I have been doing "car stuff" for most of my life and usually do all my own work, even down to timing belts and chains. But I don't own a tire machine so I usually end up at Wheel Works, America's Tire, or Big-O. All of which have left me dissapointed on most of the time. I care about the quality of work and the value recieved, hugely. Getting the little things right really, really matters to me. I wanted to get away from bigbox USA and try a local shop out, so off to A1 I went for a tire rebalance. A1 had to give me bad news that three of my wheels were bent but they balanced them the best they could. I was very disappointed in the news but so it goes, it's not their fault. Funny enough, every other shop said the wheels were fine and I didn't hit anything new. I digress. . . So, I gave them a shot on balancing my racetrack wheels (with track oriented rubber). The three times prior, balanced at big box stores, things vibrated. I was told that it was because they were performance tiers. A1 balanced these things, said they were straight, and sent me on my way. Imagine my surprise when my car rolled along smooth as silk. Felt like an entirely different vehicle. Things were exactly as they said and work was done right the first time. On such as simple and common thing, where three other shops faltered, after multiple attempts... A1 GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! I'm stingy and particular. Yet, they earned my business.

We got a flat tire 2 hours away from home, they gladly put in extra effort to try and repair an almost irreparable tire and provided very fast, friendly, honest service. After service, the manager George very kindly refused to take pay for the service and said he just wanted us to get home safe.

Took both my vehicles in last month for oil change and to be checked out. They were very honest, friendly and did a great job. Have been there before for brakes, water pump change and hoses replaced. My car and truck aren’t new. One 2006 and the other 2012. They run like new.

We have been going to A-1 for years and they are awesome. Last visit my car needed more work than I thought and they asked if they could keep it overnight. I needed to pick it up that day as I had to head out of town so they sent one of their guys to pick up a part vs waiting to have it delivered and got everything done that afternoon. Great service from smart friendly people at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?

Everything is right about A-1 Brake and Tire. They perform all services timely, if not early; it's always right the first time, everything is clearly explained, and their prices are reasonable. George, Kathy, and Joe are always personable, and always accommodating.

Made an appointment for an oil change and smog repair through the online form. The email in response to confirming the appointment was incredibly unprofessional. Once my car had been dropped off for over three hours, I called to check on the status, only to be told it was sitting there waiting for me to come pick up the car. I just had a loose gas cap and they didn’t even change my oil, WHY did it take 3 hours?? I wouldn’t recommend going to this place due to the timing and unprofessional nature of the situation.

The people supporting this business are honest, skilled, and very service oriented. Even on our first visit they made accommodations to fit us into the schedule on short notice and solve our car issue. A-1 costs less than the dealer, and in our opinion delivers better service, honesty, and very skilled mechanics to diagnose and safely make repairs. Thank you!

The staff here is absolutely amazing, and the mechanics are fabulous and extremely competent! In all the many many years I've been going here, have never had any problems with their service/work! Were first recommended to me from a trusted mechanic when I needed an alignment after buying tires elsewhere last year. Decided to try A-1 for tires for another car. They offered multiple choices with great prices. Helpful communication and were able to fit me in and complete work promptly. Love the new tires, will use again

My car had had the check engine light lit for some time due to an emission system issue which I wasn't too concerned with and was planning to have repaired when I had the time. Then, as soon as the weather started to get hot, my coolant temp sensor went out, so my wife traded vehicles with me and did the footwork to find somebody close to home for the repairs. Everybody was booked solid! A-1 like everybody else was booked weeks out, but they looked at the schedule and found a small window just a couple days out where they could squeeze us in! The quote to repair just the coolant sensor was very reasonable, so my wife asked if they had the time would they look at the emission issue too, not really expecting it. When she went to pick my SUV up, they had not only repaired the sensor, but a small vacuum leak (the emission issue) and replaced a bulb that had gone out, without adding any cost to the origional quote! Talk about 5 star service! I would give these guys 10 stars if possible, they've earned my business for life! Thank you A-1 Brake & Tire, y'all are fantastic!

This place is trustworthy! I’m not super knowledgeable about cars and this is a huge thing! A1 clearly care about cars and their customers and value building trust and loyalty over shady upselling. I have brought a car here for a pre purchase inspection and also a second opinion inspection after the dealership tried to tell me I needed $1000+ worth of repairs. The tech at A1 looked over my shocks and tires, clearly explained what to look out for and confirmed my gut feeling that I didn’t need any of those repairs the dealership said I needed. He did this all on the spot without charging me a cent. I’ll be moving my future service and repair business here moving forward. Thanks A1!

Great experience. Took my 370z when I thought I needed brakes. Technician George calls to tell me I actually didn't need brakes, just fluid. That's honesty. And that's why I'm bringing my car back when it actually needs brakes, or anything else! He took the time to explain everything and was great to work with, everyone there is great to work with.
