I was traveling from Alabama to nc and my car decided to run hot, I pulled over and googled a shop near me,this shop was 6 mins away I called they recommended a tow which was 20 mins away in rush hour traffic,Donovan is a god send very helpful full communication had me running the next day, showed me the broke part and the new on one the car,provided recommended maintenance for future, this guy is sincerely the nicest man,very professional would highly recommend, if I lived in Atl he would be my go to go for any car issues !!!

I am not a customer but chose not to be one due to misleading website content and potentially costly red flag after a conversation with them on the phone. Their website says they do a "thorough diagnosis" for $130. I called and found out that this is not the case, it is far from a thorough diagnosis. I described my issue and was told this would only cover a cooling system diagnosis and that further diagnosis would cost even more. I mentioned that I had already eliminated a cooling system problem but they wanted to start with that and any additional diagnosis would cost more. I repeated that it isn't a cooling system problem and would like to skip to the next diagnosis so they just ended my call, frustrated with me. I took it to a different mechanic who found the problem to be a fuel pump, saving me a $130 "thorough engine diagnosis" fee of only my cooling system plus a additional fee to diagnose my fuel pump issue. I'm not sure if this was an intended scam but buyer beware.

These guys are wonderful. I had some problems with my truck that another mechanic had trouble diagnosing, so on that mechanic's recommendation I took it to A&D. Not only did they fix the problems, but they did it all in a 1 day turnaround. Constant communication, fair price, and really friendly service means I'll be coming back here for service in the future. Very impressed. Edit 9/24: Went back recently to get my front suspension worked on and it's like driving a whole different car. They made sure to show me the parts they replaced and even though it took longer than they thought they didn't change the price. They do great work and I'll keep taking my truck to them, no question.

Donovan and Donovan are amazing! Truly heroes in getting my car running once again! So communicative, so friendly and so thorough! They even showed me inside the car what they had repaired and how to test for and prevent the problem in the future! I know who I’ll be taking my car to whenever I’m in Atlanta!

So thankful to have found A&D Automotive. The most impressive qualities about this company is their communication, transperancy, and desire to take ownership for their work. Mr. Donovan and his son were courteous and helped provide me with assurance to make sure my Impala was properly diagnosed after having it misdiagnosed by another mechanic. A and D automotive is a family owned business with very personalized service. They replaced an engine for me plus they did cooling system work and general maintenance including an oil change. Very professional and always honest. I am so satisfied with the service we received that I am bringing two other vehicles for them to work on. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM MR. DONOVAN!!!! My battery died on me AS I was driving to this mechanic, I had to pull over on a side road not far from them. Donovan was gracious enough to WALK to my car and boost my battery so that I could pull into their lot. He replaced my alternator + belt in less than 24 hours at an extremely fair price point, kindness and good communication the whole way through. He even made a point to get the repairs done by the next morning so I could pick it up before work. Seriously GREAT service and my car is driving better than it has in a year. Thank you so much Mr. Donovan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my 2005 Durango sit up because I could never get a mechanic that knew how to fix it in the last five year I’ve tried five different shops (big name companies)spent thousands of dollars they only fixed it to get my emissions (they took it themselves 🧐)two years it just set up because I couldn’t get an emission last year I drove on the old tag thank God I didn’t get stopped..after researching and reviewing on the internet I found A&D Automotive not to far from my house when I called the was very polite when I got there the outside didn’t look much inviting but the waiting area was clean I explained what was going on left my car he found the problem told me what he was going to do and quoted a ok price after two days I was on the road again don’t have to buy another car for now 🙌🏾 I’m not going to tell you they are the cheapest in the business but their prices are competitive and the work is good and guaranteed Mr.Donavan is a fair business man fix foreign and domestic vehicles.

I’ve truly never had a better experience with a mechanic. Donovan and his son (also Donovan) are extremely nice and go above and beyond for their customers. They’ve got extremely reasonable prices and worked with me to make sure my car was in good shape within my budget. I cannot recommend them enough!

