Don't trust them. They Did a good job on the new radiator they replaced but asked for a brake checkup and quote since it was a new to me vehicle. Quoted over 700 so I decided to do them myself. Brakes pads and rotors looked practically new.

I took my car for repairs last week, it should be done tomorrow?Only thing is, I was told it was being worked on yesterday morning. But I went by in the afternoon and it was still parked outside, however just before they closed I went there to get something out of it,and it was in the shop. I'D rather be told the truth,instead of being mislead. Truth is always Best.

Exceptional service, and a very honest and careful diagnostic of our daughters car that was acting very strange! The owner was very thoughtful and took a lot of time and care to figure out what was wrong, and was then kind enough to tell our daughter to stop by his shop if it was doing anything strange again, and to ask her to come back at a certain mileage to have the car checked again to make sure that everything was working properly on it. This is our teenage daughter’s car, and the thoughtful care he gave it thinking of her needs, and her safety were exceptional!

I was stuck 4 hours away from home and they were the only shop I called that was willing to get me in to get the problem diagnosed. Most other shops told me it would be at least two weeks before they could even look at it.

The maintenance was good, 4 days later than they said it would be done. They did not check for parts locally. I found the part locally the first place I called.So the owner ended up irritated and yelled alot. He would not explain the billing. I will no longer do business there. What a shame, I liked him till he blew a gasket himself.

Took my car the read the engine light to replace 02 filters quoted a price of over $500, didn't have fixed, took back a couple weeks later, now they say the engine error code reads I need a new muffler will be $2000 to fix. Never going back, they are out to drain you dry, besides they had my car for four days before letting me know what was wrong and my car gained 28 miles!

Awesome repair shop !! Our truck broke down on a Friday had it fixed by Monday morning. If I lived in town they would be my mechanic of choice.

He lied to me saying I needed Power steering lines and serpentine belt got it checked out by somebody else don't need either one of those i only need a $23 part and he was going to charge me $500 for parts/labor that weren't even broke!!!!

Terrible business ethics took vehicle for alignment. Pat said it cant be done do to some loose parts. Went to pick up vehicle and he wanted 65$ to diagnose the issue although there was nothing done to the vehicle. After an argument with him I decided to just pay the 65$ and get out. Will never take a vehicle back there nor will I ever recommend anyone to go there. Tried to support local but turns out he's just there to screw people over.

Terrible experience. Was quoted 60$ for an alignment not even 30 minutes after dropping it off he called me to tell me he can’t do it due to other parts needing replaced. Go to get the vehicle and wants to charge me 65$ and didn’t even touch it! Also, yelled at me as well. Do not recommend come to period.

Pat has always treated me fairly. I've been to several shops in Gaylord, and he is hands down the best to work with. Regarding the reviews that say they've received rude service - these are some of the kindest people that I've ever worked with.

Was broken down several hours from home and needed emergency service. The wrecker dropped my car off at Affordable Auto and I was definitely not disappointed. Diane provided me a courtesy transport into town while Pat immediately looked at my car, even though he was probably busy for the day. A repair was made in just a few hours and I did not have to be stuck away from home overnight. They truly cared about my situation and I was happy with the results.

Went here for the “free” brake inspection and and when I chose not to get the work done there I was charged a $60 “lift fee”. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. Go elsewhere!

Had an appointment at the VS Hospital in Saginaw on Wednesday and my SUV had problems on Monday night. Pat took it in Tuesday and I had it back Tuesday night. Great service and fair prices. This is my second time there and everything has always been a positive experience. Thanks Pat and a special thanks to Diane,a great chauffeur when needed.

I had several new car inspections done here! I only search for vehicles that are aesthetically pleasing, but I honestly never know how good the “bones” of the vehicle are. I took upwards of 5 vehicles to affordable auto to check out, with almost frustration that every “cute, clean” vehicle was a mess mechanically. I was so happy when I finally found one that was nice on the outside and mechanically and physically sound! Thanks to Pat he gave me leverage to wheel and deal with the dealerships based on what he found wrong with the vehicles. I recommend them hands down to anyone looking for a used vehicle! Get it inspected by Pat first!

this is my 2nd time bringing another vehicle to Affordable Auto Repair. The staff is very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that my visit was the best. Even Pats wife offered to drive me home and pick me up to make sure that i was safe and taken care of. thank you for all your hard work.
