When my wife's transmission went out due to the torque converter on her 2015 Tahoe, A-1 was where we were headed. Eventhough they were some distance from our home, there is no one else I'd go to. They listened to my concerns, when I asked to upgrade the transmission while it was under repair, they listened and delivered. Thank you so much A-1, from the bottom of my heart.

I just wanted to say that Bill & Earls A1 Transmissions is still a Great place to take a auto for repairs or diagnostic. I had 2 transmissions replaced years back with 2 different vehicles and could not be any happier. Today March 30, 2023 I called about a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan my wife and I just purchased from a Used Auto Dealer. The van looks almost new and I was not sure about the transmission the way it shifted. The minivan does have a 6 speed automatic transmission and will shift gears when you accelerate. I thought it felt a little funny and my wife thought it felt fine. This is her 4th Chrysler Minivan in 24 years. Well I called Bill & Earls A1 and spoke to a very nice receptionist and she transferred my call to the service department. I spoke with JR and I explained my situation. He asked how far I lived from their shop. I said about 5 minutes away. He said you can bring it on by now and we can test drive it. So I did go right to Bill & Earl's A1 and was greeted by JR. He could not had been any nicer and took my minivan out for a test drive right away. He was not gone very long and came back to say the transmission feels just fine and he popped the hood to check the transmission fluid and everything looked fine. I just wanted to Thanks JR and the Team at Bill & Earls A1 for still being a great place to go even 30+ years later. Good Customer service is hard to find these days and Bill & Earls A1 and JR are just awesome. I would give 10 Stars if I could and will have to settle for 5 Stars. I was having a problem with my automatic transmission in my 92 Silverado. The truck isn't worth a lot of money, and I was dreading the cost of a rebuilt transmission. JR quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed my transmission at a reasonable cost. Everyone I dealt with at Bill & Earl's was pleasant and professional. I now have a great place to take any transmission work in the Baltimore area. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who may be looking for honest, professional repairs. Thanks!

Was my first time there and they seriously could not have been nicer. I have a 1978 Jeep that had a very bad rattle underneath and I thought it might be the transmission and when I called they told me to bring on up in the morning. I dropped it off around 10am and they called me back around 2pm and said that they looked it over and took it for a test drive and they did not think it was the transmission. I showed back up to pick the Jeep up and they told me there was no charge. Really, really great people.

Thought my daughter's car needed a new transmission. I was so sure I had them order a used transmission before bringing them her car. They said it was just a part in the transmission that needs repalcement, not the entire unit. So many shops would have changed it out instead of being 100% honest. Saved me over a thousand dollars. Top notch service backed with best warranty. Had my transmission rebuilt in my 2000 Sierra. Visited again to have my rear replaced. Jr and the crew made sure everything was great yet again. They were also able to update me on some other safety concerns with my truck that'll also be taken care of. Thank yall very much!
