My experience over all with this company was very unprofessional. The owner told me my repairs were going to be done professionally and that’s why the price for my specific repair was so high . I was lied too . After picking up my car I realized my car was Squeaking and i called the shop back to let them know . They told me to bring my car in Sat. and that one Sat . turned into 3 Sat. back to back . One month later and my car is still Squeaking and i’m still trying to get it fixed by them.

Jim took care of me swiftly and honestly. Rats had chewed my cars engine wires and the shop had my car ready the next morning. Will be coming back if anything comes up again.

I gave this auto shop a chance based on a high recommendation. Dropping off the vehicle was smooth, I called the same day to provide warranty info the person on the phone said they had it. I get a call maybe an hour or two later asking for the warranty info. I was told over the phone I had a timing chain issue. The vehicle did not have the check engine light on when I took it. I was advised my vehicle will take a week it took two. I called Monday they said my care will be ready Tuesday, Tuesday I receive a call that I need valve covers the day I'm suppose to pick up the car. I declined the valve covers it was an additional 300 then spark plugs 120. They said ok your car will be ready Wednesday then Thursday then Friday finally Saturday came Labor day weekend. The car was "ready". Picked up paid test drove check engine light on airbag light on and car sounds worse then when I took it. I called to take it back but had a bad feeling, I will take it where I usually go its an hour drive but worth it. This experience was horrendous. The communication is terrible the way that I was treated was unacceptable. Save your time and money go to the dealership. May pay a bit more but you save yourself the hassle. I tried to support local shop, not worth it.

Took my car in for an oil change they left the oil cap open. They fixed it and try to clean it up not a well done job. I decided to get my brakes done few days later I had to take it back because break was squeaking. The brake housing was loose. Waste of time would never go back.

I Showed up to my appointment with a running vehicle that had a random misfire. After I paid them for the diagnostic, they came into the lobby and told me that my car went into pass-lock anti theft mode and that there was nothing they could do about it because they were closing in 10 minutes, and pushed my car out into the lot and told me that I was on my own.

I have had a difficult time detaching from my truck. Jim has been very friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly an honest and professional mechanic. I've read the negative ratings and not once experienced any of them and I've had service done at this shop numerous times. An honest and professional mechanic is hard to come by nowadays. I totally recommend Chicago A+ Auto Repair shop.

Just picked up my Nissan passenger Van. I had the tires rotated, all the brakes and rotors replaced and an oil change. Service was done quick, shop personnel were friendly and informational and work was completed at a reasonable price. I recommend this place for all your break and oil change services.

One of the few honest places still left, they explain to you the issues in a easy way for a person that does not have knowledge on vehicles to understand, they give you a fair price on parts and labor. Truly a amazing place if you ever need your car fix.

Tried making an appointment to change my brakes. When I stated I had the brakes already he said they don’t accept customer parts right after he said that I said “oh ok… how much would it be in total with your parts then?” And he hung up on me. Rude.

Went in for new back brakes and price they gave me was $399.00 and then 10mns later they tell me that one of my brake pad holders was broken and they charge me $120.00 just for that pad holder and ended paying over 500dlrs. They cheated me out of my money.

I took my truck to them on June 1st for an oxygen sensor and motor in back window wiper and they told me they can do the job in one day turns out they did not do anything and they had my truck for two days I went to go get it and my truck was sitting out in the parking lot open with keys on the inside guys working on other cars not paying attention to the vehicles now my problem is worse I think they owe me some money.

I wish I could give this shop a MINUS ZERO. My son took his car to this place because someone referred him to it. He paid this place almost $500 for the repair and you would think they would stand behind their name “A PIus”. It wasn’t riding well so he took it back for them to look at it. They checked EVERYTHING ELSE but what he requested. On top of that they didn’t honor the warranty either. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE RIP OFF CLOWNS!!!
