I scheduled a brake inspection due to me thinking the brake light was on, they quoted $55. I arrived 10 mins late to the appointment, they took me in anyways then found out it wasn't my brake light, did the brake inspection anyways then only changed me $27.50!!!

I have been bringing my cars into AMC for over a year now, when repairs, oil changes, tires are needed. This shop is my go to for any of my vehicles needs. Manny the service advisor and the owner Gilbert are great, always extremely helpful and welcoming.

Sp I came out to my car in thr morning and my tire was dead flat, I had a plug put in at a random local tire shop in the west valley, everything looked and felt good, I got on the highway and right about 60mph the car started shaking, I took the streets the rest of the way and looked up local tire shops downtown, AMC was thr first one that came up, I went to the BBB website to verify their credentials, and what do you know, they were BBB accredited!!! Super!!! I've always checked with Google first then verify then with the BBB so I reached out to AMC, Manny answered thr phone, scheduled me that day, I brought my car to him after work, I was expecting the worst, well he had good news for me, it seems the guy who plugged the tire inflated it to 50lbs when the manufacturer suggests 35, so Manny advised me of that and told me I need 2 new front tired hut that it wasn't something I needed to do today. He was very knowledgeable and honest, that's hard to find today especially with mechanics, kudos to Manny and thr team at AMC automotive, very rare to find professionals like that today that aren't in it just for the money.

As someone who has come to expect sketchy service and high prices from mechanics, I was heartened to read all the positive reviews and experiences for AMC Automotive. Now that I've been a customer, I can honestly say they exceeded expectations by reinforcing my skepticism. Came in for a few services (front brake/rotor replacement, oil change & ATF flush) but the most important was to diagnose my AC that had recently diminished in cooling ability. I was quoted nearly $700 for everything but the AC, which seemed relatively reasonable. For the AC, which was diagnosed as a damaged AC hose, I was quoted an additional $1,200. I asked them to complete the $700 repairs while I mulled the AC. They weren't pushy and took the time to address all my questions. Later, they even suggested sending the hose to be repaired instead of replaced, which might have shaved $300 off the $1,200. I couldn't get a clear answer on what the AC hose repair and replacement would cost other then $600 in labor at the minimum. Worst was that after retrieving my car from AMC, the AC didn't work at all. Before taking it to them the AC was somewhat cool. After, nothing. Skeptic senses kicking in, I sought out a second opinion. Turns out, nothing was wrong with the AC hose. Instead, there were two seals that needed replacing. $175 and 45 minutes later, there was practically ice coming out of my AC vents, it was so cold. Moral of the story: don't always believe the reviews and always shop around for additional advice.

I don't typically leave reviews, and when I do they're due to exceptional experiences, so buckle up! My husband had taken his car to the Ford service department on camelback road needing a new battery. They said that the steering column was not communicating with their tool so the entire power steering needed to be replaced (mind you, this is on a 10 year old car so the $7k we were quoted to fix it was more than the cost of the car). We were frustrated, since their tool not working was not an actual diagnosis, and we found AMC Automotive for a second opinion. I spoke and worked with Manny the entire time, and he is by far the most kind, honest, and pleasant auto mechanic I've ever come across. He was so honest that he told us to press Ford for an actual diagnosis before coming to him, because that if they were charging us for the service without being able to tell us the actual problem, it was unfair to us (even though this recommendation would have meant potentially less business for him). After I went into Ford and still couldn't get an answer, I updated Manny. Due to my husband's work hours, it was really difficult to try and transfer the car to AMC Automotive, and Manny offered to have me come and pick him up and drop him off at Ford to get my husband's car and take it back to AMC. I was absolutely floored by the offer; I've never had someone be that kind in this industry. And even when I went to pick him up, when he was doing us a HUGE favor, he brought a mat to be sure not to get my car dirty with his shoes. Manny inspected the car and found there was NOTHING wrong with the power steering. If it wasn't for his second opinion, we'd be looking to purchase a new car at a less than ideal time. Even after inspecting it, he told us we didn't owe him anything which is crazy crazy nice!! Manny is an absolute class act; I truly can't recommend him enough. We will be taking our vehicles to AMC Automotive exclusively because of him. I'm so thankful to have had such a pleasant experience. He really saved us!! Thank you so much Manny!!!

A hidden gem in Phoenix. It's a relief to know that a city the size of Phoenix has quality mechanics that treat their customers well. Location is small (& easy to drive past), so I strongly recommend setting an appointment online. Their website was super easy to use, and I received all my confirmation emails quickly. All their pricing was clearly communicated & what procedures they were going/needing to do to get you back out on the road. If you opt to stay & and wait, their open-air waiting room is right there where they're working on your vehicle, so you're welcome to watch them work if you have any doubts! Luckily, I had a small & easy to fix issue, so I was in & out in approx 45 minutes, if that long.

I brought my Saab 9-3 in for a new water pump. The repair was done promptly, correctly and for a very reasonable price. The communication was excellent and I am very happy with my experience. I highly recommend Gilbert and his team.

These guys are awesome. Small spot and deceiving but they are awesome, very affordable, communicate well, etc. I also like that they use all the latest tech to text you your quotes and receipts, which all include pictures and explanations. Couldn’t recommend more.

Manny, Gilbert and the team at AMC Automotive are top notch! They treat you respectfully, fairly and are great at the work they do. I have been bringing our cars here for 3 years now and will continue to because of their standard of quality service they have shown through each oil change, tire rotation and whatever my check engine light throws at them. On top of all of that, their prices are very fair and will keep me coming back for years to come.

Amc has provided excellent service from my Customer Experience to the Servicing of my vehicle.. I appreciate Manny giving a full explanation on bills parts an any questions asked.Even a visual of parts to make sure i fully understand why something needs to be replace then or in the future.
