Choosing a mechanic is not easy. Trusting a mechanic is even harder. Hands down this was the best experience with any mechanic I have ever had. Had two cars towed on a Saturday , both were diagnosed and fixed by Tuesday. Prior to this, these vehicles were taken elsewhere and 1500 later we thought they were fixed only to have them break down a few months later. Turns out, The problem wasn’t that big as I was led to believe. And certainly wasn’t a 1500 fix. I was referred here by a friend who spoke highly of their integrity and I must agree they definitely over delivered. I converted all my business vehicles here instantly and can’t say enough good things about my experience.

I recently took my truck to American Auto Clinic due to some shifting issues. From the moment I dropped it off for a diagnosis, the team was incredibly efficient and kept me updated throughout the entire process. After diagnosing the problem, they informed me that my truck needed a new transmission. They quickly ordered a transmission from Jasper, which comes with a great warranty, and they expertly installed it with no hassle. They kept me informed every step of the way, and after driving my truck for a few days post-repair, I can confidently say it's running & shifting perfectly. I believe they cracked my radiator grill though I can't technically prove it. Also, did a poor job on my shocks because they don't absorb anything when I hit a bump.

I’ve brought my car here a couple times now, my dad too, and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Sean is an honest guy - my first time in I had a list of things the dealer said I should fix, Sean and the team inspected my car and said I didn’t need all of them which saved me a bunch of money. I’m always pleased with the work they do and they have fair prices. Pretty quick turnaround too, I think the first time they had my car for 2 days while awaiting a part and then today they fixed my issue in about 2 hours. Really couldn’t ask for anything more, thanks guys!

So I dropped in Tuesday afternoon hoping I might get lucky, but was told five times about their first come first serve policy. I told the clerk I would have to arrange for transport as I live in Los Lunas. I'd be back Thursday afternoon to drop off for Friday. When I got there Thursday afternoon the clerk told me they were taking vehicles for Monday as everybody dropped off their vehicles Thursday morning. He flapped a handfull of service tickets as evidence. Three or four apologies didn't get my work done. Really poor businss model. Glad to hear some of the people who had service there appreciated their work. I won't waste my time and diesel there again.

The person who answers the phones and does your check in at the front desk is the real reason I come to American Auto Clinic. He actually listens to me when I am talking and he answers any questions I have with honesty. It’s hard now days to find an honest mechanic which is why I am so thankful for these guys. They have taken care of me on a few occasions and they always do a great job.

These guys were very professional and accommodating. I only came to plug a flat, so not a lot of work, but they took me in without hesitation and fit me in despite the last minute call. I was able to be in and out within 30 mins.

Took my 2001 F250 in to get up pipes and a Turbo .They did what I asked them to do. Good service! UPDATE- developed a massive oil/fuel leak right after this service. Something was broken or cracked during the Turbo replacement. Was in the process of moving out of state and my mileage went down to less than 8mpg and left a puddle under the truck every time I stopped. Plus the turbo chatter was still there - so the new turbo didn't even help. Called to try to get them to look at it again when I came back to New Mexico for a few weeks, but they said they were weeks out and couldn't schedule me. I had to return across country with the leak getting worse as I traveled - and now down to 5mpg. This truck NEVER had a leak on it before, and this was the first time I trusted another mechanic to work on it. I'm an SAE certified mechanic, but had a knee and hip replaced, plus a back injury, and getting too old to crawl up to do this. I am beyond disappointed with their not standing behind their repair. When I had my repair shop - anyone with a complaint of service took priority. I no longer live in New Mexico - so there's no way for them to make this right, if they would even care to do so. I have to spend extra money locally to start the repairs here. Very unhappy.

What a liar. I drove from Santa Fe. I got there at 7. First come first serve. I was told that they were not able to start my repair until tomorrow. What the f! What a joke! No I was fully aware.
