Francilla R.'s profile image 8 hours ago Good morning, all, I had been having problems with my car, and I was recommended to Alvizo Auto Repair shop on 501 W. 95th by my neighbors they told me they had been going there for years. I took in there on Thursday 1/2/2025 found out I had a lot of work to be done including a tune-up which I haven't had one in years anyhow after telling me what I needed and the price my eyes got big, and a tear dropped from one eye. I ended up talking to a lot of customers that where there already and they informed me that they do really good work and they had been coming to them for years, and they were coming to them from out of state and suburban areas, I was really impressed, so I did what I had to do to get my car running properly after waiting 4 hours (yes that's how long it took) I left there really pleased with the work they did all in all it was worth the money and the wait. I highly recommend them and if needed will go back again they are also friendly and work with you.

I took my car to them with confidence that they could repair it. I even asked them and they said they could do it. Long story short I had to find another mechanic and purchase all my parts over. And I honestly think they stole a few new parts that purchased. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER PENNY. These people are costing me more and more money I will be back to see you guys about compensation in regards to the damage you’ve done to my car

Zero out of Ten , Don’t recommend… Went in with a flat tire . Mechanic stated I have 2 nails in tire, they told me $20 each to fill the holes , $30 to patch holes or $50 for another tire. I opted for another tire, they came back and said they didn’t have the tire. They then charged me $15 to put my original tire back on in its original state from when I pulled in after they removed it .

Horrible experience!!! Do not go to this place!! I was quoted a price from two different employees . Once work was completed on my car the lady at the front desk called and gave a completely different price (higher price of course) and then threatened to take the part off my car that they repaired if I didn’t want to pay the higher price that she quoted me although she quoted me the original price ( Yes, the same person). When I asked to speak with a manager she stated she was the manager . When I received the car , it drove exactly the same as when I dropped it off. This place will rip you off. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. THEY CHANGED MY STARTER ON MARCH 9th AFTER THAT MY ENGINE MISFIRED TWICE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I HAD TO CHANGE THE THROTTLE BODY A WEEK LATER. NOW MY CAR WONT START UNLESS I JUMPSTART IT WITH MY BATTERY PACK. I GOT THE BATTERY TESTED AND EVERYTHING IS GOOD INCLUDING MY ALTERNATOR MY CAR ONLY HAS 65k ON IT. I TRULY BELIVE THEY MESSED MY CAR UP I BROUGHT IT BACK TO HIM AND HE TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR REPAIRS HE WASNT SURE ABOUT AND PLUS HE STARTED TO FAST TALK ME AND ONLY SPOKE HALF ENGLISH. BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS

Customer service was genuine customer service; professional conduct and very personable; kept me informed; repair cost with lower than most repair shops cost for diagnosing taken in consideration totalled a seemingly reasonable cost; in same day, out same day. So far, so good; and will allow them to service my car if and when needed in the future, and do recommend for your car repair needs.

They fix stuff not need charge thousands tried to have me get some imaginary part fixed for $2000 but 2020 only needed a $20 brake line they were suppose to fix claim they ordered wrong brake line so they could get $2000.

This place is horrible they cheat fix ghost problems they almost took my 10k a week bizness down to almost zero bc they wanted to charge me $2000 for a part when all I needed was $3 in fluid
