My trucks warranty ran out so I searched for a great local mechanic. Two friends both recommended Mime at AAMCO. Mike did not disappoint. He did a great job diagnosing and repairing my truck! And, it was way more affordable than the Ram Dealership. I highly recommend Mike for all your vehicle mechanical needs. 5 Star performance!

excellent service. mike gave me numerous pictures of the inside of my transmission and explained each and every one. explained exactly was wrong. gave me a very competitive price and three options for level of repair. happy to be back on the road for much less money than the car dealer in town

I am writing this review to express my sincere gratitude for the exemplary service provided by Mike at AAMCO. It is my understanding that he is the owner. Recently, my husband faced a challenging situation when he mistakenly put DEF fluid in the fuel tank of his beloved truck. Initially, two different mechanics informed us that the engine would need to be replaced, which would have been a significant financial burden. One of those mechanics hadn’t even seen the truck! Thankfully my husband phoned Mike to get his opinion. Mike stepped in to assess the situation and offered us a thorough and accurate diagnosis. His commitment to ensuring we were not taken advantage of was truly commendable and greatly appreciated. The truck is running great, we did not need to replace the engine, and it only cost us a flush and a few filters. We have entrusted many of our automotive needs to Mike, and each experience has reinforced our confidence in his expertise and customer care. Best place to take your vehicle. Mike walked me through everything that went wrong with my transmission, gave me multiple different price points to choose from, and was super easy to work with through the whole process. I wouldn't want to take my truck anywhere else

For being a female and taking a car to a shop one would expect to hear bad news . Could happen.. did not .! From the beginning Mike and his guys are truly honest. I dropped a car off and they ran tests/diagnostics to see what was wrong with it. Owner called me with issues they found and was upfront and honest with me giving me a quote that was for worst case scenario as a just in case they start the work and run into issues but also telling me quote for other repair. Oh and not to mention they did the diagnostic completely for FREE. I would 100% take my vehicles to him any time.

It’s never a pleasure to have transmission problems, but if you do, these people will help you thru the problem. They are extremely helpful and they genuinely care. Mike & Alvin went out of their way to go above and beyond, and even though I did need a full transmission rebuild, I am confident I have the best product possible, at a very fair price, and at a business I can trust to be there if I ever do have an problem again. Highly recommend!!

This ankle shop was the best one I've ever been to I went to 1 in Denver. Didn't do me good. I came out here and my transmission took another shit and mike with damn co out here in colorado springs.He's the man he did me, right

This shop takes their work and especially their guarantee seriously! If they fix it, and for whatever reason it doesn't stay fixed...they'll make it right by you! No additional cost!!

FANTASTIC SERVICE! Owner is onsite and involved , Saved me from the dealer wanting to replace the transmission . Only needed a sensor. It is rare to find knowledgeable people anymore. I will use them again for all my trucks needs.

HIGHLY recommend!!! I've lived in C/S since 1976 and have always sought out the best mechanics. This is hands down the best transmission shop I've ever come across. The estimated cost was reasonable and the actual cost came out less than the estimate. They also completed the work exactly when they said it would be. They are professional, easy to work with, great listeners and absolutely proud of the work they do. I'm 100% confident in this shops abilities. You will not be disappointed.

These guys do the work and they do it right. They tell you when it's going to be done and it's done then and there. My fly wheel had a crack in it but these guys fixed the problem for an honest price and they did it quick, highly recommend even if it's a far drive it's well worth the effort

