I just wanted to thank Neil and his staff for taking such good care of me. My car started making some strange noises when idle and turning right and since I drive long distances on a weekly basis I wanted to ensure my car’s safety. I came to Neil for a an opinion on my car after going to various other mechanics. One of them dismissed my concerns and assured me my car was fine and the other suggested repairs that amounted over $3,000 without actually looking at my car, explaining, or justifying, simply because of the car’s “mileage”. Neil was very professional and attentive and checked my car up and down until he was able to find the problem. He was honest and straight forward and replaced the faulty engine mount at a fraction (1/5 of the cost) of the aforementioned estimate. My car is running as good as new. If I ever have any car troubles I will never feel afraid to go to the mechanic and get scammed. I will just take my car to Affordable Auto Repair, and so should you!!! P.S. His office is filled with a beautiful gallery wall of art that is also for sale. Make sure you take a look while you wait for your car. Thanks again!! 😊

Neil and his staff are great! He took my old Chrysler in and fixed 2 bad u joints super quick! Amazing customer service, honesty, and patience. They answered any and all question I had. I could really feel a night and day difference after the repair.

Neil, my man Sorry for late, I was very busy on my business. Guys I have a Chevy Traverse 2020 LT and I had a problem with the transmission, The truck lost power and pulled hard when I accelerating again, I was driving in moments on L mode to drive manually shift, on drive mode the shifts pulled hard. I was in Autonation Doral, they didn’t do the job and hurt me with $2.500 bill, I fought and I got reimbursed. The truck was 4 days on the dealer!. I found affordable Auto on Google, read the reviews, check the website and visited the place. Neil, He’s old school, direct to the point, he took the truck, we got a ride, he was driving and doing the scan diagnostic at the same time, he found the problem on the ride, was easy for him. I got the briefing, scenarios, left the truck and after 2 hours I got the call, truck ready and my bill for less than 1k, What else? …Thank you Boss

I read some reviews and thought this shop must be writing its own reviews but I went in for a abs light and Neil had it fixed and ready To go in less than 2 hours and kept me informed on the problem and progress whole time. I think if you live in Miami and ain't going here your probably getting ripped off

When I read the reviews I thought Maybe this place was posting there own reviews but nope. I went in for a abs light and had all expectations of leaving it probably for a day or two at least bur Neil found the problem and fixed and had me in and out in 2 hours. I recommend this place and plan on using it from now on. The best mechanic shop I ever been to. For anyone out there reading this review if you don't come here in miami from the other shops I've used your probably going to get ripped off

Highly recommend. Neil the owner & head mechanic Octavio repaired & got me back on the road in a vehicle my mechanic & I feared had been damaged beyond repair from a bad overheating . I’m glad I took it into Affordable Auto Repair for a 2nd opinion. Neil & his staff diagnosed & repaired my Ford Escape quickly. True professionals & honest, good people.

Neil and OT bring their knowledge and honesty while being extremely fair in their pricing. I am a client for life after they recently worked on my range rover sport! There is no place I would have rather gone. I’m from out of town and it was truly a blessing to find Neil and his associates. My car is complicated (newer Volvo), but it was no match for them! They were kind, honest, and just a breathe of fresh air to show you not all of Miami is full of pretentious A-holes. If I ever come back to Miami to live, I just hope Neil hasn’t retired by then because I would love for him to be my go-to mechanic. Do yourself a favor and invest in good people.

Top notch mechanic who actually knows his stuff with a story/experience that correlated with every single problem that I ever brought my vehicle in for. Where most mechanics will go through a laundry list of things to fix prior to finally fixing the real problem, Neil seems to have a sixth sense and pinpoints the problem most mechanics don't see or intentionally ignore to gouge you.

Wish I could say it was a wonderful experience but it was not. Nice people - but make sure you ask for a COMPLETE, itemized bill before agreeing to any work. They told me that adding a valve to my ac compressor would be a minor addition to the work that was already completed. I asked for a new bill, which I DID NOT receive & the new additional work ended up being $400 on top of an existing $573 bringing my new total to $973. For an average working person, $400 additional job is not “minor” and Neil still managed to tell me I got a deal & minimized the seriousness of situation. They ended up lowering it by $100 on their end, which I was appreciative of, but very much deserved considering they did not provide me with the numbers beforehand like I ASKED. All mechanics have a way of making a job seem inexpensive & then slamming you with a bill after. Again NIcE people , just make sure you ask for a complete quote first & be cautious of any additional work they try to do.lesson learned.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED! I took my AC to a car AC specialist who took 2 minutes to check and gave me an estimate of $1000 and didn’t even explain what would need fixing. Then I took my car to this guy. Let me tell you, he is not only an affordable car repairman, he is also the most HONEST person I have ever seen in Miami. He explained everything about the issue in my car AC. Turns out it was the heater control valve which was causing the problem. He only charged me $60. Talk about $60 vs $1000. Not only that, he was very considerate, professional, humble and knowledgeable person. I have some more issues in my car which need fixing and I didn’t know where to go. Now I know.

As we know they're many "mechanics" in Miami. Affordable is not one of them. The owner (Neil) and his staff have knowledge and they like to work. Went in for a transmission oil check and they did the job fairly quick. To check my transmission is a tedious job. No dip stick, right temperature ect. Would I recommend this place? Yes. Not just for an oil change but for other more complex work. They have knowledge and if not they find it. Recommend? Absolutely.

I just started having issues with the check engine light in my Cadillac and not having alot of extra money or knowing anyone in Miami, decided to call around and see if there was anyone who would offer any advice on how or what could be done before I left for a little road trip over the weekend. To my surprise, Neil was extremely helpful with all his knowledge and even offered a small window of his time to take a look at it for me. Once in his shop, he ran a few tests on it and even drove it around the block to ensure it was safe to drive! Occasionally as a young woman ill feel pressured into doing whatever a mechanic suggests not knowing or understanding the logistics behind it all but with Neil he didn't make me feel that way even a little bit. He took the time to explain every little thing and educate me which i feel is a very rare thing to come by in today's day and age where everyone is only out to help themselves! Will definitely be bringing all future business here.. Thanks again Affordable Auto Repair!

I was desperately looking for a good mechanic, preferably close to me, and thank you Google! I found Affordable Auto Repair. The reviews convinced me to give it a try and I am really glad I did. Neil is knowledgeable and honest, and no joke, he has saved me hundreds (if not thousands) by giving me a reasonable price and even sending me to the dealer when the issue was still covered by guarantee. As a woman I was always afraid of mechanics taking advantage and overcharging or "finding" new issues that needed to be fixed, but with Neil I feel safe to take my car, knowing he will just do his job without creating new issues or inflating prices. I highly recommend Affordable Auto Repair.

after 2 visits to tropical Chevrolet and a local mechanic i Google alot of ppl. finally, I came across affordable auto repair, and after speaking with Niel I had my car towed to his shop. he was busy but ensured he cud squeeze me in. b4 I knew it was done and fixed correctly. I had 5 different mechanics look or either work on this, but only one finished it correctly. THANKS Niel 4 everything 9
