I had a bad experience, I would not take my car or anything to be repaired again, it is very difficult to trust these mechanics in Trenton, they give you an estimate and in the end your bill is 3 thousand dollars more, horrible experience, had to call police to get a report to sue them! I do not recommend it! but if you have money to give away and it doesn't cost you! be welcome to go there!..

Charged me top dollar to change my plugs and wires put the cheapest wires on did not change 3 plugs bill 11,00.00 then messed my opti spark up had a crack head doing the work

My CV shaft broke and was towed to American auto repair. 1st time being there but these men treated me as family. Fix my car the same day, didn't over charge me and very professional. I even added tune ups and they were kind enough to do it eventhough they were busy .Best auto care I have received in a while , all I can say is God bless Danny and his team.

I've had only great experiences with this shop. They're honest, fair, no BS and they don't try to do get you do anything unnecessary. My car is always ready to pick up next day or the day after. I highly recommend these guys.

Dan and his shop is the only place to go to/I would ever recommend for anyone to get work done. Ranging from a high performance engine build, supercharger install, custom suspension work, interior work, drivetrain, A/C, diagnosing gremlins, helping with wheel setups. Theres nothing I ever threw at him that he didn't solve with excellence. As long as he has the parts your getting in and out promptly. His follow up after the work is second to none also. Cant say enough good things about my experience to American Automotive/Dan. I will be back!

i brought my 2006 silverado in because i had a shifter cable installed by some one else and it wouldnt go into park and i was in a tight bind because i was leaving for a trip to outer banks in 2 days . they replaced the shifter cable and finished in time for trip was charged 438 dollars,but it was hard to shift from park to drive and the rest of the gears. i was told it was the new cable and they sprayed the linkageand was told maybe a problem with linkage.. Ileft for outer banks sat morning and went to put truck in drive and the shifter cable snapped . i had to leave so i had to put truck in drive manually and drive . and get shifter cable fixed at a dealer in north carolina when i got there. when i got back from nc i talked to danny. and he made things right . refunded the money for parts and labor i will definately use him again.
