Truly above and beyond service. Had an issue that was expected to be quick and easy. However, it turned out to be something more unexpectedly; the technicians and management articulated well, and the timeline expanded. That said, I was blessed to encounter such a scenario here with this shop in contrast to anywhere else. Patience is a virtue across the board of life, and they will see to it that it is held to that when dealing business with them. 10/10

They used deceptive practices to get me to bring my car in. I made an appointment on a Tuesday to bring my car in on a Thursday because I was told by the Manager they could have a look at the car. When I brought the car in, the Manager stated that he couldn't look at the car until Friday because they were busy. After questioning why didn't he inform me regarding the drop off schedule, he stated that the Corporate Office tells them to tell all customers to come in regardless. I didn't hear anything from them so I decided to go there the following Tuesday & he promised to look at the car that morning. They didn't. I finally got a diagnosis that Wed & was told they needed to order parts. I heard nothing from them so i called on Friday 6/14 only to be told that they haven't went to go pick up the parts. I told them that I will pick up my car & I was told that I couldn't because they have already paid for the parts. So it seems now that they are forcing me to keep my car there. Deceptive & Untrustworthy. Do NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE

Went to get a trans leak diagnosed and didn’t get one answer except my engine is missing parts and that ill need an entirely new transmission but didn’t give me a reason why! Then on my ride home I heard and entirely loud noise of something rattling turns out the technician didn’t properly reinstall my tire 3 of the lugs were loose wouldn’t recommend going to any AAmco to any one!!!! 0 stars

Ashley set up an appointment for me right away Thursday morning. Brought my car in for an inspection Ron did the inspection on my car he informed me that my cabin filter needs to be replaced and he pulled out two nails from my tires that other mechanic didn't see, replaced my valve caps for me and even my tire pressure. He also found that transmission is leaking fluid. Cool place. I have an appointment next week to repair the leak in my transmission. Sure wish I found this place before going to all those other auto repair places.

Customer service is great at the front desk. Ron is a great spirit, he cleaned up work someone else did. An even though the problem I came for didn’t get resolved he was honest and telling me to go to Kia. I’ve been to a few shops trying to figure out the problem with my car and no one knows. Thank you for being honest and not trying to hustle me out my money.

The manager Ian was so nice and really helped explain what was wrong with my car and what needed to be done. I don’t really know much about cars so I had a lot of questions and he was so knowledgeable and patient with me, and explained everything so that I could understand what was going on.

They were so warm and helpful when I brought my car in for diagnostic. I’m always semi apprehensive about auto shops as I feel women often get taken advantage of- I didn’t feel that way here. The managers are engaged in the process and the mechanics discuss your car issues with you in a manner that you can understand. I appreciate their services and will frequent this location moving forward. Thanks guys!!!

Well I had my car towed to dealership where I was informed that I needed a motor and the dealership didn’t recommend that I use my extended warranty so I had my Malibu towed to AAMCO at 4701 S Halsted where my extended warranty was excepted. Great customer service , very thorough technicians. Come to find out I didn’t need a new engine. My car is back on the road and running just fine. I am so grateful that I made the correct decision to go with AAMCO and that’s where I will be taking my Malibu for all services needed . I really appreciate Marcus and technicians.

When I say Marcos at Aamco transmission is the man you want to see. He play no games when it comes to getting back in your car. He tells you every step that need to be made. He go straight to the point with whatever warranty company you have. He going to tell you what's exactly going on and what he going to do to get you back in you car. Had a brand new transmission installed in my Chevy Tahoe in Memphis,Tn drove back home to Chicago and noticed a vibration in my Tansmission contacted the Aamco here in Chicago and they informed me that I needed new axle bearings and seal in the rear differential and that was supposed to fix the problem, another thousand plus dollars and now I have the same problem I don’t recommend them and still waiting to hear back from corporate because someone is giving some money back or to court we go!!!

My car broke down. I thank God for Car Shield. The reason for a four-star and not five-star. Is simply because of the amount of time that it took. I found out that the young man (Keylin) not sure of the spelling. Is the only one working the front end of the business. Not being able to take a lunch break has to ware a person down. Once my car was diagnosed the repair was done in two days, but because the young man doesn't have any help to operate the front end of the store. It took a week to get the diagnoses. Needs more staff! What's actually keeping this business together is the young man who works the front end. Please get him some help before you lose him. He is an asset to your company.

Went in for a check on the transmission but was told I needed to change my gear ratio. This is fine because it is something I needed to do, but they never checked my car to tell me that. Didn’t put it up, don’t think they even moved it and I really think he was just basing it off my tire size and the symptoms I expressed. I’m rating it this high because the young man manning the front desk was one of the most respectful people I’ve dealt with in a while. He was helping people with getting financing together for repairs. He was very courteous to me. The guys in there seem solid, I just wasn’t a fan of how one of their techs went about this.
