The team at AAA Paradise Valley Auto Repair Center provided outstanding service when my battery failed. I had purchased the battery from them two years ago, and when my car wouldn't start, they honored their warranty without any hassle. They replaced the battery completely free of charge while I waited. It's refreshing to work with an auto repair shop that stands behind their products and provides such efficient, no-questions-asked service. Highly recommend!

A very big thank you AAA Paradise Valley Auto Repair Center for repairing our family car and taking care of us “out-of-towners”. Our family is from San Diego and on Friday August 23, 2024 we were traveling through Phoenix en route to Flagstaff to take a daughter to college. During our time in Phoenix, our minivan broke down (low battery indicator on instrument cluster). AAA road side assistance was helpful in identifying the alternator as the likely source of trouble as the battery appeared to be fine. AAA roadside service referred us to AAA Paradise Valley Auto Repair Center, where I spoke with store manager Jose Benavides. Jose was great, he understood our frustration with a car issue away from home and assured us that while his shop was busy he certainly wouldn’t turn us away. With some basic information about the car, over the phone Jose was able to work up a preliminary estimate that was fair, and by the time we had the car dropped off for service that day, Jose knew what parts would likely be needed and was confident the car would be ready the next day. We then continued to Flagstaff that same day, using other transportation. On Saturday I received a call that the car was ready. Jose stated that the technician confirmed it was the alternator that was failing and that the cost was under the initial estimate. I was able to pay over the phone for the repair and then made arrangements to pickup the car first thing on Monday morning since we were still in Flagstaff and the shop was closed on Sunday. Come Monday morning we arrived shortly after the shop opened and our car was there waiting us as promised. We are thankful for the quick repair of the car and were very happy that there were no further incidents with the car during our journey across the southern Arizona desert back to San Diego. I have been a AAA member for 33 years and was greatly pleased with the service from Jose and his team. Thank you!

I am a single mother with an autistic teenager and when my car decided not to work for me on this day, AAA came in to work with me even harder to get my car back up and running and covered under the warranty so grateful 🙏 so thankful because times are harder and harder on families and we need more of the community coming together to make this place easier for us who have to bear the heat. I'm so thankful for AAA STAFF and for all their hard workers. Make me so proud to be a member.

I started bringing my low-mileage 2013 vehicle here about a year ago. Decided to invest in assorted repairs to hopefully keep it going for a few more years. Have been very happy with the customer service and quality of work. Checked out all their recommendations with my retired mechanic Dad. Honest and professional front office and skilled auto technicians. My car is running like new again and the AC is blowing cold once again, even in 115 degrees. Thank you!!

90 dollars for replacing cabin air filter. Ridiculous. Inspection photographs indicated that my car was in need of "repairs" to the tune of 3000 dollars, if not more. This was my first and will be my last non emergency visit to an AAA repair shop in Phoenix.

Had to have a new thermostat and washer sprayers put on my car. AAA was available to do the work right away, and had it finished in one day. I think they were pricey, as they "had" to do 2 separate diagnostic tests to "pinpoint the problems", but it needed to be done, so I let them. They were very nice, friendly, and even paid for a Lyft ride to get home.

Having recently relocated to Phoenix, we have been looking for a new shop. AAA PV team took care of getting me home and back to the shop during the repair, did the work in a timely manner, and for less than the quote I had in hand from another shop in the area. Staff were all professional and friendly. I will be back for maintenance and repairs. Thank you AAA TEAM!

I had my brakes replaced here a while back and they started to be a problem. I took the car in and AAA diagnosed and repaired the problem under warranty. Super grateful for their help. These guys always do a great job. I have been going here for many years, multiple vehicles. Highly recommend. THANK YOU!!

Well run organization. They work on older OBD1 cars as well. Shop is spotless - more than I can say about others I evaluated. Transparent in their charges and explained the bill thoroughly. A bit on the pricier side, but maybe in the big picture they are the best value for $. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Brian (my technician) determined my problem quickly and efficiently. I'll be back.

Been with AAA for 9 years. Had to have a new battery replaced. After installation Orlando took my money and split. When I got in my car to run some errands, my dashboard was lit like a Christmas tree. I went to the AAA garage on greenway and 40th street to see if they could reset. The manager came out telling me I didn’t have an appointment. I told him my issue, which he could care less, and without even looking at my dash told me I had to take it to a Honda dealership. There wasn’t anything he could do. Btw I’m in a wheelchair and getting around is difficult. I left and went to my repair shop and they had it resolved in 5 minutes. The AAA manager was a self righteous arrogant human being. Don’t take your cars there. You’ll be sorry.

Car was serviced quickly which was great. When I made the initial appointment, the employee over the phone told me I could get a diagnostic on a squeaking rattling sound yet on the day of the service, it wasn't communicated properly and I was only set up for an oil change. The man who helped me the day of service, Gibson, was fairly rude about explaining why that wasn't possible. He even said something like "I'm not finished talking" when I explained I needed more help understanding the miscommunication. Later when picking up the car he didn't greet me or my partner and we stood in silence for quite some time and rude again when explaining all the things wrong with my car. There was an estimated ticket for almost 7k worth of repairs. Its common for me to experience this at mechanic shops where I'm not being treated with courtesy and respect, especially when being talking to about the way my car works. So far, my continued experience is something like "your mechanic doesn't know what their doing, you're dumb enough to fall for it, let me explain what's actually happening." It gets pretty old. I like AAA and have never had problems with their costumer service before, but this guy was cold (in his silence and lack of a smile) and a jerk in his tone of voice when speaking to me. I shouldn't have to be rich, well dressed, knowledgeable about cars, or a man to get just some kindness and general courtesy, especially when I push back about a problem I experienced with a miscommunication about services. I'm sure Gibson is nice to other people, but I unfortunately didn't get the best side of him today.

They ll charge you more than a dealer. The owner, the fat guy, has a horrible attitude, he had more ego than tummy and that’s a lot. It’s a nice place with a bunch of nice people working there, but the fatty arrogant made it horrible.
