I had an intermittent problem with my engine and other shops would just tell me that they couldn’t duplicate but this shop took time and drove the vehicle multiple times and found the problem I’ve been dealing with for months.

Went to the Hydro location. I have an older car with transmission problems. I explained the concern. Their response, "Well the car is old. To spend "x" amount of dollars isn't worth it. You would spend more than the car is worth." For starters, I know how old the car is. Secondly, I am restoring the car. Cost is not their concern. Anyway with that approach, I will have the car restored somewhere else.

Took my vehicle in yesterday after because my breaks and rotors needed to be replaced, The gentleman that assisted me at the counter tall slim fit guy with brown hair greeted me and my spouse quickly, told him my concern, did a full test inspection which was free literally took less than 10 minutes. Told us the issue left my car there over night came back the next day and it was all good to go! These guys are quick, friendly and the price that I paid for 2 pairs of breaks and rotors was very reasonable! I will be coming back next time when ever my vehicle needs service again.

A little pricey but well worth it. They do a pretty extensive diagnostic test and give you a great breakdown of what the issues are with your car. Really great to work with

Always great work. I bring my vehicle here to get oil changes and also any repairs. They always do a great job, explain the repairs needed and even provide pictures and videos for me such as when my oil pan got a crack. They were able to figure out that when I had jumped a curb and thought it was okay, the vibrations of the car had opened it up a while later. They were fixed it up quickly. I highly recommend them!

I went to Amazing Auto Repair for about 5 years. During that time, they took care of my car and then my partner's car. Every time I took my car in for routine service or emergency repair, the Amazing Auto crew came through. I was in my early 20s when I starting going to them, and I was nervous because I had less than stellar experiences. I never once felt uncomfortable or like I was getting half of the information that I needed. Patrick, Damon, and the rest of the staff are genuinely first rate. These folks are honest and you can really trust their process. Car repairs can be really expensive, but their options for payment plans really made things affordable- especially as someone who has less than stellar credit, I had OPTIONS. During hard financial times, I was still able to get back on the road so that I can take care of my family. The only reason I am no longer taking my vehicles to this shop is because I moved out of the state. Now that I am struggling to find another mechanic where I live now, I realize how unique this shop compared to others in the USA. I will never recommend another mechanic for anyone living in Austin. They TRULY are the best that you'll find. THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH!

These folks are "amazing"! I've brought cars to them I think four times. Very quick, professional, and responsive. On my most recent visit the issue they found was minor enough that they not only fixed it, they didn't charge me! Replacing a blinker bulb that wasn't working. They have my business. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend Amazing Auto Repair. I couldn't be happier with the friendly and efficient staff, the work quality, reasonable price, and clear communication. While traveling through Austin with my teenage nephews, we hit some debris in a construction zone on 35 and knocked off the oil pan, leaving the car undrivable. I randomly called the nearest mechanic shop listed on google and found Amazing Auto. Patrick and Jake went above and beyond to help us out by arranging a tow truck, rescuing us from the side of the road, and even giving us a ride to the rental car office. They repaired my car quickly and dealt with the insurance company, updating me on the progress on a regular basis. They did a stellar job making a stressful situation much less stressful than it could have been.

I’ve been bringing my 2011 vehicle exclusively to Amazing Auto for more than 5 years for all manners of service: routine oil/filter changes, brake replacement, engine tuneups and of course issues related to wear and tear. My car was around 70k miles the the first time I brought it in according to an old invoice I found, and now it has about 160k miles on it and shows no signs of slowing down 🤞🏼but if I do have issues, I know where to take it! I’ve referred countless friends because Patrick and team have earned my trust, something that’s not always easy when looking for a place to get your car worked on. They’ve earned it by not only fixing/maintaining my vehicle at reasonable prices, but also because they’ve recommended NOT replacing things that don’t need to be on several occasions. In an economy where you’d be apprehensive about a shop upcharging you as much as possible, this kind of honesty is truly refreshing! I won’t hesitate to bring my car to Amazing Auto if I need my car fixed, and neither should you!!

I have always been treated professionally and with great customer service, and never felt over charged because I'm a woman. Patrick, Jake. Hopped around shops when I moved here and always had some kind of issue. Friend of mine recommended Patrick at Amazing Auto and I have been bringing my car to the team since. Fair price, great work, and they always keep you in the loop with what’s going on. They are also honest about what needs to be fixed versus what you can hold off on. Highly recommend these folks.

I had a great experience with amazing auto and would recommend them to those with car trouble. The manager Patrick is communicative with you through the entire process with daily updates and informs the customer of each change he is making. The staff at amazing auto are personable and intelligent. They know what they are doing and will help educate you. I will continue to use Amazing Auto in the future, excellent service!

I’ve now taken my car to Amazing Auto Repair twice, once when Valvoline messed up my oil change and i needed a repair. Amazing Auto fixed it for much less than I had expected and gave me additional information on my car without trying to push anything. I took it back to Amazing for my next oil change and again the price was lower than I was expecting and I was given additional information without any attempts at upselling me. I’m very thankful I found Amazing Auto Repair and will be returning for all my car needs!
