I was visiting family in LA, and had driven from WA. Going through Utah my fuel pump went out, and I had it replaced, but it wasn’t sealed in the tank properly, and fuel would leak from the tank when you topped it off during a fill-up. I was recommended to take my vehicle here, and they were very fast, and affordable. The issue has been fixed and I am back on the road!

Truly the most honest and best car repair around. I found this place about 25 years ago and have used them ever since. I have tried others when I had no other option and was not nearly as satisfied with others work. He is great at diagnosing the real problem and fixing just what it needs. Carol is not a parts changer like so many others out there costing 3 times more money. Highly recommend this business.

Mr Carroll has always run a fair shop with very competitive prices. He is the one mechanic that I trust to always tell me the truth and never take advantage of me. Years ago I had a vehicle that kept having an issue that he wasn’t quite sure how to handle. He put on a new part that didn’t solve the issue and didn’t charge me for it since it didn’t fix my car. You would be hard pressed to find a better mechanic or man to do business with.

This is the best mechanic I have ever been to. I am one who attempts to work on my own car, not only for price but because my experience with other mechanics has been dismal with price and honesty. Everyone at A Car has been extremely polite, honest, and thorough with me any time I've taken my car in for repairs. As a woman, I never feel talked down to or belittled (as I have at several other shops in town) and Carol is very forthcoming in explaining the problems, solutions, and cost needed to get my car in smooth working order. On top of the great customer service, the prices here are incredibly fair. Bottom line: This is the mechanic you want!

Mr. Carroll is the best around. Always fair and honest. They communicate well and make sure you understand what its going to cost. They do the work fast and reliably. I have had the AC in both of my family's vehicles, and we haven't had a problem since. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any car repairs. Just make sure to call ahead because that's what happens when you run a reliable, good mechanics shop, they get BUSY!

A-Car is the best automotive repair shop i have come across in Baton Rouge or anywhere else I have lived. I have brought my vehicles to them many times and every time has been a great experience. Honest and fair prices every time. Mr. Carroll only does the repairs necessary and doesn't do the whole "While we're at it we may need to change parts x, y, and z also" I have sent many friends and family to him and now they only go there because of the same service i received. Thanks Mr. Carroll for being maybe the last honest mechanic around!!!
