Horrible. I asked to have one tire sensor replaced and the worker kept telling me that I had to leave my car (for how ever many days)and I explained to the worker that I don’t have another car to come back to get the car. They weren’t understanding and I had to drive all the way to Allen tire in Midlothian to get the service I needed. They were understanding and had no problem changing the sensor within 20-40 minutes.

Found my new tire place! I knew something was up with my tires and I needed to wait while it was fixed (always a pain). I was able to get fast, honest and thorough service from the team at Allen Tire. They did their best to be fair and absolutely did not oversell. Great value all around.

I believe they caused damage to my vehicle, and then lied about it. This resulted in hundreds of dollars in repairs and lost time. (It would have been over a thousand if not for some good people at other auto shops.) I took my vehicle in for an inspection and oil change. They told me there was corrosion on my battery terminals that they could clean off. I agreed to have that done. When I picked up my vehicle my heat was blowing full blast and none of the buttons on the control panel would turn it off. This was not the case when I took it in. I immediately returned and told them about these new symptoms. They tried to tell me it was just coincidence that these things happened at the same time they worked on my vehicle. They told me there was no way what they did to the vehicle could have caused that. But, in weeks of problem solving that followed, other technicians at other businesses told me, if Allen Tire disconnected the battery to clean the corrosion, then that could have caused the issue. So they either did not know disconnecting the battery could do that, or they lied. After talking to numerous mechanics it seems commonly known that that can happen. People make errors, things happen, but the fact that they claimed it could not have been them, suggesting that is was just coincidence, or worse that I was lying about it being a new issue, and to leave the customer to troubleshoot a problem they created is bad business.

I am writing a second review due to just today finding out that this company also ripped me off on a serpentine belt. They used an aftermarket belt that did not fit correctly and told me it was fixed. When i reported a couple weeks later that it was still squealing they claimed it was another part causing the issue that would cost 400$ to fix. Rather than do that I just lived with the noise. Now I am getting it quoted at a Subaru dealership and they inform me the belt was not the correct size and that is why I have had this problem. This place should not be allowed to operate as a garage, nothing but shady business practices Edit: they have taken responsibility and refunded my money

I dedicate this 5 Star Review to Paul at the Forest Hill Ave. Location. He went so far above my expectations that he is forever on my Christmas Card List. My wife and I drove up from Florida to sell the family vehicle to our youngest son. Allen Tire was the only location available on this particular Saturday. We had an appointment with Paul for an Inspection and an oil change. A severely damaged Tie Rod was found and replaced. He even fixed the crazy Windshield Wipers that only stopped when you pulled the fuse. (This took a couple of days. So, my wife and I headed back to Florida.) Paul even took the time, on his own luch break, to go pick my son up from Colonial Heights and bring him to the vehicle. Paul immediately built trust with me, and deserves the Badge of a Trusted Neighborhood Mechanic. I will direct all business towards him. Thank you Paul.

I had a great experience here this week. While driving home on a road trip we blew a tire. When we got back in town we needed three to match. I called at 9 and and by noon they had my tires. Only took them two hours to change the tires and even though I'd authorized realignment if necessary, it wasn't needed. Very friendly, quick and helpful.

Awesome new Adaptive One brake pads and Adaptive One ultra premium polymer coated rotors solved the front brake vibration on my wife’s Acura! I’ve been going to the 13210 Midlothian Tnpke location for over 20 years with great success for car & truck maintenance and tires. Always perfect service!

I can't say enough about the service Allen Tire gave me under harrowing circumstances from an older stranded womans prospective. Their compassion and helpfulness turned a bad situation into a great outcome. They went above the normal service to help me. I would choose them again and again. Outstanding!

I trust Allen tire on forest hill avenue for all my vehicle needs , my son and daughter also go to this establishment. The team is totally awesome they make me feel like part of the family , they know who I am when I call or walk in that means a lot to a customer. Mike and Steve are awesome and Whit is a very nice gentleman, we talk about families and such . I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone needing car repairs or servicing . My car was serviced at the Forest Hill Ave location for a flat. The staff was courteous and professional and had me back on the road is less than an hour. This was my first experience with Allen Tire but I will be a repeat customer.

Paul and Mike were prompt, polite, helpful and supremely professional. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the store and shop, the sense of teamwork across the shop, and above all else their honesty. I was in and out quickly and felt appreciated as a new customer the entire experience.

The Mechanic called me and personally apologized about an error that he had made. He expressed how it was done etc. I really appreciated that because you don’t find a lot of people like that these days. That was very kind of him 🙂

This shop is FANTASTIC! After having a nightmare of an experience at NTB on Broad near Scott's Addition, the wonderful crew at Allen Tire restored my faith in car maintenance. They helped me avoid unnecessary work (to the tune of $1,100) that was suggested by NTB. So thankful to have found Allen Tire, recommended by a friend. This will be my new go to shop!

WOW! Outstanding customer service! Extremely impressed with this place! I have been putting off purchasing new tires because I dreaded spending the time during my free time on the weekend in order to complete this chore. The folks at Allen Tire picked up my car while I was at work--called with a quote for approval, replaced my tires and returned my car to me all before my workday ended. I highly recommend them! While discussing this shop with a coworker several other people chimed in and noted that they use this place as well and have been happy for years!
