The employee’s are nice and care about your car. I drop my car off in the morning and receive a call around 12:00pm, letting me know they were finished. This is the only place I go to get my car fixed.

I recently took my 2014 Lexus ES350 to Alternative Solutions for an oil change. The service from Tom and his staff was excellent. My car was returned ahead of schedule, and the price of the oil change was fantastic. I had been going to the Lexus and Toyota dealerships for years for service and paying so much more! It’s also nice because I get to support a local business in Cleveland Heights. We will be bringing our cars here in the future. I really appreciated their hospitality.

Basic Oil Change Gone Wrong... I went in for a full Engine Oil, Transmission Fluid, and Differential Oil change. And was advised by Tom to wait a bit longer for the Transmission Fluid and Differential change. After only getting the engine oil changed, I opened my door the next morning and noticed my fender was slightly misaligned, and the sideskirt was popped out at the spot where the the jack would go to lift the car. I called and drove up to have them take a look at it and reschedule an appointment to fix the alignment and was pleased with the outcome. Until I noticed a wet spot under my car in the driveway. I thought it was moisture, but it stayed. And after backing my car in instead of pulling in forward there is another oil stain. I'm not going up a third.. no fourth time to fix an oil change I could've/would've done myself in the first place and not have had any issues. However, the conversation was nice, and the people were friendly.

I finally found an honest competent mechanic to service my Honda's. I certainly would recommend going there versus the dealer. They will not upsell you and they will perform good work.

This automobile repair business only handles Toyotas, Hondas and associated brands like Lexus and Accura. My first Toyota was purchased new in 1989, and I’ve only driven them and Hondas since. Why? Because Alternative Solutions‘ skills, precision, honesty and prices far exceeds any other auto service business I’ve ever dealt with.

Alternative solution is a reliable, trustworthy place to take your car for care! I have been taking my car here for years and refuse to take it anywhere else. The staff is very knowledgeable, and caring. They are very approachable, and don’t try to upsell you on anything you don’t truly need to have done to your car.

Amazing honest service. Toyota cleveland heights originally quoted me $5,000 for repairs for a used 2011 Toyota Camry. Thankfully ran into a customer at Toyota who recommended Tom from Alternative Solutions. They checked my car and said it was fine and only had to replace tires before winter and come back for brake inspection at 7,500 miles. Free courtesy check and only paid $12 for replacing the air filter and cleaning something else. Would recommend them to anyone especially for Honda and Toyota!

Everyone here was really nice and easy to talk to. The first issue we came in with was diagnosed and repaired quickly and at a great price. They explained the issues in an easy to understand way. The process and place was very autism-friendly. The second issue that come up was unexpectedly challenging. Understandably, an issue cannot be diagnosed if it is not recreated. We gave clear info on how to recreate it. We left the car with them a couple times and each time they couldn't recreate it, but then it would turn out they didn't do the thing we said would recreate it. They kept spending their time doing other things, for some reason. This left them mistakenly believing we must be concerned about the rattling or creaking sounds the old car makes, even though I thought we clearly described the violent, loud, and obvious issue that results in a sense of limited control of the vehicle when needing to move the steering wheel even slightly to the left. I feel like more time was spent avoiding taking it on the freeway for twenty minutes of constant freeway speed than just doing it would have taken. We'd be happy to pay for the labor of someone taking that time out of their day to do it, or happy to do the driving if it was a liability concern. We're still not sure why it was a problem to do. I'm sad to have to go deal with people not as approachable as everyone here is just to find someone who will do the actual thing that causes it instead of doing other things that we already know won't recreate it. That being said, we're an autistic couple and it is really hard to find service providers that involve social interaction who are easy to talk to, so even though we're moving to Akron, we'll probably still come back to see them when we need car stuff done, after we get the current issue resolved somewhere else.

Family of four. Nearly ten cars, customers for 15+ years….. Alternative Solution Car Care takes the headache, stress, and confusion out of EVERYTHING automotive. Brutally honest, best pricing I’ve ever seen. Tom is well-connected from the local to corporate level. Need a repair they don’t typically do? They’ll connect you with another reputable shop. Tom has assisted my family with the purchase and sale of multiple used cars. I moved out of state a couple years ago. Tom has still given advice on multiple occasions for repairs, vandalism, and another shop’s negligence. My list could go on forever. Therefore, get your repairs done here.

What an amazing gem of an organization. The guys at this shop are just phenomenal. Before I ever used them, Nick in the front talked me through a unfortunate situation I had with my Prius when the dealership was giving me the runaround. I recently had my car serviced, full brakes, calipers, rotors - they did everything so quickly and for such a fair price. Literally the best service I’ve ever received from a shop. These guys are fair, honest and there was zero run around. A girl’s dream come true. Best kept secret in Cleveland. I’ll be a customer for life.
