I took the car that I planned to buy here because the transmission cap was off and it was a red flag. They recommended the basic transmission inspection which was something like 80 dollars, as opposed to another transmission shop where they wanted to charge 250 for a similar inspection. I think what matters here is honesty, they could have convinced me that the transmission needs a broader inspection. Instead they listened to the problem and came up with the right recommendation. Additionally since I don't understand from the cars I asked for a second look at the stiff drive feeling, even though that wasn't included in the scope of the inspection Sawyer made sure to follow this up and informed me of the reason after talking to the mechanic. I want to say thank you to Brian and the staff for all the hard work they did for my car. From the moment I made my very first phone call I was given excellent service. There was a LOT wrong with my car, but I was notified of every of single step. I was given good advice. I was shown old damaged parts. I appreciate that AAMCO was concerned about my safety. This is my 2nd car that they’ve worked on. I was able to have my car towed to this location, and after a thorough inspection, have my car repaired in a timely manner. Great service ; friendly customer service

Took my car to AAMCO and Brian and Chris helped me a whole lot! Brian kept me updated and helped me with any questions I had. All the workers did an amazing repair on my car for a lot cheaper than I thought it would be! I appreciate it a lot, thanks guys!

Have to admit I must've been the worst customer they had lately. But overall satisfied with the work that was done on my vehicle . Thank you UPDATE: Came in 12/8/23 for brake pad repair and it was taken care of in a timely manner. Brian and Janelle are friendly and easy to talk to. After it all my vehicle still squeaks when stopping especially in warm temps. I definitely do not recommend ammco to touch your brakes!

I have a CVT transmission and every other place I called laughed at me and told me good luck fixing my transmission but here! They were honest, fast and responsive. I’m so grateful they were able to fix rather than a whole new transmission. Will be coming back!

I wouldn't recommend AAMCO TRANSMISSION & TOTAL CAR CARE in this location to anyone. The service was incompetent in ordering the correct parts. This caused a TWO WEEK DELAY to deliver this vehicle, a 2019 DODGE RAM BIGHORN. Brian became argumentive and disrespectful as I simply was concerned in this matter. What's going on with my truck? I asked Brian if he would be satisfied in this situation? "BRIAN SAID NO SIR". Brian offered a free oil change to compensate for the two weeks... Really? I picked my vehicle up, drove from the location to 47th Ave, in the next block. The vehicle stopped running, the engine light came on because of incomplete work. WOW, my worst nightmare come true. 14 day later, I finally received my vehicle.

This place is why many of us fear mechanics. Took car in for a transmission fluid flush and was told transmission was going to be tested. Manager never mentioned that they charged 79.99 for such test, four hours later he calls me to tell my transmission had failed and I needed it replaced. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my transmission, I was only doing for maintenance as my vehicle is 2012 toyota camry with 157k miles. Long story short do not take your car here. Manager is an untrustworthy fn LIAR! I got the car like the picture

Bought a car for my kids graduation. Car has been working flawlessly until I get a call saying dad the car won't go over 25 and gets the bucking crazy likes. So I took the car into a transmission repair shop in Elk Grove won't mention no names, but they advertise as being The Auto Experts. They said the transmission was ruined had metal flakes in it and I needed to get a replacement that was going to cost me over $8,000. I THEN took the car over to Brian and Janelle and the AAMCO Team and they diagnosed my car's transmission and found I had a faulty clutch actuator and the cost to repair it would be less than $350.00 to get my vehicle back on the road like it was before. It's good to finally do business with the company that's transparent and honest with their customers unlike others way to go AAMCO Team on Franklin boulevard. I'll definitely be referring you to everyone I know.

Came here for transmission service. 2 months ago. Told me.my brakes were bad and my sterring wheel was pulsating. After a few days Came twice for the loud squeeking and was told both times it's harmless. To this day still squeeks and I am going less than 20 mph . There is no didference in my braking either. So sad! I don't recommend this place to touch your brakes!!! ---C

I brought my vehicle in with the assumption that I needed a transmission, Brian insisted on doing a vehicle check first, it turned out that I didn't need a transmission at all and that I needed a minor engine repair. My chevy truck had a strange shaking feeling, I thought I needed a transmission and Brian discovered that I simply had a bubble in my tire. Replacing a tire is a lot cheaper than a transmission. Thanks for the good service Brian and Janelle

Today I took my Lexus in to Aamco. I had a small transmission fluid leak. Brian was able to get my car checked in and found that the pan gasket was leaking, within a couple of hours he was able to get the parts and repair my car. Same day service. Can't get that from the dealership! Aamco is my shop from now on. Thanks again Brian.

First off this was my best experience going to a shop ever. Friendly staff helpful and all around courteous. Nick and his team is the best. Nick helped me get Everything going. Very patient and understanding man. I will send ppl that way for service and recommend them highly. Awesome experience. Got my old 97 chevy Silverado back on the road. Much respect to the staff and nick over at aamco of roseville. If I could give a higher rating I would just great work.

I brought my car in a few days ago because I was having starting issues when I would listen to the radio with my car turned off for only a few minutes. I talked with your receptionist, Brian. He helped me out initially and was very professional. After an inspection, Janelle called to tell me that it wasn't my battery at all, but that I had a really loose battery cable. The bolt had been stripped. They installed a new bolt and everything has been great ever since. *side note, I noticed that Brian is part of my community. Just an observation and I commend AAMCO for being very inclusive and they have a cute latina working there too. The next time my car has issues, I'll make sure to come back.

Visiting from out of town, my check engine light came on, Brian pulled the code and said it was a large vacuum leak. He checked my fuel cap and I had left it at the gas station. Whoops! Brian directed me to the Napa at the corner and cleared the code for me. And here I thought I would have an expensive repair! Thanks guys!
