No one has the talent and tenacity to service classic automobiles like Patrick and his team. He provided progress updates as my vehicle was being worked on and made sure I knew exactly the nature of the work that I was authorizing. Patrick is great - simple as that.

Just be careful going here .. brought My car in to get two studs repaired on my wheel. Ended up having to leave my car overnight because they broke two more studs off my car while taking off the tire. Was going to upcharge me $450 on a $60 part that I ended up buying and purchasing myself because I didn't want to be ripped off. Labor came out to 459$ All for another part that was never broken and never had any issues to give out 5 mi after leaving the shop. When I called to tell them what happened I was told to come back so they could tell me what else I needed to buy. So for future references, if you know how to fix your car yourself or are a quick learner look on YouTube. Buy the part go step by step but if you want to have to spend money for parts that you never needed and have your car tamperd with don't come here

My wife and I were in our way to California from Carlsbad New Mexico when we had automatic transmission issues. It was stuck in gear. We thought it was going to be major. Called there and Patrick was very nice over the phone and offered a courtesy check for free. Who does that? That was nice. Then he said the technician suspected something loose in the wiring. They could have said anything and I would have had no choice to accept it as it would have been easy to believe it was something major. But they were honest. Patrick then charged a reasonable price to get in deeper and diagnose it. And his assumptions turned out right and I was charged a minimal price for the repair considering it could have been a lot more if the transmission was out. Their knowledge and expertise was really on display. And through the whole time Patrick was considerate about our situation and got to us in a speedy manner considering all the work the shop had going on and communicated to us through the events so we knew exactly where we stood every step of the way. I owned and ran a mechanic shop and was very impressed. Thank you guys. Thank you Patrick. I'm taking my wife's vehicle from Carlsbad NM to you in Tucson when I get a chance. Thanks

Patrick kept us informed the whole time. The team at aastro did amazing. Originally was a bit nervous because I don’t trust many mechanic shops but I’d definitely bring my vehicle here. Best auto repair shop I have ever been to! Patrick is so honest and awesome in making sure you understand what's going on with your vehicle, every step of the way! I took my vehicle there mainly for transmission work and ended up loving this place so much I got everything done there! I won't be going anywhere else ever again!!!

Had my f250 besil def pump replaced, cost me $2,500 made a trip to Idaho, engine light came on,had to take it to a Ford dealer which they said it wasn't installed correctly had to pay out $ 1,500 . Not happy and had to borrow $ from my brother.

Appreciate your team's flexibility to take on unusual tasks, like clearing a plugged drain hole in the passenger door to drain out accumulated rain water and pine needles, and recovering the pocket knife my center shift console swallowed! Of course you all are already great at helping us enjoy miles of smiles by doing real heavy shop stuff!

SO DISAPPOINTED AGAIN... Last year I was charged $1100 to change my Honda Accord starter... 🤷🏼‍♀️🙆🏼‍♀️ I've been taking my car here for 3 years, like clockwork when it says to change my oil, I ALWAYS ask them to check my brakes, which they should do anyway.... EVERYTIME I was told they were GOOD... THEN I took it in this week to be told I needed ALL FOUR ROTERS and pads. 🙆🏼‍♀️ $1100- $1400... OHH MY GOSH. He said there was NO WAY to know my brakes were wearing... HOW CAN THAT BE???? I took it to a different AWESOME shop.... they 'turned' my roters and new pads for 1/3 the cost. I called Patrick..... he said...well we don't 'turn' rotors... In my mind..He should have told me that......and given me the option to take it else where. WHAT a SHOCKING and BAD day that was. Just glad I had someone to direct me elsewhere... SO SAD that it's ALL about the $$$$.

These guys were great, I was ready for a transmission repair, and they did not try to fool me, they reset the electronics and called me with the news that all was good and true to their word, car drives perfectly. Blair and his teams get a thumbs up from me every time!

I use AASTRO for all of my vehicles. I asked Patrick about an exhaust emission concern I had with one. He could have had me make an appointment for a diagnosis. Instead he recommended an over the counter product I could use as a preventative. THIS is the kind of service AASTRO (on INA) provides. Thank you.

