he did not try to over charge me. Overall, recommend Amos and his team.

First choice is hands down one of the best shop experiences I’ve had here in San Antonio. Amus and his team are very professional and respectful. They diagnosed the issue with my car and got it fixed in a timely manner I would highly recommend them for any of your vehicles repairs or anything you want done to your vehicle they will take care of you with the upmost respect.

Highly recommend 1st choice collision and automotive repair. First time customer here. They had great reviews and I happened to share my unusual first name with the owner, so I thought why the heck not. What will keep me coming back is the great service that Amos and Pat provided. They even offered to drop off my car when I was unable to pick it up. Excellent customer service! Thanks guys!

We were on family trip when our AC compressor went out on explorer. Was referred to them by hotel manager. Great customer service and communication. They were able to locate part and replace compressor the next day. Saved us from 105 degree heat on the 18 hour trip back home.

Amos and his brother are outstanding people and do fantastic work. They fixed the rear bumper on my Altima quickly and courteously and best of all they finished on time. I am really impressed! They will DEFINITELY be my 1st Choice if I need them in the future! May they be blessed always.

Amos is just an all around great guy and I could not be happier with the end result. After being in an accident I surely thought my vehicle was going to totaled out. Amos spent a lot of his own time battling it out with my insurance company and even got me a great price for an upgrade to my bumper that I wanted. Will def be using them again in the future for more grades!!!! Before and after picks!!!

I want to put my review out there for anyone thinking of sending your vehicle here. My family was in an accident 6 months ago we thought it was a good idea sending our vehicle here for repairs and 10,000 in repairs. The car needs a lot of work that the shop said they could take on. After having trouble contacting the shop specifically the owner of this place (Amus), getting the run around and receiving false information on the status of our vehicle we finally removed the vehicle from the shop it took 6 months for them to basically do nothing. Our vehicle is now at a new location and they pointed out about 18 parts on the vehicle that were meant to be replaced and instead were cheaply repaired and even some parts completely missing.The car over all does not start or drive and looks like complete trash. We’re very disappointed in the owners of this place our vehicle looks like it has about 2,000 in “repairs” when they received 10,000.

This was my first time using collision center. And they did an excellent job on my GMC Terrain. I got great service as they explained everything that they had to do to my car and how long it would take. They delivered on everything as promised. I left a Happy customer.

I could not find a shop that would take care of my truck no sooner than 2 weeks out. 1st choice Collison got me taken care of the very next day. Great workmanship. I would never recommend going to this mechanic. completely unprofessional. They had my car for 9 months because they could not tell me anything about it. My head gaskets blew out and Jacob told me it would take 2 weeks to finish, we paid up front and got no updates or any information about it after that. I had to send my mom multiple times, my dad had to come see what they were doing, and they’re answer was always “next week”. After bugging them enough i finally got my car back today. My hatchback is broken, it no longer stays up by itself. The knob to adjust my side mirrors was pulled off and is broken, I came in with a full tank of gas and am left with less than half. they put over 600 miles on my car. and they stole my sound system from the back. there’s already a hole in one of my hoses, and it’s missing screws. UPDATE: I had someone else look at my car and they didn’t do anything to it. They just put it back together instead of putting in any new parts. They said everything was completely brand new and actually nothing was replaced at all! A waste of 1500 and a hassle. I had even asked them before they did any work on it to tell me if it was worth fixing or not and if it wasn’t i was going to purchase a new car. Well they lied and now i have the same car that had the same problems when i took it in October 2020.

I would recomendable this shop to everyone that is in need of good body shop. The work done really exceeded my expectations! They were extremely helpful and knowledge of the insurance system, which made me feel taken care of. They explain everything & educate me on the process. Awesome awesome customer service and work!

My car had been purchased pre damaged but running fine until it wasn't. When I started getting quotes Amos was the only one willing to come see my car in person, everyone else wanted me to drive it to them but that wasn't possible. So Amos & 1st Choice was the one I went with. While repairs took longer than anticipated (about a month longer than they originally thought) and I didn't get many updates without calling (I understood they were busy but would have appreciated more communication), when I did get my car back it was well worth the wait. It's not 100% perfect brand new but it sure looks at and now I have a working ac in my car for the first time since I got it. I used to hate my car but now I love it and can't thank Amos and his team enough!! Pics of before and after.

My car was making a weird noise & as a female who doesn't know about cars I was obviously worried, they were recommended by a family friend and as soon as I walked in they were polite and went over what was possibly wrong and we got it fixed! They even do oil changes so I highly recommend them for all your car needs :)

So helpful and to the point. Excited to work with them....a day later and soooo happy we found a place we trust and can depend on. Changed the fuel pump in a short time frame and now we are back on the road, no issues!!!! Thank you! Will be back again soon to get more work done. We are new to San Antonio but we are proud to say that 1st Choice Collision & repair is our mechanic!!!!

These guys are my go to mechanics for everything! It's a family owned business so they pay attention to details and make sure the job is done right. They have worked on all 3 of my cars/trucks and I've been happy with the way they've all turned out. From a simple oil change to body work, these guys got you covered!

I’ve had all four of my family’s vehicles in for either paint, body work or mechanical service. Two most recently for hail damage and before that my son’s 4Runner for body work and paint. The service has been exceptional and the work done exceeded my expectations. I was always informed of my options with cost estimates before any work was started. I would highly recommend 1st Choice for both body and automotive repair.

After researching to find the best place to fix my truck, I ran across this company. I spoke with Amos and he gave me and my husband the best price for the work to fix my right CV joint and my front bumper. He was fair and straight forward. The time he said they would be finish was on time. I truly appreciate him and his staff for the amazing work and time they put into fixing my truck for me. I shall be returning for any other issues. I was so relieved to find a trust worthy business to work on my car. They fixed an oil pan that another place that completely took advantage of me for over a year. I also took it back for multiple things and every experience was beyond my expectations. Always professional and they even wash my car before I picked it up!! Very professional and affordable thanks guys for always doing an amazing job!!!!
