Had my transmission replaced in may for my truck and since then have had nothing but problems. Within 7000 miles I have had to take it back 4 times and on the 4th time the bolts were loose and the transmission was starting to fall out of the truck causing damage to the back of the motor. Many things were said to be the reason for the transmission falling out when it only could have been caused by the bolts in the transmission not being torqued properly according the multiple certified mechanics we took it to afterwords. Once they decided to fix the problem they replaced what had been damaged and I get the truck back and am told that it runs great and shouldn’t have any more issues, I pick it up and as soon as I leave the parking lot it is delayed when shifting, shifts rough, and the service 4x4 light turned on which I have never had issues with before and now I do after they replaced the transfer case. Within 7000 miles and 4 times at their shop the truck still doesn’t shift correctly and has caused nothing but problems and thousands of dollars in more damage. I will never bring anything to them again and I will not recommend them to anyone. The only reason they got the one star review was because 0 was not an option

I recently had an exceptional experience with AAMCO that I feel compelled to share. After a challenging situation where a family member, unfortunately struggling with addiction, got hold of my van and added bad gas with water, things were a mess. To make matters worse, he lost both of my key fobs, leaving me unable to start the vehicle. When I brought my van to AAMCO, I was worried about the extent of the damage and the time it would take to fix everything. The shop was incredibly busy, with many cars waiting for service, but the team at AAMCO was dedicated and thorough. They spent a significant amount of time diagnosing the issues caused by the bad gas and the mishaps that followed. What truly impressed me was their commitment to ensuring my van was running perfectly before handing it back to me. As a senior citizen living alone, having reliable transportation is essential for me, and AAMCO understood that. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order, even when it would have been much easier to move on to quicker fixes. I can't thank AAMCO enough for their patience, professionalism, and genuine care for their customers. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto repair! Five stars all the way!

This shop is very busy for a reason. Staff is experienced and willing to deal with your warranty company. Would recommend to all who need drivetrain work for a reasonable price.

I ended up having to replace my eng. In my 2010 F150 Ford pick up and Robert at aamco transmission off of 61st and Lst was able to do the work without it costing me a arm and a leg to get the work done.

I was forced to get my vehicle out of the shop, Robert made me finance the Remaining balance. once I get my vehicle back, I noticed the mounts were not installed the fluid was low and the front trim was not snapped in all the way which caused the trim to fly off. I mentioned this to Robert 5 minutes after I took my car out and he stated since it wasn’t there, we didn’t install them. That’s like saying I need new Lugnuts and only giving me four out of five because it was only four there. Robert stated that he would fix the trim and told me not to not take it anywhere far. I also mentioned that the transmission fluid was low and that it needs to be checked while running, and he assured me it needs to be off while checking it once I took it to the Nissan dealership I was informed my fluid was low Since it was not measured correctly. It’s been three months, I have left voicemails and I have not gotten no information Back. I am beyond mad and frustrated because $1200 for a radiator is ridiculous and I told him that The reason why I didn’t want to do it myself was because of the trim on the car. I am not good at removing body panels so I had “professionals” do it. exactly what I was worried about is what happened .I’m gonna have to purchase my own mounts and trim and reinstall it myself since they did a half ass job. I was charged $1200 for to replace the radiator and the job was not complete. Do not come here they will rip you off. Robert Only cares about business not his customers. Can’t wait for the owner to respond with some dumb ass bullshit on why they didn’t complete the job let’s hear it The front trim was never addressed. I have not received a single callback to get the new mountains installed. This company is a bunch of bullshit

Robert and the staff were able to quickly take care of our transmission problem. Robert was giving us updates frequently during the process and AAMCO was able to complete the work for less than any other estimates we received.

They will take your $$$$weather your vehicle needs, a small fix or not They will charge you as high as the customer allows (the less knowledge on the customer the better)

I had my car towed to AAMCO on Monday and Tuesday Robert let me know my options. He was very helpful and helped me with the finance part and my Thursday my car was ready to go. Highly recommended and moving forward always bringing my car here to AAMCO. Thank you Robert for all that you did

We brought our car in today fully expecting a huge bill given the problems we were having. Not only was AAMCO able to get us in right when car was towed there they had the car fixed in a matter of minutes. Thanks for making a rough day 100% better!!!!

All I can say is what a great place to take your vehicle. The GM Robert is a super guy and his team knows what they are doing. Not only that but they are honest and very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone anytime.

Robert made this whole ordeal easy and gave me a great deal on my transmission and even dealt with the credit card company to give me the best financing option! Would highly recommend Aamco on 60th and L and I'll definitely be going back for other services on my vehicles!

The mechanic first points out that the panel in one of the front wheel wells was detached. I left the car with him over the weekend for an inspection, came back to pick up my car, and he didn't even bother to reattach the very panel that he pointed out was detached. Not that it was all that hard to reattach, but really?

Did a awesome job on letting me know what the problem was. GMC has a problem with the torque converter on suburban and Tahoe models. Unfortunately I'll think I take my business to Certified transmission; only because their 5yr warranty is > AAMCO 18mo warranty

No bull, this place and the people that work there are the nicest and the most caring people I've ever met. Robert, thank you for taking care of my truck and going to bat for me with the warranty people. I don't know if you guys knew it, but I'm a veteran, and for you all to take care of me the way you did means a lot. Please let your mechanics know my transmission is working perfectly. Such a great place to go! Such amazing people that work there, Robert is extremely nice and knows how to keep someone’s spirits high. (If I was his manager I’d give him a raise) Had me laughing every time we spoke. And he genuinely cares about his customers. Have had our car since the 16th of last month. Poor communication Ive called over and over to be told Ill get a call back..... I keep having to call. Was supposed to be done Wednesday then thursday then friday called at 3 doing tests will be soon now im guessing were not getting it today either.....

This is a horrible place to take your car. No honest at all. They lie constantly. They take parts from your car. You better never take any car to this place. They will say this is a fake review, but it’s not. You better stay away from this place. I hope they end in jail sooner than later. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 This place needs to be closed permanently. They don’t even deserve a star. The only Star they need to see is the sheriff’s. I hope this will happen 🙏🙏

Worse place ever to get your car fixed I would not recommend them to anyone and no this review isn't fake and look my name up in your records I was there in may/June and you wanted to charge me $600+ to a glorified oil change or basic tune because all you did was change my oil and spark plugs and my car still had the same issue check engine light still on and watch out if they suggest easypay which I believe is a scam. So whoever is reading these reviews stop lying about this being a fake review

Finally got my vehicle back after almost 3 weeks. Robert the guy that answers the phone is rude inappropriate & disrespectful!! And had the nerve to have a whole row of teeth missing! I walked in and he blatantly ignored me walking in & rolled his eyes at me! They just got over a thousand dollars from working on my car and that’s the thanks I get! Just totally disgusted all because of the guy that answers their phone all day. 0 Stars!! And I’m hearing noises in my car!!

Robert was very helpful in getting my vehicle in, and letting me know what was wrong, and the cost of repair! The person who worked on my vehicle did a great job, as always, and it doesn’t smoke when I drive, nor do I have to add water and antifreeze every week! I will be back as repairs are needed!
