My daughter brought her Toyota Camry which needed brake service. They check the vehicle give her an estimate and within 2 hours finish the job and so far we have no problem with it the price was pretty decent and was done promptly. Keep up the good work.

I wish I'd brought my car here sooner. I'm still fairly new to Sacramento and started going to a shop that charged me a lot of money and were not very hospitable. I decided to give American Auto a chance and their prices are much more reasonable and they are a lot more friendly. I trust them with my car.

I scheduled appointment from yesterday and leave my vehicle at shop all day and no one pick up the phone and end the day my car the same spot nobody check it just waste time and Uber twice, no tust them no recommended

Overall, the price was higher than in other places (250 to 180), so they overcharged me They did alignment to my 2017 Tesla model S on 6/15/24 I went back to them on 7/22/24 and told that I feel that alignment is not good (the car was moving on the highway without moving the steering wheel, and I felt vibrating in the right front wheel) The guy told me that my car is salvaged and that they did their best (so he refused to look at the suspension) After couple weeks the metal noises came out that front right part of the suspension 8/20/24 I came to other shop for the inspection The other shop found that the previous hadn’t tightened the alignment bolts on the lower control arms (that is why I had bad alignment and metal noises) So I had to do another alignment (again), spent extra time and money After, I got back to them and asked to refund me, because they did a bad job They told me that last time 7/22/24 (they offered me the inspection - and I refused) - that is not truth, they didn’t After the guy told me that they didn’t touch these bolts (then how did they do alignment?) And after he told me that the second shop is not official, and I could asked them to write that so I can be refunded - what?!?! (So he told me - that I did fraud) I spent 250 dollars, than, “I decided” to spent another (40+180=220), to get 250 back?!?! So stupid Finally, he told me that he has a family, children and he needs that money… I mean, I have two children also, and I had to spent extra 220 dollars because they did their job bad!!! I will add photos to prove my words

I’m so happy I found this place. Very trustworthy. Pete and Wakir are the best of guys. Pete explains everything from what’s wrong with the car & on how to fix it and how much it’ll cost. No BS. Wakir is a certified alignment tech. They do it all too…trannys engines suspension and much more ….

Wow I'm very impressed with their honesty & professionalism on how they run their shop. I felt welcome when taking my vehicle to them & how they handle my vehicle with care. If you are sick and tired of shops who rip you off . Well I have the best Auto shop for you to go too & make them your # 1 place you will always take your vehicle to . Hands down & all thumbs up 👍 👍. I am so glad & happy I finally found an Auto shop that actually cares about their customers & their vehicles too.

I've been going here for over ten yrs. now I know almost the entire immediate family 💖. Super nice understanding and best service ever. I recommend 100% I also like that the same mechanics work on your vehicle they don't let anyone touch your car the same person who has the most experience in that make and model.

I went one morning to get my car repaired. A man named Bete greeted me with a wonderful smile, which made me feel comfortable. After I told him about my car problem, he and another person immediately inspected my car. After that, he spoke to me in detail and answered all my questions. He is a really wonderful person and the repair prices are not expensive. Thank you very much. I highly recommend it

This is the only place I will bring my vehicles. They are so transparent and timely. I care a lot about my Denali HD and the techs at American Auto Care know how to work on Diesels and treat my truck like it's their own. Can't thank them enough!

I've been going to American Auto for around 10 years and took my 2015 audi A7 in for an oil change. and i brought my own oil filter and new drain plug but got the wrong oil. and asked the shop Forman to inspect some hoses and to see what was flapping around under the car while driving and to check for any oil leaks cause he worked on my car before and knows more about my car and i asked the shop Forman to let me know how much everything would be but the new shop owner decided to send the shop Forman to lunch before finishing up with my car and then had the nerve to ask me what was going on with my car when I didn't even know yet and refused to call the shop Forman to find out about the hoses and what was flapping around while driving and then the owner decided to charge me double for the oil then what I already had paid but this isn't even about the money it's about the owner sending the shop Forman to lunch before finishing up with my car and then refused to call the shop Forman to find out what is going on with my car to be able to let me know how much the repairs would be and instead he expected me to wait or come back so now ill take my car to another shop to finish the repairs so he can enjoy that little 85 dollars cause I won't be going back and will take my business somewhere else who has respect for my time and money UPDATE: After getting my oil change on 1-21-24, my oil light came on 2 days later, so I thought maybe the shop didn't put enough oil, so I added 1 qt of oil. And then 2 days after that my oil light came on again and this time I noticed fresh oil under my car so I thought my oil leak was getting worse so I put One more quart of oil in my car and then the next day my oil light came on again. So this time I took my car straight to a different shop. And found out that American auto did not tighten my drain plug. And was the sole purpose of my car loosing oil And the other shop did not find any other leaks. So American auto. Almost had to pay for another motor. Thanks to the new owners disregard and respect for me and my car and Had I not caught it in time, and I don't blame the shop Foreman that was working on my car 1 bit. Because he was told to go on lunch before finishing my car. And The owner did not check it. Cause if he did, then my car would not have leaked that much oil.

I took my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in for a Transmission Fluid and Filter Change, Transfer Case Drain and Fill, and Brake Fluid Drain and Fill.. Everything went better than planned! Piero worked up an estimate, ordered the parts and made an appointment. On the appointment day, my Jeep was in and out that morning! Jeep shifts like a dream, and braking with the 37" tires, is pure heaven. Great folks, great prices and excellent work! Next time I need work done to my Jeep, I am coming back to AAC&T!

I was actually surprised and I will never use les schwab again. I have no complaints. These guys were like a well oiled machine. Service was great , price was very reasonable. I purchased 4 low pro 22in Goodyear tires mounted and balanced in 30 min. And I was on my way. 👍👍
