I was doing work in rock springs when my van’s transmission started to slip. It had 275,000 moles and was ready to go. Mark had my van running my then end of the week. I’m very happy I brought it to him. I was thinking it was going to be weeks to fix. He had the parts the next day and by Thursday I was ready to go.

I was driving through Rock Springs when my check engine light came on. Mark took care of me right away and went above and beyond to diagnose the issue. He's definitely someone you can trust and was a welcome relief to find a kindred soul in a town I knew no one. Thanks again

Thankfully my car ended up not needing to have any repairs, but Mark was very thorough when going over my concerns. He spent a lot of time answering my many questions and giving me advice. Super friendly and an overall great experience. Would highly recommend Mark and his shop!

The name of the business is Action Auto Repair. The mechanic, Mark is straight forward about your options and let's you know what the cost is. He owns his profession and works with you to answer questions, concerns, and assist however he can. He is a professional. I went to him after waiting for a week for another shop to get a reused transmission that never made it and I grateful it didn't. He was able to replace a solenoid so I didn't have to replace the whole transmission. He even let me know where I could camp out at if this was the worst case scenario. I recommend calling over to his shop if second opinion is needed or even if you are an out-of-towner like me.

My son was driving thru Rock Springs and his transmission went out, so it was towed to Action Auto and Mark said he could fix it. After a month he called and said it was fixed. I flew someone back to Wyoming to pick up the truck and the transmission he put in was faulty so he had to get another one. After another two weeks he called and said he put another one in but it was going to be another $900 due to no warranty after pulling off the lot. I then flew my son back out to get the truck, only for the battery to now be ruined and he disassembled the alarm. Mark now says we are responsible for all of these things that he ruined on the truck while he had it. I would not recommend Mark and his bad business to someone I did not like. Mark is a lying cheating scammer.

Traveling through Wyoming on a three day weekend and the alternator gave out 14 miles out of Rock Springs. We had it towed and checked in to a hotel expecting 3 days wait. Mark happened to drop by the business, saw our van, checked his messages and spent his first day of his three day weekend running around getting the parts and fixed the van that afternoon so we could be on our way. I can’t recommend him enough, he went out of his way so my wife could get to see her family and not lose 3 days of her limited days off.

While on a road trip through Wyoming, suddenly my manual transmission wouldn't shift. Found Action thru my roadside assistance plan. The tow-truck driver also endorsed Mark. When we got there, Mark was quick to give it a look. He discovered that the shift cable needed to be replaced, but the part wouldn't be in for a day or two. He managed to do a temporary repair so that I could get home to Utah, and only charged for labor. I was very pleased, the kids and I got home safely, and I was able to use the car for a few more days to run errands before I got it to a local shop. Wish I could have had Mark fix it though--his quote was a lot less than I paid here at home!

Mark had my car for two and a half months to replace the wiring harness. He never ended up getting it running, kept increasing the bill and still nothing. With that, very little communication. I finally got fed up with him doing nothing to the car so I went and got it, not running. Within an hour of it being in my possession it was running and driving just fine. I wouldn’t recommend his “services” to my worst enemy.

While traveling through WY I developed transmission troubles. I found Action Auto Repair online, and am so thankful I did. Mark was very knowledgeable, did a diagnostic test found and fixed my transmission. Very fare on price. Thanks
