I left a vehicle with Ace to have for an evaluation to determine what issues i may want to address. The truck was at their lot prior to,during and after Hurricane Milton. It did not receive any damage and I have since picked it up after choosing not to proceed with repairs. The fee for the assessment was very reasonable.

Mi experiencia con Ace Total Care fue excelente, me atendieron el día y la hora en que me dieron la cita, además detectaron que mis frenos ya estaban mal y me preguntaron si estaba de acuerdo de que me los cambiaran y desde luego que acepten porque es muy importante traer los frenos en buen estado. El trato es amigable y hacen sentir al cliente que le pueden ayudar en cualquier problema que tengan con su carro.

Terrible experience! Car had check engine light for knock sensor replacement. I brought my own knock sensor part, but they talked me into getting their more expensive sensor ensuring it was more dependable. It was not. Communication was terrible as I was unable to even call their shop and they weren’t able to call me. I had to get a middleman just to get in contact with them. I missed countless hours of work and spent a fortune on ubers messing with these folks. No accommodations were made. A nightmare. Needless to say in a 1 month span, I had to take my car to their shop 5 times as they struggled to fix my knock sensor problem. Turns out the “more dependable” more expensive sensors were faulty evertime they installed them. They finally put in “original” less expensive sensors, but never refunded me the money I paid for the more expensive ones that kept malfunctioning. I am almost certain the CEL will come back on as they were clearly incompetent on knock sensors. David, the manager, doesn’t know how to write his wrongs. He thinks he’s a smooth-talking problem-solving professional but I see right through him. I will never trust that dude with my car. They have no idea how much money they costed me by having to miss work and blowing money on ubers back and forth to their shop all because they wanted to keep installing “more dependable” and expensive sensors that never worked.

The staff was super friendly and understanding every time I talked with them. They tracked down the hard to find parts for my MR2 Spyder, and I have had other mechanics drag their feet on acquisitions in the past. After the repairs, the car runs the best it has since I have owned it.

Hands down the best mechanic shop I have been to! If you’re looking for a genuine, reliable and knowledgeable repair shop this is the place. I cant say thank you enough to Jesus and Dante who took the time out there day to fully address my concerns on my vehicle and make sure i understood . Overall great company

I would like to say thank you to Jesus, who greeted me when I walked in the shop. I was sent there by my warranty agency, the mechanic that worked on my car, was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what was wrong with my car. When Jesus called the warranty company, to find out if they would cover the repairs, the agent told him it would take 24 hours for them to get back to him. He tried to explain that I was waiting and I lived in Land O Lakes, so it was not where I could go home and return within 15 or 20 minutes. After Jesus hung up he asked me what I wanted to do, I asked him what it would cost me out the door, for me to pay for the repairs, Jesus said I got you. The cost was reasonable , Jesus called for the part, and told the parts place he needed the part in 30 minutes. The next thing I knew the office manager cam out and told me my car was ready. Thank you to everyone who took care of me and my car, at Ace Total Car Repair in Tampa. You people are the BOMB!!!!!

Estas leyendo para estar seguro a donde llevas tu carro? Eso esta bien yo hice lo mismo, y puedo decir lo siguiente: La tarea de poder encontrar un taller con ética de trabajo suele ser una tarea difícil. Pero déjame decirte que de acuerdo a mi experiencia no dudes en llevar tu vehículo. La atención de las personas en recepción es profesional y amable, los tecnicos en el taller cuentan con mucha experiencia. El sistema de información por medio de la aplicación que manejan es muy fácil, y te muestran fotos de la inspección de tu vehículo. Los precios son ajustados a la realidad. Para mi Toyota Camry realizaron cambio de rotores y pastillas de frenado, además de cambiar una pieza por desgaste en el volante. Atendieron mi vehículo a la hora programada y de igual manera lo entregaron a tiempo. Aun sigues leyéndo? Lleva tu carro de inmediato. Exitos.

First time experience and they're knocking the ball out of the park with providing me professional care, attention to details, courtesy and quality... with a touch of just being human! Sometimes you come in the door for one thing and three other things happen...life be lifing alright! But when the business takes the part out of being "too busy" to acknowledge you and your concerns and replaces it with real integrity and heart; that speaks volumes to me!! I was recommended Ace Total Car Care by a close friend , very happy I took her recommendation. I’m sure most people reading this review can agree that it’s very hard to find a decent mechanic nowadays. Especially , someone like me , I’m pretty ignorant to car issues and pricing something most dealerships and auto shops took advantage of but not this place ! David was the gentleman that helped me scheduling my appointments, Very kind and professional man. Jesus was the mechanic working on my Taos, he was very clear and honest about the issues my vehicle needed fixing. 10/10 recommend this place .

It's nice to be able to bring your car to a mechanic and not worry about getting scammed with false diagnoses. This is a family run business that is operated with integrity. When I brought my vehicles here for repairs, I already knew what the problems were. They were just repairs that I was not able to fix myself and needed their expertise and experience. They diagnosed the issues just as I had known and authorized them to do the repairs. It is also so convenient to drop off the vehicles during after hours, pay for the work electronically with a digital invoice, and then pick up the vehicles again during after hours. Also, having two locations makes it convenient to bring the vehicles to depending on which area I will be in when needing to drop them off.

I went to these people cuz my AC was not working and I don’t know what’s the reason, and they told me we will check and we will tell you what’s the wrong? And after few hours they told me we need to change the compressor cuz it’s broken, then I ask them how much it will cost they told me the part and the labor will cost 2350$ for Toyota prius 2010. I asked them could you just check and try to fix the AC without changing the compressor, the told me no way and it must be changed, and because the cost is too much, I decided to leave them and go to another place, and the other person after checking the AC, he told me the compressor is good and working and no need to replace it, and there’s just air inside so I will take it out, then put new freon, and all this just cost me 150$ and the AC became like freezing, so for that situation I don’t recommend these people for anyone cuz they will try to take you money with no reason

I've been a lot of places to get my car repaired, But ace total car care was great from beginning to end. David and his staff are super professional, honest and transparent about what needs to be done. Before I came to Ace, I took the car to the dealership, and their cost was more than 3 times what ACE quoted me. I chose Ace, and don't regret it! Had my car back in less than two days, good as new, and literally cleaner than when I left it! No kidding!