My husband took his Dodge 1 ton in to get his transmission rebuilt , 2 years and 3 months later ( 3 months after warranty expired) the transmission went out again. Took it somewhere else and they were surprised to find the Transmission filter fell off inside and the valve bodies were not done causing the transmission to go out again! $6669 dollars we spent at astro for nothing! Never will we recommend them or use them.

Patrick and Emily are top notch. I always thought Patrick was the owner. I just found out it's corporate and he's a manager. No one I've encountered in Tucson cares more for their customers, the vehicles and the business than Patrick Cooley. This is a great shop for all your needs, not just transmissions. Highly recommend. Beware of neggy reviews. The only poor review I found was from a whiner who complains about EVERYTHING. Unlike most shops, Patrick will never try to sell you something you don't need. A truly honest man.

Patrick and his entire team are nothing short of amazing. Honestly, integrity, and a true mastery of one’s skill set are a rare combination these days. This location was recommended to me by a friend and boy am I thankful. We purchased a used vehicle that wouldn’t pass emissions. Prior to hearing about Astro on Ina, we’d taken this to another transmission shop across town. Not only did they miss diagnose the issue, but they tried confidently talking my wife into an over $8,000+ transmission replacement. This was more than we paid for the vehicle. After paying a few hundred dollar diagnostic fee I reached out to friends I knew in the industry for a 2nd opinion shop. That’s how I found out about Patrick and his team. Patrick’s team found this was a small sensor failure outside of the transmission and had it fixed within a few days. Additionally, after hearing the car was new to us, their team proactively looked it over for us. They found minimal issues from wear and tear that I happily asked them to complete. The cost was about 1/4the the other companies quote AND the other companies repair scope wouldn’t have even fixed the issue! Since, we have taken 2 of our other vehicles to Astro on Ina. The quality of work, customer service, and communication has continued to be outstanding. The pricing, more than fair. I will quite literally be telling everyone I know about this location.

Patrick was upfront and kept me informed throughout the process of repairing and removing packrat nests in a car I purchased. I also had some other maintenance done and Patrick and his team went above and beyond my expectations. I was very pleased and will be taking my car back for routine and any non-routine repairs needed.

The whole AASTRO Team (Ina Road) was phenomenal. From the time Ms. Emily checked us in to Mr. Patrick who kept us up to date with the issues on my older Yukon. The intake of your vehicle is a benchmark for others to follow suit on. They take pictures of your vehicle, annotate any issues, then update the information online for you. You are not kept in the dark, and everything is transparent, the way it should be. Patrick and the team are rock solid professionals and if you need work on your vehicle give them a try. Was having clutch problems, with my 2004 ranger, it was real hard shifting between gears. They had it for three days. Got it back and it was still hard shifting.

You will find your trust was very well placed. More than that, they are friendly, efficient and a real pleasure to deal with. Customer service was excellent. Brought my 2000 bmw 328i in for transmission fluid leak. And tyranny made "clunk" when placed in reverse. Broken mount replaced and transmission service completed which fixed the 2 leaks. Communication was fantastic. Will be back.

I highly recommend this AASTRO transmission & auto repair shop. The mechanics & receptionist are very knowledgeable, conciderate, & helpful. They do a free full inspection & give you a link to the report. I took my van in yesterday, they fixed my heater / ac issues & took care of my rear brakes & my van was ready yesterday & they are very reasonable. I've taken my van to several different mechanics in Tucson & I felt like I was taken advantage of, but I feel very confident with them. This ASSTRO is my to go to. I've got other issues with my van that I know they'll take care of at a very reasonable price. Thanks AASTRO 😁

My experience with Aastro Transmission was excellent! I was from out of town and had to call around to find a shop that could fit me in. They worked me into their schedule and quickly diagnosed my problem and presented several options to get me back on the road. They had my truck fixed when they said it would be fixed and for the price they quoted. Between the service manger and the receptionist they kept me updated every step of the way. I would use them again in a heartbeat!
