I stopped by A&A Auto Parts, and although they don’t typically handle tires, the staff went out of their way to patch my tire. They even removed my damaged bolts and fixed the flat, providing exceptional service beyond expectations.

Accommodating and honest. I work a lot and couldn't take time off during the week to get an inspection done on a truck I purchased from another state to register in time. This shop was one of a few that are open on the weekend. They were busy but was able to squeeze me in to get the inspection done. There was an issue with the truck that would cause it to fail the inspection, but they were able to fix it. This shop is a life saver and I avoided late registration penalties!

Am honest family owned business. These guys got both my cars starting, a Chevy HHR and a Ford Escape, both brought in same day. It's never fun dropping hundreds on a car but it's much better when you have an honest guy on the other end doing the work and doing it quickly.

This is my second time getting a service from this repair shop & i love it. Not only do they fix your car, they make sure you understand what they fixed and why it needed to be fixed . Most of all i love how friendly and down to earth they are. I’ll definitely be coming back for all of my cars needs.

I went to get my lug studs replaced today. Moe was very helpful. Everything was smooth and the job got done fast. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs service done on their vehicles. 10/10 service. I will come back for any repair needs in the future. Thanks again guys!

A picture is worth a thousands words. If you enjoy a good read then settle in I have a story to tell 2 parts. I would like everyone to know that A&A Auto Repair and Sales stand behind this work. Charlie the owner/manager looked me in my eyes and said he stands behind this work. My mirror was damaged in the last thunder storm we had back in June. The storm took out my side mirror, broke my rear wiper blade, dented the frame the side mirror sat on and I'm sure they damaged my driver window during this repair. I reached out to A&A to quote me a price because they previously done my brakes for my truck. I'm now questioning if they truly changed the brakes at all. They have proven themselves to be a dishonest company in my eyes. Charlie quoted me a price of around $1,000 to repair my damaged side view mirror and my rear wiper blade if he ordered the parts and installed them. The mirror was more of my concern due to the safety issue while driving so I stated I would want to get that fixed first ASAP. I asked him what he would charge for labor if I purchased the mirror he quote the price of $150. I found a mirror that matched my car and ordered it. When the mirror came in on a Wednesday I immediately brought the part up to A&A Auto to see if the part would work. One of the workers from A&A Auto opened the box, it was determined at that time that the wiring harness was not included in the replacement. I became alarmed because I knew the original wires were damaged and unusable from my first mirror. One of the guys from this stinky business (not being funny, but honest it stinks outside up there) looked and told me that they will be able to work with what was in the car. Who was I to argue with him, he was the mechanic not me. I came back on a Thursday to confirm my appointment on Friday and to double check they will be able to proceed with the parts I brought. If they would have told me lets get the wiring harness to be on the safe side I would have done so because I would rather buss the door open once and get everything taken care of properly at one time. I dropped the car off on Friday with the part and high hopes. Then it all went to hell. I get a call from Charlie the owner telling me he has the door open and the wiring harness would be needed. He stated due to my car being new that that part would be hard to find and he couldn't find it. He tells me that he can put the mirror on as is but when I get the harness that he will have to charge me AGAIN. Mind you its 4:00 PM on Friday when I get this call from the owner, he has my only mood of transportation broken in pieces. I'm stuck, I lose no matter the option. I don't have the wiring to take to him while he has my door open and he can't get it. It's after 4 PM on a Friday. What could I do? Its either let my car sit open all weekend or at least have the some type of mirror. For all my people out there you understand that no harness means nothing electrical is going to my mirror. I have no turn signal, and no ability to operate my mirror orientation from inside my car. I'm been through worse and I was willing to eat that because I should have known to not to listen to them and just get the harness to be on the safe side. I think a respectable business would have told me to wait to get the harness as well so they can do the job right the first time. It gets good you all stick with me. Part 2 coming soon.

Pt 2, switching accounts google doesn't let you post 2 reviews for the same company. Back to the story. I think they saw an opportunity to be able to charge me twice and took it. But I am a big girl and I will take my L there and accept some blame in that. I shouldn't have trusted them. The frame that the mirror sat on was bent, I didn't have a mirror attached to the car so you can openly see the bent frame. The bent frame was not a surprise to anyone with eyes. I mentioned the bent frame Wed and Thur before I drop off my car, I was assured they will be able to fix it. Well people of Kansas City MO. They put the new mirror on that bent frame and said this will do. I never approved of that, I would never approve that. If I took my car to another shop they will assume I did it and not a professional mechanic shop. Before leaving Friday I ask how to fix the frame he said to take it to a body shop to repair. Red flag. If you knew that I needed a body shop to fix the frame why take this job? This job was too big for their capabilities, they just wanted my money. Instead of being honest they would rather take your money and tell you to kick rocks and bring up there cheap price as a way to shut you down. A PRICE THAT THEY GAVE YOU. I go to talk to Charlie (Amir) today to discuss possibility of returning some of my money. The wiring I will eat, the bent frame is on them. If they couldn't bend the frame back then that's what they should have called and said on Friday before throwing my mirror on there. He kept saying he only charged $150 I told him I don't care he is the one that told me that price, I didn't set the price I would have paid whatever he said. I wanted a fixed car. If he undervalued the work and realized he couldn't do it that should fall on him and not me, I paid what quoted me. He told me worked on my car all day, then someone else worked on my car all day but couldn't tell me what time I dropped the car off. It wasn't all day. They got it in the afternoon. He told me that he only charged me for 1 hr of labor instead of 1.5 hrs which I said I didn't care because he gave me a set price. I know you pay for what you get and that price was funny but I was willing to live with it not being perfect. Doesn't matter what I paid I PAID to have my car fixed correctly. This is not okay, this is awful. Charlie then tells me he didn't know the frame was bent (liar) I mentioned it every time I went there in 2 days. What type of mechanic can't see a bent fame with his own eye? Its his job to pay attention to detail. Be very mindful of bringing them your business. They will charge you a low price and tell you to deal with the wonky results. I can't think of one mechanic shop who would be proud of this work. But A&A Auto is. They are good for changing light bulbs, don't allow them to do any serious repairs on your car. I would have paid whatever he said, he said $150 then decided it was too much work for that price. I did my half and paid they did not do their half. How many times do he want me pay for the same job? Apparently 2x. Charlie told me that my request for a $50 dollar refund was denied I thought that was reasonable, the job they did is only worth $100. I'm willing to take a L on the wire. He stood behind this terrible job and didn't look embarrassed at all. Just think if you want someone under your hood who is okay with sending you out the door with a job being this awful. I would find a shade tree mechanic if I were you and avoid this place at all cost. They pretend they are helping others but they are trying to get over on the back end. The cheap comes out expensive. I would have saved my money and took it someplace respectable that provides quality work and got it done correctly the first time. I have a recording of our conversation in case he lies about anything. I tried to resolve this peacefully. I never cussed or yelled while in his business. I am seeking legal options, I believe I have a case, this is causing me more money due to this shabby work.

I called around all morning to find a place that would inspect my car. I just bought it and wanted to get the inspection out of the way. These guys picked up and said come on over. When I arrived, they were helping another customer and from the way they spoke, I could tell they were fair and just wanted to do good work. Their energy was helpful and their service was quick and easy. I’ll definitely be returning for more work!

This is my go-to auto shop in KC. Extremely fair pricing, and the owners try their best to get the job finished same day. Great customer service too. They take you out on the shop floor and show you exactly what’s wrong with the car. Very transparent.

Very nice people. Did a late afternoon inspection for my bike. I know people who have had work done there also. Good results not too pricey.