Donovan is an very bless Incredible Master Skill Technician. He took his time and examine my Chevrolet Cruz LT Limited until he found every problem. Once he found the problems he called me and told me.Donovan kept me informed of every detailed. He found problems that the dealers and Firestone did not find or could not fix properly. A&D Automotive is so much better than going to a car dealership. My car not only passed emissions it is running smoothly and amazing. I wasted to much money with Chevrolet & Firestone trying to figure out what was run with my car and having wrong brand parts put on my car that does not work. ***I highly recommend A & D Automotive Inc. Ever since buying my 3rd gen 4runner, I've been coming to Donovan for all of my maintenance and big ticket fixes. He has been extremely patient with me in explaining exactly what the problems are and laying out different options based on severity, cost, and timing. MUST READ !!! My experience was the absolute best Donovan and his son were very informative!! Very helpful being a young lady on the road having vehicle problems is worrying having to constantly give and give to mechanics who aren’t fixing the problem could be very frustrating I came to Donovan frustrated and he took care of every issue I had he put my safey first and for that I will always thank you !! The best mechanic I have been to and I’m never going anywhere else thank you to both Donovan’s again for being so polite and patient and so helpful I really appreciated you guys also I thought I had to spend an excessive amount of money for the issue I had with my car … absolutely not !! WE WERE IN NEED OF ELECTRICAL WORK. OUR CAR WAS BEING SERVICE AT A NEAR BY AUTO SHOP AND THEY COULD NOT DO THE WORK. I WENT SURFING ON THE INTERNET. I FOUND THEM IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD, NO MORE THAN A MILE AWAY. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE VECHICLE AFTER. HE PROVIDED TOW SERVICE AND RESOLVED ANOTHER ISSUE WITH THE VECHICLE. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE HE PROVIDED. THERE AFTER I DIDNT SCREW THE RADIATOR CAP BACK ON TIGHTHLY AND THE CAR STARTING RUNNING HOT. I PULLED OVER, CALLED DONOVAN. HE TOLD ME WHAT TO DO. NEEDLESS TO SAY. HE HELP ME SAVE MY ENGINE FROM BLOWING UP. I HAVE FOUND A MECHANIC THAT CAN DO IT ALL "ESPECIALLY ELECTRICAL" AND A FRIEND FOR LIFE. THANKS DONOVAN AND SON

I have 2 vehicles a work truck and a personal, if you’re like me and the maintenance of your vehicles is a top priority then put your fears to rest. I had a great experience here. Days before the holiday weekend my car broke down and I struggled to find a suitable mechanic. I had already booked a flight out of town so I was in a pinch. Donovan made time for me and my car and communicated with me through the process of repairs. I got a good price for the work he did and he had my car rolling again by the time I was back in town. Courteous and professional, stop by for just about anything car related and Donovan will take care of you.

I had been searching high and low for a good and affordable mechanic. My car had been cutting off on me when I came to complete stops and I had no clue what was wrong with it. I’m a social worker and I absolutely need my car in order to do my job and do home visits to my clients. I was in need of immediate assistance!!! After calling several Mechanics and getting the run around about time to look at my vehicle or work on my vehicle, I finally came across A&D Automotive. The reviews were absolutely amazing! I called, someone answered on the first ring and told me to bring my car in the same day! Donavon was so professional and personable! I had my car back working 72 hours. Donavon broke down what was actually wrong with my car and what I needed to monitor in the near future. The price was extremely affordable as well! And to top it off, Donavon called a few days later just to check and see if it was still running smoothly and to see if I had any other issues. Customer service was through the roof. I’d highly recommend this mechanic shop. Very honest, personable, affordable, and of course professional!

I had them check over a car I wanted to purchase. Only thing they found was that the dreaded cabin filter needed replacing. Turns out, there was no brake fluid, the a/c didn't work and the transmission was shot. I asked them to change the oil and was charged for it but now I wonder. Seriously, how do u not check the fluid levels in an overall inspection and give a thumbs up. They call it a pre-purchase inspection. Cost $99.00. They told me less than I already knew. This is the detailed report I got. Lmao. Don't trust this place.

Mr. Donovan provided excellent description of what needed to be done. It was done very affordably and conscientiously. When I went to pick up my car, he demonstrated the repair to prove his work. I will be going back and highly recommend his services! He is a master technician!!! No run-around or B.S. Mechanics like him are hard to find! What a treasure!!

This business is completely unprofessional. Their shop is a mess and the employees are extremely rude. They don't care how much of your time they waste. Avoid at all cost.
