Ridiculous. Pulled my car into here one day because of overheating and he stated he didn’t have time that day because I brought it too late. Fine, took it to get a diagnostic. Called A & A back to get a quote for the work. They said $750 for my radiator, cool. I made an appointment for 8:30. Showed up for the appointment at 10 (towing problems), dude at the counter has ZERO recollection of the appt lol he claims I must have spoken to someone else and he couldn’t work on my car. What does it matter who I spoke to? You all work here right?? Is there a stranger sneaking in answering your phone??

Dan is an incredibly kind, helpful, and ETHICAL auto shop mechanic. We were visiting from out of state and had an emergency situation with my 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT's cooling system. A cooling line and sensor replacement later, my van was still overheating. He made time for us immediately (on a Saturday) and made sure everything was working properly. He even took the time to educate us on how different parts affect other parts. After all was said and done, his reassurance was all that was needed, and he asked that we pay what was fair. We can now continue with our family road trip. If ever we are in California and need automotive work, we will come to A&A Auto Repair. We need more businesses such as theirs in the world, but I thank my lucky stars they were here in our time of need!

If it is possible I give 0 star to this auto repair service I took my car to this mechanic shop just for changing transmission fuel they said the axle seal is leaking too when they fixed that tomorrow of the day my abs and traction light got on when I took again to them the wheel in driver side was loose and the damaged the axle I bought the axle and the replaced the light didn’t of they said it is the abs sensor and I drive again the car I saw the transmission fuel was completely leaking on floor I took again the car they said sorry that guy that replace the seal we drop him the again installed the seal and I bought the sensor they installed but the light didn’t get off the check again the said it is bearing problem I bought bearing too and they charged me labor again light got off but after one they it got on again when I go there again they said sorry we can’t do any thing more take any where in all the way I took my car to other work shops and pay again and explain to them the fixed my car and told my if any problem bring it back we don’t charge u again I am very unhappy from A and A auto repair specially from the technician that doesn’t know any thing and they collect the money but not working honestly I hardly recommend all the people that pls don’t take your car in there because they damage ur car and just spend ur money

Horrible experience! The only mechanic there put the wrong air intake on and hooked up the wrong hose to my catalytic converter. He did not know the code and then was rude when my husband tried to show him the correct video about what to do. I will NEVER go back.

I did not have a good experience with this shop. They charged me an excessive amount of money without completing the work that they were supposed to have done. I ended up having to take them to the board to settle the dispute, which I won. This is not the first blemish to this company’s reputation. Beware.

I had a horrible experience at this mechanic shop. They charged me for parts that weren’t even necessary for the repairs needed and my car was never fixed. I had to bring it to another mechanic shop to get the problem fixed.

It was a hot Saturday afternoon, we were in Sacramento for a wedding and the AC stopped working. We only had a few hours and the next day we needed to leave to cross the hot dessert with no AC. But the wonderful people at A&A took us in before closing and fixed our car in time. We had a wonderful time and we enjoyed nice needed AC on our 10+ hour car ride back home. They were efficient, kept us informed, and were customer focused. Highly recommended.

They did good work on my car the first time I went, but the second time I went, which was after Manny left, they did work on my car without my permission. I dropped it off for them to look at so they could give me a quote for the repair, and discuss repair options, but they called me later to say it was done. Then they wanted me to pay them for the work they'd done even though the way they chose to repair it wasn't the option I would have gone with. Had to go to a different shop for the repair I wanted and pay for that on top of the useless one they did.

This auto shop was awesome. I came in and needed my A/C fixed in my car. I came in the afternoon and not only were they able to work on my car and finish the same day, they did it with kindness too. The mechanics and workers are all super cool, very laid back and courteous. They even stayed late to make sure my service was completed, an hour past their closing time. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any auto repairs. Two thumbs up!

Took my 2007 Honda Accord to 2 other shops and both of them told me I needed to replace the positive wire from the car to the battery. I knew this was a simple fix for a mechanic (not for me) and that the part didn't need to be replaced. The guys at A&A Auto confirmed what I was thinking and seeing online, took 10 minutes, got it fixed better than new and told me I didn't need to pay (he just said I had some cash a tip paid to the guys int he shop would be appreciated). The owner just asked me to remember them I have issues with the car in the future and I totally will!

Took my truck for a clutch job and it went out in less than 6 months. They also "changed" my fuel pump which they over charged me by $200! Which I don't think they even changed because the sensor that indicates your fuel level never got fixed and it's inside the pump so it should have been fixed.

I'm pretty new to Sacramento, and chose this shop simply because it's down the street from my house. I'm glad I did. 3 years later, and they are the only shop I use. For both my KIA, and my Ford F-150. Usually done within the same day, next day at the very most. I highly recommend this shop, for all your auto needs. They are professional, budget friendly, and great service!!

My vehicle's gas tank had been drilled into multiple times while I was at work on Watt Ave. I looked for the closest repair shop to where the vehicle was located and I'm very happy A&A was that shop. I fought with the insurance company to get it there and I was informed the replacement gas tank would be very difficult to find, but Manny would do his best to locate one. After a couple of days he called me and let me know they were able to find one. My insurance adjustor took entirely too long to get back with them to get the repair paid for, but Manny understood the issue was not my fault and allowed my vehicle to stay as long as it needed to (they have a 3 day limit on keeping vehicles on site). It took my insurance 5 MONTHS to get the shop paid and Manny was very understanding the whole time. Once I got the car back the battery was dead (not an issue), they jumped the battery and I was able to make it to a store to get a new battery. Installed the new battery and car still wouldn't start. Manny told me to bring the car back up to the shop and they would look at it. Turns out they had to make a new key for the car and after a new key in made the car will only start with the new one. So this issue was operator error. When I asked how much I would owe them for the new inspection, Manny just said a box of donuts would do. I can't recommend these guys enough! Very understanding and professional! I will be going back.

Went to them to have a pre purchase vehicle inspection done on a truck i was looking to buy from a dealer down the road. Paid 150 bucks and left them the truck to see if it was worth buying. They came back with a laundry list of repairs. From the ac needing to be fixed, tires need replacing (which in fairness they do), brakes, shocks they said were leaking, and other miscellaneous repairs. The truck ended up needing none of the recommended repairs but a host of other ones. The truck died on the way home, the transmission slips, and they failed to point out exposed wires, a battery that has no mounting harness to prevent it from sliding, an oil leak from the oil pan and a leak from the transmission pan. Nor did they point out the truck had been in a previous wreck and was repainted. I am not mechanically inclined at all and took it to them to have a “pro” look at it for me to make a more informed decision. Instead they handed me the classic laundry list of repairs dishonest mechanics are known for. And they didn’t put so much as a single mile on the odometer. So now im fixing a truck on my own dime when i took it to them for a professional eye to look it over and see if it was worth buying or not. What a waste of time and money.
