I’ve been coming here for years and service is always great. I had an air leak in my tire that they fixed for free. My mom’s car had a flat tire that we bought from here a year or two ago and they also replaced it since it was still under warranty. Shoutout to Brad for the great service.

DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE, they damaged my brothers Mercedes wheels and tried to say it came like that when he instructed the employee NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR ON THE WHEELS THE WAY THEY WERE , and they insisted that the vehicle would be fine, only to claim it was already damaged. No accountability from these amateurs. Must be a new crew fresh out of elementary since they can’t seem to avoid damaging wheels from others reviews

The pinnacle of customer service! Every time I've been here I've been blown away at how efficient, friendly and professional the staff is. Today I went in for a leak and tire rotation, all of which they did completely FOR FREE! This kind of service is unheard of, especially in this industry. Free air and puncture :). Take appointment so no need to wait. For air , you do not need appointment. They give updates when you are waiting in lobby till your are car is getting fix. They explain problem very well so you can take your decision.

Pros: friendly, good service (they actually use a torque wrench), quick service if you have an appointment Cons: most people who came in for tire repair were sold new tires, says should consider buying new tires at 4/32" tread or you'll have hard time stopping your car, no appointment results in several hours of wait

I went in today for a tire repair (got nail). Carlos was very quick to help me out. When he read the thread wear with his handheld device, it showed two 4/32 and one 3/32 on the bad tire. The nail was in the middle. Carlos said I had to change tire and they won't do any repair if thread is below 4/32. I asked if this is a store policy or company policy he said it's company policy. I later pointed to Carlos on the advertisement board inside the waiting room where it says from 4/32, America's Tire recommends changing. From 2/32, America's Tire will not repair a tire. He said oh really, and that he didn't know about that and thought it was 4/32 that they stop servicing. This sounded sketchy to me. But still he couldn't repair it because the tire is not aligned. I asked if the 1/32 matters, he said yes even if off by 1/32 they wouldn't repair because it's misaligned. I am quite skeptical to be honest. Because unless you are in a perfect condition, there is always gonna be a 1/32 difference at some point between the three threads. Plus, that handheld device is a sensor that has its own error. Carlos also warned me because of the misalignment, the 4/32 side is not gonna contact the ground to create friction. Buddy come on, if it's not gonna contact the ground, what's causing it to be grinded down to 4/32? Just emailed America's Tire/ Discount Tire to verify this, since Carlos claimed it's a company policy. If the owner of this store can see this review, can you please confirm such policy exists, and that you must deny customer's repair request due to 1/32 difference? Thank you!

If you don't care about scratches on your car go ahead and use their services: their tire work is just fine. Otherwise, AVOID. I took here my brand new car, a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance, to install all-season tires I bought on their TireRack website. This shop focuses on quantity: always busy any time any day, they churn through lots of customers. It's on a busy intersection, a tiny messy surface lot with customers lining up cars left and right, constantly clogged up. Often they direct you to park your car awaiting service on the side of a busy road nearby with crap asphalt and potholes. They're also remodeling the office, so nobody can get in except to pay and they you wait under a tent outside. At the shop, Brandon checking me in and took my payment, then Ray supervised the tires installation. I mentioned a few things to Brandon (I inquired a bit about how they lift Teslas, torquing and tire pressure to specs, rims have a staggered setup) but he kept interrupting me with a "Sir, we service Teslas all the time, we know this". I maintained a polite tone, I understand he was busy but if he let me finish those few words hat conversation would have gone faser. Ray was very kind: he complimented me on my new car and gave me his word that his guys would take the best care of my it. When they work on your car, they don't put any plastic seat cover (I put one one proactively on my white seats) and when they finish servicing it they will drive it back to you with hands of greasy black dirt. One thing I appreciate, during service, is them using a manual torquing wrench. When they gave the car back to me, the tires looked okay from an installation standpoint. But, the brand new clean rims were now in extremely dirty, greasy and dusty conditions; no clue how accomplished that (just go power wash them, I got told). Upon deeper inspection at home, I noticed a scratch to a rim plastic insert on a tire, and two scratches on the rim itself on another tire (my car factory rims are damn expensive being fully forged). I emailed customer service and the store manager, Brad, phoned me to take my car in so he could take pictures and submit an insurance claim. He said from now on the store was out of the picture and all communication had to happen between me and the insurance. To my question "do you even have standards of care here especially for nicer cars" he stated "mistakes can happen and do happen to everybody, even if you took your car somewhere else". No trace of an apology, after I left them close to $2,000 between very expensive tires and installation fee. Deflecting away liabilities? I even pointed out how there were Porche in the parking lot in front of us. Who cares, right? I have experienced some vibration from the front left tire after their work, and when I brought it up to Brad as safety concern he acknowledged that it could be concerning, then refused to take a look. Why? Because now there is an active claim in progress. LOL! I pointed out that the claim is for purely COSMETIC reasons, and this concern is on SAFETY. To no avail. Ray who had serviced my car told me for any issues to come back... BUT NOT ONCE I POINT OUT THAT THEY SCRATCHED IT? A claim adjustor from Sedgwick insurance reached out to me soon. THANK GOD I had documentation and pictures of before vs after service as proof. My claim adjustor was great: Sedgwick approved the claim after I sent them a Tesla Body Shop quote to fix the scratches, and they mailed me a check. Fun fact: remember Brad who told me that the store would have no say any further? Sedgwick's initial email stated that "This claim is being disputed by the store". Finally, I went to the body shop this week and they fixed the damages. Fun fact: during my visit at the store, a lady who had her car's tires serviced was driving off the lot in her Porsche. Backing out, she badly scraped the bumper of the car against two red concrete poles. She came out, saw the damage, shrugged her shoulders, and went on with her life. This is the clientele that will enjoy getting their tires serviced here.

