The glowing Google reviews led me to Abrams, and not only did he live up to the hype—he exceeded it. I came in for routine job: replacing spark plugs and an ignition coil. Simple, enough but Abrams turned it into something far more valuable. He walked me through the process, explaining in detail how my car’s setup was unique, gave me the used parts, and shared practical tips on caring for my car and saving money in the future. It felt less like a car repair and more like your father teaching you common sense auto maintenance. His pricing is fair too. Beyond his expertise, Abrams is the kind of person who makes you want to come back. He treated everyone who walked through the door with genuine warmth and respect. I can’t recommend him enough.

Love Abram been going there for over 25 years. He is the most honest man I have ever meet in my life. I will follow him wherever he goes and until I can't drive anymore. So hard to find a honest mechanic especially being a women. He is the best in Chicago, illinois.

Best mechanic shop in Chicago. Honest, trustworthy, and incredibly knowledgeable. If you want to have a good and fair experience with an auto mechanic, this is the only shop you should visit. Fair reasonable pricing and good solid mechanics.

Excellent service for SUPER reasonable prices! I went in to get my tail light bulb replaced, on the way over found out that part of the undercarriage was dragging. Carlos took it all in stride and got if fixed within an hour for far less than I was expecting. Really great service, good prices - I'm definitely making this my go-to auto repair shop!

Abram is a an honest good mechanic. I have owned 4 different cars in last 17 yrs. and he has always been excellent in diagnosis & work. Can get busy cause he has a following. Only mechanic you'll ever need. Fair prices and will show what was done/parts old and new and if ever an issue he is a good honest person & mechanic. Parents, sibs, other family and friends are clients.

Abram is as honest as they come with respect to mechanics. My father has come by Abram many times, and recommended me to Abram. Was in an out within half an hour for an alignment, and Abram’s prices are very fair and competitive with respect to bigger chains. This was my first time here, and it won’t be my last. I would without a doubt come back for any future service needed on my car!

TLDR: Amazing & honest service. Was inexpensive pre-pandemic, haven't needed repairs since (newer cars now) I was told my serpentine belt was near the end of life. I told them to replace it during repair because it was cheaper while already off. Independently verified the belt was near end of life by mileage because I don't have the guages to check the pully tread depth and they don't crack like the old belts used to. I'm about to go back from my new home 25 min away, they're worth the extra drive for the trusted service. Thry did other great jobs for me too.