Wow!!!! what great customer service! Mike and Alvin were absolutely wonderful to work with! Complete honesty, strait forward, and several options for me to chose how to proceed with my vehicle, with pictures and explanations of all steps, recommendations and scenarios for how to fix my transmission. While even using many USA made parts! I felt my vehicle was in the absolute best hands and care possible, They treated my vehicle better than if it was thier own. I know the quality of work performed was the absolute best with some of the best mechanics in the business! I'm so glad I brought my H2 to Mike here at Aamco!! They have absolutely earned my future business and praise and i will definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know!! Great job guys!!! 10/2/2024 - Mike and his team did a fabulous job overhauling the transmission on my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. I bought the car in 2016 and the tranny never worked right. Mike tore it apart and indicated it would need to be rebuilt and that they would have to make many of the parts in their shop. Once the job was complete, they instructed me to bring the car back in ten days so they could fix any lingering issues. Are you kidding? Who does that? No one in the past 20+ years that I can recall for me personally. Mike's shop will be my go-to for all future repairs on our vehicles and my Firebird.

Absolutely love Robert(the owner) and all the guys working here. I had a tricky problem with my older Mustang and they welcomed the challenge. Not only was that problem fixed but a different issue was discovered and fixed it without fully charging me. My new favorite automotive shop!

Mike and his team are tremendous. I had a transmission go out 180 miles from my home. Mike’s team picked my Suburban up and took it to his shop. He clearly laid out all the options to repair it. He was extremely transparent and more than fair. His guys did a great job in my car and got it done sooner than expected. I have since reached out to him with unrelated questions and he has been more than helpful. I’d highly recommend them for any transmission job!

Mike and the team are amazing! They just finished rebuilding the transmission on my F350 and they were fantastic to work with through the whole process. Mike sent me pictures and spent the time to go through everything with me. I had taken my truck somewhere else and Mike was able to save me over 1k and built a better transmission than what I would have gotten new from Ford. Mike has been doing this for a long time and it shows. I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a great mechanic.

We received amazing service from the AAMCO in Ft. Collins a month ago, and he recommended us to the AAMCO in CO Springs because the owner was his mentor! After a very successful and reassuring safety and diagnostic check-up and two conversations with Mike I know we found our permanent home for transmission service. I have 110% confidence they will do everything in their power to ensure we have a safe and reliable vehicle for our cross-country adventures.

Amazing people. I have a general distrust of mechanics but the guys at AAMCO were above board. Mike was patient and answered all my questions and explained everything in plain terms. He even gave me advice on purchasing a used car should I not go with his services. He took the initiative to find me a coupon for services too! You’ll probably get Alvin in the phone, he’s very friendly and professional. I just can’t say enough about this place!

I brought a vehicle in to troubleshoot a potential transmission issue when a transmission fluid overtemp light appeared. Mike and his team did some diagnostic testing and found a probable cause of the issue. Mike was helpful in explaining the cause and possible remedies. I appreciate that he didn't try to SELL me on a remedy but rather provide me with some knowledge that I could use going forward to make decisions. I truly believe he has the best interest of the car owner whether he gets your business or not. I'd recommend him to my family and friends.

I highly recommend this shop. I've driven approximately 8,000 miles on my SUV since the transmission was rebuilt and have had no issues whatsoever (I drive a Nissan Pathfinder). These gentlemen care about the work they do and it shows. They are true professionals. Thank you Mike and Alvin.

I wanted to start off this review by saying of all the mechanic shops I’ve been to, this is by far the best. Mike, Alvin, and the rest of the team and are people I would trust with any vehicle. I was traveling on a military move and the transmission in my truck gave out in Colorado Springs. We called AAMCO and Mike was very supportive and immediately showed a willingness to help. We had the truck in the shop for several days and he went so far as to walk me through exactly what he found with pictures and different courses of action. Ultimately my truck was fixed within three days and I was able to get to my next duty station on time. I couldn’t rate this shop high enough, do not hesitate taking your vehicle here for anything you need.

We were headed towards northern Colorado towing our camper when our transmission gave out, and Mike took care of us knowing we were travelers far from home. Very happy with the service. I needed a new transmission and they did a fantastic job. Mike explained everything that needed to be done and explained al the options and then followed through with what he was going to do. Everyone there was great and glad we went with them and they will have my business from now on. I can't recommend them enough.
