Been there couple of times, they are good people helped me get fixed my vehicles, also authorized to fix vehicles with warranty claims, Bit far from my location but worth it. Will 100% percent recommend.

Took my volvo xc 90 in for head gasket repair, 2 1/months later got it back. 3 weeks later my engine seized. Mechanic at volvo dealer ship said that the repair that was done use to much gasket sealer. This blocked the oil pores. Talked to Alexander motors to get it fixed and was told there was noting they could do. So $5000 for the job they did turned in to $16000 repair. I won't be using this mechanic or do I recommend them to anyone else.

Zero star! This is the worst experience ever! The business owners have no integrity! When I picked up my car, the actual bill $1K was 2 times higher than the original estimated amount I was informed.The parts cost are even higher than the dealer’s genuine parts. Unfortunately, some part not work for my car and keeps making abnormal noise! The owner Wing agreed to refund for the part and labor of this part. And I got replacement at dealer’s store. They gave me a new receipt, which says that they refunded me $ 283.09. However, after one week, when I found the notification email from my bank and logged in my bank account, no refund but a new payment of $283.09! I was shocked! I’ve never seen people doing things like this! I tried to call the owner, no response! I sent the bank details proofs via message, no response!

While the mechanic at Alexander Motors is undeniably skilled, my recent experience left much to be desired, particularly in terms of pricing and clarity. Despite the mechanic's evident proficiency, I found the quote provided to be ambiguous, making it difficult to fully understand the scope and cost of the work required. This lack of clarity ultimately led to a feeling of being overcharged, as the final bill was significantly higher than anticipated. Moreover, upon further investigation, I discovered that the same services could have been obtained at the dealership for a more affordable price, coupled with a more comprehensive warranty. This revelation only added to my frustration, as I realized that a better option was available, one that would have offered greater value and peace of mind. In conclusion, while the mechanic's workmanship is not in question, the overall experience was marred by pricing issues and surprises of fees. The lack of transparent communication, and inexperienced front office workers leads me to a 1 star rating. Customers should be able to trust that they are receiving fair value and clear information, something that was unfortunately missing in this instance.

Alexander Motors is a 5 star auto service center in every aspect! Wayne is an exceptional mechanic who is extremely thorough in his work. His wife was a pleasure to work with as well. My wife and I are from Nebraska, and bought a car in Wichita. We had a problem arise with it, and the car sales center sent me here, as they "trust no one else, and said they are the best." We agree!! I wish we lived closer, as there would be no-one else I would go too. You are very fortunate Wichita to have such a mechanic in your city!

Don’t take your car here if you need anything more than an oil change. This is more of a used car lot than a mechanics shop. The owners have delusions of grandeur regarding their ability to fix cars.All they did was waste my time and take my money.

I took my car down to have the motor mount replaced and they were very efficient!. Got my car back the se day. It still needs work but as soon as there's money for it I will be having them work on it again. Very pleased.

They had my car for 6 weeks this last time it was in their shop (went in 4 different times since October). The lack of communicating the issues they were running into was enough to make me crazy. Not once did they call me to let me know what was going on with my car... not the progress or lack there of. I refuse to send my vehicle there because it's obvious that communication is not something they can pride themselves in. It took myself and my husband blowing up their phones to get answers and those were more like excuses. They were told to begin with what the issues were and never once did they listen.

They went above and beyond to get me back on my cross-country trip ( the radiator blew up). Excellent service, excellent quality. I can not say enough good things about my experience, I wish they were in my hometown. A hidden gem in Wichita!

This place told me that they would look at my car soon, but the soon was exceeding a week without letting me know an estimate of when they can take a look at it or if they even looked at it. Shouldn’t there be some type of communication ? rather than me driving everything I had to communicate. I had to drive 20+ mins to them to find out information because they couldn’t answer their phone. At first they said “oh the technician hasn’t given me an update.” Later on, they said they couldn’t find a time slot to put in my car. If they would have told me the truth initially that they are very busy and given me an estimate truthfully I wouldn’t be this disappointed. I called several times and when I complained that no one was picking up in person, the lady told me there wasn’t an answering machine for the phone. When I got there in few days later again, I saw her answering the phone. I don’t know if they looked down on me because I am a student, but the customer service was really not the best and they were very insincere. How am I supposed to trust you with my car? My car was parked exactly the same place that’s how I knew that they didn’t even check it. Never going back. Although this place was recommended to me by a friend, never referring this place to someone.

I had a serpentine belt going bad on my Hyundai Sonata and they were super reasonable with the replacement cost. I got it in on a day it was convenient and even got my car back by noon! I'm very happy with the service - thanks!

Places like this are a rarity nowadays. The honesty and work ethic of these guys is unparralelled. I could not recommend anyone else for car repairs in good conscience... to anyone. I wish I could give them a hundred stars. The guy that runs the place and does the diagnostics is an absolute genius. And they are probably the nicest people I have ever met in the business.

If I could give zero stars I would. The owners wife was totally unprofessional when I was asking questions about certain charges on my bill. She kept interrupting me and would NOT listen to my concerns. I asked to speak with a manager, and she replied "I'm the owners wife, you can talk to me". I obviously no longer wanted to speak with someone that kept interrupting me. They had my car for 5 days for a quoted 3hr job to remove a starter on a Mercedes. They called and said "they started on it and it should take a couple of hours and it'll be done". That was 3 days ago. At no time did they call to say what the hold up was and when we called numerous times from our cellphone they wouldn't answer, so, we called from a landline and they immediately picked up. When confronted about screening our calls they stammered and we were put on hold. Then we were told that "it's taking more time and I'm trying to get the mechanics to get it done because it's backing up the other cars that need worked on". Why could they not have called and told us this the day or two before? My concerns were a charge I saw for $56 and some change labeled "shop supplies". What? What does that mean you ask? Well, according to the owners wife it's for "shop towels and paper". As a mechanic shop, or any business for that matter, wouldn't your shop towls, paper, and any other supplies FOR YOUR BUSINESS be accounted for in your budget? Ooooh say the $100 hourly labor rate? I've asked 3 other mechanics if this is a normal charge (they don't work on exotic cars) and said that they've never even heard of such a thing. Look at your itemized bills folks and question them so you don't get overcharged. I'm also going to be reporting this company to the BBB because I was told "If you pay cash it will only be this amount as opposed to this amount". Again; whaaat? I will NEVER take my car to Alexander motors again.

I bought my Range Rover in august of 2019. I’ve had quite a few problems since and each time I only trust Weng to fix it. We didn’t meet under the best circumstances but so glad we did! Him and Diana are such great people and truly care about fixing your car and making sure it STAYS fixed! They close at 7 and and worked on my car til 11 pm so we could pick it up. I’ve never heard of mechanics that stay working til 4 in the morning. Seriously great place!

Sorry for taking so long to post this review Bought a car from another dealership several months ago, only had the car for about a month and the ignition cylinder locked up, had it towed to the original dealership i got it from and they didn't want to mess with it but would send it to a partner dealership that could do the work..(not what I wanted to hear and I was extremely hesitant about having my car towed again to the opposite side of town but I did it) Alexander Motors for the ignition cylinder out with the immobilizer chip got it . It took longer than I would have liked but not at all their fault, factory party take time. Once they had everything it was back together in less than a day. And they ultimately charged less than half what the dealership would have charged for the same work. Thank you
