Allspeed is great! Eric and Simon are friendly, skilled and honest. I've been taking my cars to them for years, and feel lucky to have great mechanics nearby.

Friendly service and extremely fair pricing. They didn’t try to upsell any additional services, and even advised that I buy windshield wipers from Costco (which they would install for free) because it would be cheaper. Highly recommend!

Always kind and as fast as possible. They do their best to be communicative before big repairs - calling to make sure you want something pricey done before they do it so that you don't get screwed with owing a fee you didn't expect. We've used them for 1.5 years now and have never been screwed over or had any large issues of miscommunication.

Bring my car here for all mechanical issues.Eric is honest and will not rip you off on unnecessary fixes.

Very nice, honest, and communicative. They are certainly not out to drain every penny you have and will generally call you if they see a problem that could have a cheaper temporary fix as opposed to an expensive permanent fix that you may not currently have the funds for. I haven't had a single issue in the last two years - I live next door and use them every 3 to 4 months or so on my old clunker!

If you have a Volkswagen, don't go here. I suspect the good reviews are for Asian imports, and the one stars are for European cars. My car was smoking from the hood, and I brought it in. They said they couldn't figure out what it was, that it was probably just that the car is old (it's about 15 years old, I've ridden in 50 year old VWs that don't smoke...) The best part, they told me that if I want to know more, I'd have to pay thousands for them to take apart my engine and then /maybe/ they could give me an answer. What? They've never heard of dye tracing? I also had a blinking engine light. They told me it was "fine". I took my poor car to a different mechanic today who said in no uncertain terms that my car is dangerous to drive in its current condition. That it could explode. Okay, so the mechanics here are easygoing, and their rates are reasonable, I guess. I think they're great for basics, or when you can tell them exactly what's wrong with your car and what you want done about it. But if you have a mystery case, or you're concerned about surviving, I'd suggest going elsewhere, especially if you have a European car.

I would award more stars if possible. Simon, the owner, was able to get me in and out quickly. The mechanics are very good and the labor rate is fair. I will take my car there for future service, and encourage everyone I know to do the same. Overall...a very good experience.
