Do NOT bring your car here. I normally do not leave harsh reviews as I understand everyone has bad days however, this experience has been awful. Shane, the owner, worked on our car only for it to break down with the same issue he fixed. We took our car back to him on January 6th of this year and to date have not heard a single word from him. We stop by his shop different days of the week at different times and never seem to find him. He does not answer our calls and his other shop attendants can seem to give any reason to his behavior. Based on my family’s experience with this place I would NOT recommend you bring your business to Shane.

This guy is shady. They did not have the basic parts for an oil change. He saw my VA plates and came up with stories about rust being all over the bottom. Little did he know, the truck has resided in NM for the duration of its life, so all this talk about rust from salt on the bottom was made up.

I was looking for an honest mechanic near me. Big mistake!! I went in for a brake job. They told me my rack and pinion was leaking and quoted $1000.00 to repair it. I went home and realized that I had the same job done 1 year earlier. I quickly went back and wanted to take it back to the mechanic who had done the work before and they said we already have it started. I hoped for the best. They had it aligned twice because it was pulling to the left. The brakes also shutter when I brake. Then it started to make a clunking noise when I turned the wheel. One of their mechanics said I needed to do my CV boots for $500.00. I decided to take it to my original mechanic and he discovered 2 bolts on the rack and pinion were loose and charged me $50.00 and the problem was solved. Plus it didn't pull to the left anymore. Also he said a rear shock was leaking and only replaced 1 when everyone I spoke to said you never replaced 1, always both! Not to mention he held onto my vehicle over days when he assured me I would have it back the next morning. I was distraught and never got a call back with an explanation. I will never go back there and would warn anyone to not either.

Don’t hesitate to come to 22nd tire and automotive. They’re honest, and wonderful with vehicles. I went to autozone one day to get Freon because my air conditioning system wasn’t working properly and I thought that was all it was. They sent me to this shop to get my air conditioning checked out so that I wouldn’t waste money on Freon if I didn’t need it. I went there and it turned out my entire air compressor was busted. I got to be in the shop with the mechanics the entire time as they inspected my car to figure out the problem. They showed me how the machine worked and what it will look like if my compressor is good or bad. I loved the fact that I got to see, understand, and confirm everything myself. All the mechanics here are kind, helpful, and it’s very easy scheduling appointments! If I could give more stars even I would!

Shane is really kind and honest and not in the business to overcharge women. He assessed the work needed to be done and is straight forward about cost and work. He is experienced, family oriented, super close to my home, easy to talk to, hard working and I’m very glad to have found him! Super local! Support small businesses, these people care and work hard!

The Autozone nearby recommended this place to me. They took my car in the same day i called and had feedback for me within an 1.5 hours. Very professional and helpful. The enterprise next to it makes it a little hard to see. Would 100% recommend and go back for more help.

These guys were great in the beginning but I've lost all faith in them. It took them a month to fix my transmission. I tried contacting them several times to get updates but they never got back to me. I ended up just showing up and asking for my car. I drove off and it broke down 2 days later. They didn't fix the issue. Turns out, someone stole my gas while it was parked in their lot and broke the gas tank entry so when I went to fill it, the nozzle kept stopping, indicating that it was full. It wasn't. I ended up breaking down on my way to work. I brought it back to them and it took another 2 months before I demanded my car back again. They still didn't fix the issue or the damages to my car. I ended up buying a new car but I'm still stuck with paying off the repairs they never made.