I’ve been coming here about 4 years now and every single time I get the best customer service, communication on the status of my service, and if you make an appointment, things run even more smoothly! You don’t feel like they are trying to upsell you. I feel like they value their customers. Highly recommend!

Worst Americas Tire branch ever. Avoid them at any cost if you can. First I went there on Friday at 8:10 AM as walk in and got to know the wait time is 2+ hours and they told me if I come when they open it will be done in 30 min so I came on Monday morning at 7:45 AM, checked in and not at 8:40 AM they are telling me it will take another 2+ hours.

Deceptive Pricing Tactics and Poor Installation Quality: My recent visit to Americas Tire in 536 E Brokaw Rd in San Jose was marked by both deceptive pricing tactics and subpar service. And unfortunately, it will likely be my first and last visit. Initially, I received a seemingly reasonable quote for new tires, only to be blindsided with an additional charge of nearly $200 upon arrival for installation. The reason? The original quote supposedly included a discount reserved exclusively for their store credit card holders—a crucial detail conveniently omitted until it was too late. Despite feeling tricked into paying more, I proceeded with the purchase. Unfortunately, the disappointment didn't end there. Shortly after leaving, I noticed one of the tires was losing air rapidly. It became evident that the installation was not done properly, forcing me to return to the shop to have it fixed. The combination of misleading pricing practices and poor installation quality has severely tainted my experience with Americas Tire. Such tactics not only erode trust but also highlight a disregard for customer satisfaction and integrity. Moving forward, I urge potential customers to be cautious when dealing with Americas Tire, as my experience serves as a cautionary tale of what can go wrong when transparency and competence are lacking. One of my tires had a slow leak. It was super easy to schedule an appointment online. The place was packed with people when I got in, but they were super efficient and quick. Staffing seemed to be more than adequate (unlike most other businesses nowadays). I was promptly greeted and processed. From start to finish, it took a total of about 15 minutes! Also, they repaired a nail in the tire for free. I plan to come back for my next tire service.

These guys rock! Even with a long line of people having problems with their tire and the phone ringing non-stop, the workers here can manage themselves really well. Update - Excellent and friendly service Car came out in literally about 15 mins for a tire rotation. I didn’t believe they even did it, but they did. Some NASCAR Raceway stuff going on back there. —- I was very impressed. They offer free cold water and they try to make the best of your situation. There aren't that many parking spaces outside this store so avoid peak hours which is probably the times people leave work early.

i would give brokaw america's tire more than 5 stars if i could HONESTLY! they squeezed me in as a walk-in around 4:30pm on a wednesday afternoon that was like 101 degrees hot. i had a nail in my tire that they patched free of charge! i opted to wait in the waiting area (with AC, free chilled water bottles) and they finished my car same day by closing. super pleasant staff despite how busy and hot it was today. great service and im so grateful!!

I've been coming here for 5 years now, and everyone who has helped me has been so friendly. They have done patch ups for both my car and my husband's when nails have gotten stuck in the tires. Both my husband and I have gotten new tires here with the warranty, which I would highly recommend you do if you buy tires here. They were super accommodating when I asked if the tires on my husband's car could be swapped with my car. We have the same model and tires and are planning to trade in my husband's car. Tesla Tire Patch, 45-1 hour with online appointment. Went in fully expecting 5 hours of waiting, pleasantly surprised. This fix was also free for some reason. Thanks a lot.
