These guys were extremely fast, perfectly resolved the issue I was having, and charged a very, very reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend and I will absolutely be going back there in the future. Thank you so much! I left a generous tip and it was still much cheaper than other shops in town I've been to.

Shorty is the best mechanic that I've found in both Tucson and Phoenix, He's Honest and and has reasonable rates. Wouldn't trust my car with anyone else.

I have been going to Shorty for the last 3 or 4 years. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a mechanic. I wholeheartedly agree with all the positive reviews above. He does indeed go above and beyond for his customers and very knowledgeable and takes time to explain and show you what he has done. Very personable and reasonably priced. Someone mentioned that the price he quotes does not change. I have experienced that myself even when it did cost him a little more, he told me if he quoted it, that's what I pay and nothing extra. Again, I highly recommend Shorty.

They charged me 40$ "diagnostic charge" they call it, and they told me my car needed an air conditioning compressor. Big time lie because the car needed an alternator. I did not use my car for a month because I was afraid with the big noise it would break down on me. 2 diagnostics I have had from them (40$ each) One was right and one was wrong. They told me the air conditioning compressor work would cost me $1,000 but luckily, I went for a second opinion and my car was fixed for much more than half the money they wanted to get out of my pockets. I don't recommend them and save yourself the 40$ diagnostic charge they will charge you for nothing.

You really can trust them, they are knowledgeable, communicative with you while the work is being done and the prices are completely fair. And it is very possible to show up with no appointment and have your car fixed the same day.

I had a blow out coming down Stone tonight. I don’t know exactly what I hit but I couldn’t swerve away from it. I pulled over to the closest safe spot I could and it was right in the parking area of this shop. I as I waited for my tow guy I was honestly thinking what are the odds I pulled into a tire shop that’s closed but yet need to tow to Discount Tire. Well as I was waiting for my Lyft to arrive once the tow man got there, Shorty pulls up. He’s like “I was just passing and notice you here in front of my shop so I’m wondering if I might be able to help you.” Told him what happen and he was like “I got this let me make sure I have your tire size.”He came back out with a tire just a little bigger than mine but still workable given the situation. I sent the tow guy off and he called off the Lyft. I was so thankful for Shorty for helping me out. Definitely a Good Samaritan and my hero tonight!!! I’ll be going back to get other things handled with my car!!! Thank you so much!!!

My car started making these horrific noises. I have had my fair share of run ins with dis honest mechanics in the past and had no idea where to take my car. I drive past this shop quite frequently, so I decided to stop in. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID. They got me in the shop within 30 minutes of me calling and took a couple of short hours to fix. They went above and beyond their duty and dropped my 2 year old daughter and I off at home while my car was worked on. They are good at their job and very personable. I am proud to say that I will always be taking my car to them for my repairs! I trust that they will give me their honest opinion and make my experience as wonderful as the first!
