I have been using Discount Tire and Americas Tire for over a decade now. Every experience has been a pleasant one. Staff and sales reps are knowledgeable and helpful. My most recent experience was just the same except one of the Techs damaged one of my new expensive wheels. They did not try to hide or cover up their error, which I appreciate it. They even went as far as taking appropriate measures, in this case, replacing my damaged wheel. This happened in late April and it is now mid October. Very unfortunate circumstances. The store manager said he would give me a call back and nothing. While I would still recommend this location for a stock car, if you have aftermarket wheels, might think twice and go somewhere where they will take care of your wheel. My wheel was damaged on the FACE which is a weird location all things considered.

Poor service. I came in at 1:50pm to have tire puncture checked, as well as balance and rotation service. I was handed over the key at 4:15 pm and when I checked the punctured tire it was not replaced.

This Rosedale Rd. store in Bakersfield is fantastic. Jordan is a top level service Pro. This is my only choice to for a tire store. The level of attention to detail is needed for my Rivian EV because of the tire type size and as well the way the vehicle is lifted to install tires. I have Jordan as well as Jacob on my contact for Americas Tire AKA Discount Tire.

We usually take our cars to the location on Gosford, but I am glad we went to this one. Shout out to McKae Spinella for finding a solution without delay, he went above and beyond and we were in and out in 30 minutes! Great customer service.

Excellent service from John. I was in and out with two new tires - at a much better price than the competition - because wheel alignment wasn’t forced down my throat - in about 30 minutes. I had visited Les Schwab and was treated like a moron. I was ambushed before I’d even got out of my car with someone noting down my license plate, and was given a verbal quote once inside with no information about the tires, just that ‘we’re looking at $949.59 to replace all four’ - I had to ask all of the questions to find out what options I had, what the brand was, what the mileage warranty was. So I headed over to America’s Tire. John by comparison treated me like a human being, laid out all of my options at different price points based on my needs and situation and we went from there. Zero hesitation in recommending this America’s Tire branch. Thanks John!

Good place to get tires. I like that they only focus on tires so no up sale effort to push other services. And since they only focus on tires, they do that really well. Tire rotation with balance maintenance is also very much appreciated.

I went for a tire pressure check and met Luis, he was very pleasant and thorough. Found out I have a nail in my tire and need to replace the 2 front tires soon. Went inside and met Jordan, he as well was amazing. However due to the fact I was running short on time I was unable to get the nail taken out and its free. I love free!!!! I will definitely be going back to have the tire repaired. I definitely recommend this place. I went back today 5/15 and was so impressed by the customer service experience. I'm so pleased they took care of my tire and I totally recommend this place for your needs. Awesome place

Had a nail in 1 tire and a stem not screwed all the way down on another. The guys there were polite and knowledgeable and seemed to be enjoying themselves. 1 of them was actually singing at times.

I've been customer for America's tire for a long time so I've come in for 2 new tire in the rear which I purchased 4 new last year in May and tire was warranty for 45000 miles and I've put less than 20000 miles on it and it wore out and came in to the store to get 2 new because the other 2 was still ok so I've asked them to rotate the old to the rear and put 2 new on the front but hold on this what they told me they can't do the rotate because my other 2 that I want to keep have too low of the thread which was tall enough for me that I didn't want to replace and when I bought the tire new they have these hammer weights on my wheel which was not ideal for my wheel and I asked them to put on the tape weights on the wheel which was their mistake for the 1st time I bought the tire but again they said they can't do it because the tire thread is too low so when ask for anything they won't help. When ask to prorated the tire they won't warranty their policy anyway because the tire thread too low so they expecting customer to change out tire when they're still new so i will not be returning to this place. It so disappointing after being this company customer for so long PS the picture is tire they do not to service said the thread is too low Update goes in with my metal valve stem cap and one of my wheel got a cheap plastic one when I got home I mean how much more I can take

This business does not place customers first. They close at 6pm and granted i did walk in at 558pm, however, I was walking in for help to get a flat tire fixed. I was turned away and told to go elsewhere... if I was buying tires sure, that's fair to end me away 2m before closing, but when a customer needs help for a flat tire that takes 5 minutes to fix...

Went there to get help with a low tire warning and sat in their "free" area for over 10 minutes, and at least 15 different times, employees walked by and looked at me. Will by tires from a place with better customer service!

Decent price good service. I got 2 tires on the store credit card. I replaced the back tires. The only issue was I had to request that they put the new tires on the front and the old ones on the back because it's a front wheel drive car. And they are really nice when I come to get the air in the tires too.

I have been going to America's tire also known as Discount tire for years!! Always good service their prices are fair and they REALLY are there to help you.. Jordan helped me today he was top notch!! Thank you Jordan!! Btw .I was told my tire exchange would take 45 min .they were done in 30!!

I usually get my tires here. They always have the best prices and will price match if they don't. The salesmen are helpful and not pushy. You can make an appointment so you get in and out quickly!

I went in months ago, broke, frantic, in tears because as a single mother I had to commute from Bakersfield to Ridgcrest for work. I needed tires so bad that my car made that "wob wob wob " sound when driving. My son told me to pull into America's tires on Rosedale and for free they would check my tires. Indeed two are dethreading. No one can help me financially at this time. I'm standing at register with this empathetic person with a great heart, JON, and he's doing his best to get me me the best price.. but I didn't have cents to me at this point. I lost a lot of people in my life and fell in hard times in my career and am a single mom. He went into this office with another good human being and came to ask me if I could wait couple hours because there's others in front of me but that my two new tires will be on and balanced that day so that I can make it to work! I'm asking how? Why? What do i owe? Is this a payment plan?? He was so calm and kind and insisted its all taken care of... but I know he was also thinking of the safety of my child standing next to me im sure of it. He saved our lives. He didn't have to try to help at all. But he chose to try and help me troubleshoot my problem. I'm so Grateful for good decent caring people in this world. No glory wanted by himbut thank you JON 🙏 ☺️ this world could use more people like you.. I hope to find you soon and try to repay if you bought them or celebrate your saving our lives. I'm doing well now in my career, I'm soaring and I wanted to say thank you and tell the whole world what a wonderful person you are!!!!! How you made a choice and maybe even sacrifice for a stranger. You bring me hope in others, thank you!!

There’s a lot of tire shops to choose from but this store does a fantastic job from customer service, to matching prices, to fixing flats for free. Jake is the man over there and always has a smile on his face. Will continue to bring my families cars here.

Had a car inspected week prior & was told the tires were ok to swap onto another car. After driving both cars 50 miles to have the swap was informed that no. The tires are not good enough but I could possibly buy used tires. I will not return to this location. My fault as this is the same location that denied a warranty 12 years prior Edit Americas Tire The store manager (McKae) called me back requesting to speak with me. While I wasn’t going to return their calls, that is not right on my part. Returning his call, he asked me to relay what had happened. After listening he asked “what can we do to make it right” I was still too angry to respond rationally so I stated I’d have to think on it. Factoring in the costs related with 3 trips of 50 miles each way and I still needed tires for the car, he offered a generous deal on some 80,000 mile tires. I agreed, and am now having those tires installed with a scheduled 4 wheel alignment tomorrow at my local shop that does alignments. Americas Tire (Rosedale in Bakersfield) was responsive and reasonable so I’m changing my 1 star review to a 4 star. It’s not 5 as the issue should have never happened and the road hazard warrant added $120 to the cost thereby reducing the comparative savings. Thank you McKae for handling this in such a professional manner.
