I recently had my car towed here due to my check engine light on. I was given an estimate over the phone and it was explained very well by Patty, who has always been very kind and helpful. They fixed my car (and I feel like it runs better), explained why they did what they did and I felt like they did a great job being thorough.

I recently went in with a screw in my tire. I'd purchased all 4 tires there 2 yrs prior. Inspection of the tires revealed a crack all the way around all 4 tires. Pat at the desk was instrumental in contacting the tire manufacturer on my behalf to research if a recall was made on this model. Ultimately, the were able to facilitate replacement of all 4 tires at the cost of replacement of 1 tire. They took responsibility to go above/beyond to make things right for me. They could have said the tires had some mileage after 2 years. In fact, this is my service vehicle for our family owned Company. All said, I will go no other place to buy and service my tires!!! These folks stand behind the work and service that they provide with honesty, integrity and value. I will continue to do business with AAA Tires, Bob Summerel in Kenwood, OH. We plan to return time and again! Thank YOU fir your outstanding service👍

Had my oil changed. Within 24 hours, the oil had leaked out of both the air filter and the drain plug because the gaskets were not installed properly. They installed the gasket for the oil filter on upside down and did not take out the old plug gasket before installing the new one. I am very lucky my car did not get seriously damaged. Take your car elsewhere. Edit: the company reached out to me due to my review and told me a member of "senior management" would reach out to me in 48 hours... And they never called.

I went to put air in my tires. While I was struggling with their air machine (it never works), Greg Romine came out and asked if he could help. He told me to pull my car around and he filled the tires and showed me how to turn off the monitor on my Honda. All without me asking! It was very much appreciated. Then he did the same for another woman.

I dropped my vehicle off to have a tire repaired that was leaking air. They told me the tire was unrepairable, and at a minimum, I would need to replace the two rear tires, but they recommended replacing all 4 that were less than a year old. I declined the service. I took my vehicle somewhere else, and the tire was repaired, and I haven't had a problem with it since.

I went in to renew and upgrade my AAA membership.I entered the store, both agents were busy so I sat down. They both finished, one went into the garage area, the other picked up some papers. I was totally ignored. A woman walked in, she was greeted coming in, said one of her new tires on her Porsche was low. They Instructed her to pull around for air and instructed someone in the garage to handle it. That's when I left after 20 minutes .

Paid $662 dollars for a repair when me and my wife broke down on the 19th and now a week later on the 28th the same thing broke and they want me to tow my car back to OH from KY to have the repairs covered by the 24month warranty because I’m a AAA member like hey that’s a joke thank you for taking advantage of a Veteran and his family.

**FORGOT TO TIGHTEN OIL DRAIN PLUG** Went there for routine oil change. Drive my car home and park it on the street. Eventually I moved it to my driveway, HUGE oil stain on the driveway when I went to leave. And it is 'luckily' still leaking, engine hopefully wasn't dry after driving it. Would have blown my engine if I didn't notice as I was leaving for Atlanta the next day... Will no go there again or recommend their services.

Friendly, but not smart. Told them not to stack my after market rims because they stick out from the tire and can scratch easily. Instead they put them face down on the pavement. Can’t say they didn’t follow directions.

Service was excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had tires installed and mounted with an oil change and alignment. They took very good care of my car and were very fast at everything. 10/10 recommend and will be going back!

Called to get 2 tires under Bob Sumerel road hazard. As soon as I mentioned the road hazard, the guy on the phone says it will be atleast 2 weeks before they can get my car in. Absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable! You're a tire shop! That's ok though. Bob Sumerel in Newport got in and done. They did a great job! Will never go Kenwood again!

I have been going to Bob Sumerel for over 10 yrs. I WILL NO LONGER go there after what happened during my routine oil change. They lost the cap and the dipstick was not properly put back!! I had oil on my engine causing it to smoke bad. They said they thoroughly cleaned and l will get a free oil change the next time. Well l drove it around and l still smelled the burnt oil. I took it to my dealership and it took them almost two hours to thoroughly clean my engine. They lost a loyal customer!!! I’m SO UPSET with them right now!!!

I went there to get a simple tire patch they didn’t even check it and told me that I need a brand new tire. The metal piece that was in the tire didn’t even get damaged from the metal piece. TLDR BAD SERVICE

Unbelievable. I was told to call back by the mechanic and I could check in with him but the front desk woman refused to answer any question I had. I couldn't get past her. I'm not going to go all the way when talking to the mechanic for 5 seconds would answer my question. So frustrating.

a real bad auto repair experience, AAA sumerel installed incorrect and non functioning rack/pinion/power steering pump as the correct parts are no longer available for my car. Now I have no power steering or horn and air bag lite flashing. AAA promotes auto safety, i now have a car i am unable to sell and is dangerous to drive

Absolutely phenomenal service!! We came in after having to put a donut on our car on the side of the highway. They were able to get us a new tire and even squeezed in putting it on for us within 20 minutes. All when we showed up at 4 and they closed at 5 on a Saturday!!!

Zero stars. We have taken our fleet of cars here for years and they always had great customer service and we could trust them. New customer service is not knowledgeable or good. And new mechanics are untrustworthy now. It’s like they’re trying to fix things they have no idea how to fix. We have several times had to get work redone somewhere else. Cannot recommend them and very disappointed in the downturn of this store.

Always behind schedule so expect a delay & don't expect any benefits from a AAA membership. In addition to taking an entire day, they wanted me to pay more when I came back with a tire valve leaking from the base due to careless installation. Much better experience with tire discounters down the road.

One of the worst days happened last week on 10/5 when my car was having trouble and I had to get it towed to the nearest AAA service repair shop. My boyfriend and I were in the process of buying a second car that week and everything happened all at once, nothing was going right (was even having trouble getting a rental car). I just wanted to thank Patty and her partner in crime (I can't remember his name, my apologies) for everything they've done, to making sure I'm alright and able to get home safely, to letting me know exactly what was going on with my Hyundai. The mechanics did a wonderful job on my car and I would recommend anyone, especially AAA members to go to their location for service.
