i think some of these guys are too stoned or something. i came and asked for the most affordable quote for my rav and was given a 900+ usd all in quote. i said you might have something better because toyota gave me 800+. guy didnt give me any details and said thats the most affordable we can give i came back around fifteen minutes later because i found out toyotas quote didnt include tax. another guy helped me out and i explained to him and said ill just get your offer. he asked me to sit and hed get back after finishing something. he never got back to me. i line up again and spoke to another guy who asked me how he could help me. i said someone was gonna get back to me and never did. turns out the last guy forgot. this current guy asked me what tires i wanted and then i said i got a quote just 20 minutes ago for 900+ and basically just need the most affordable set at the moment. the guy them said well we have a set here that costs less than 500 all in. what?! out of the ridiculousness of this i said id just go somewhere else. an hour wasted because of this dudes here need better training and quality control

Absolute complete waste of time. Called to see if they had tires in stock - said they did. Drive there to buy said tires, they say they’re out of stock. Go with a different set, guy at the counter says there’s a short wait but in total should take about 2 hours. I check the online tracker which never updates or at least so I thought. Came back 3 hours later and they hadn’t even pulled my car in the shop! Asked to be refunded and was treated as if I was being difficult. Wasted my day off and didn’t even receive an apology for the poor service and waste of time. Highly disappointing, I’ll buy tires anywhere else. Will never return.

I had a great experience. Excellent communication, really fast service, nice people working there. I will be going back. Only issue is that this store does not do alignments. They need to get the equipment, that is a high margin product! But they were great to deal with.

Not happy with the service I received this morning around 10:15am on 12/17/24. I pulled up to the tire pressure check station just as another customer left and thought my car would be done quickly. An employee (I didn't catch his name) acknowledged me, told me to park further forward, then simply walked away. He didn't tell me if or when he'd come back and how long it would take for my tires to get checked. I waited over 10 minutes in my car while a couple of employees stood around. I asked 2 of them if they could help and was told "someone will be with you." Finally a nice gentleman by the name of Joseph put air in my tires but I was irritated at the initial lack communication and consideration for my time.

Rude staff that needs customer service training. Bought tires online. Went in for an install. Person who checked me out said they broke my center cap and would follow up with me to send me a new one. One month later, no call. So I called in and then started to get the run around. Spoke with 3 different people who were all resistant to helping and gave me differing answers and flat out rude. Michael wanted me to drive back to the location to process a refund - it would take me 1.5 hrs in traffic round trip which is more than it’s worth for a small refund. Instead of finding ways to make it easier for the customer, he questioned why it would take that long to drive. Finally, he said I could purchase the part myself and email him the receipt and he would process the refund over the phone. Never heard back. I called back, the next guy said Michael wasn’t available then changed his tune to say that Michael is on vacation then said they can’t process refunds over the phone… totally different than what Michael said. And what year are we living in that it can’t be processed over the phone?? Ultimately, the manager Johnny gave me a refund out of his pocket but why did it have to come to this?

The service person, Michael and the other technicians at Walnut Creek America's Tire were excellent ! Michael answered the telephone with his name and "How may I help you today?" And I knew that we were off to a good start. A person that isn't afraid of responsibility or transparency who is willing to actually answer the telephone and identity himself. Perfect! Anyway, the interaction just kept getting better from there. I made an appointment to get the tires rotated and a flat repair. Even though the shop was busy with every wok bay and the parking lot filled with cars, the staff treated me like I was the only customer that they had. The work was completed efficiently and without a problem. I will definitely consider buying my next set of tires from America's Tire because of the professionalism and quality care the initial sale.

Went to the Walnut Creek store to drop off a loose tire for repair last week. It was during the holidays so I ask what would be quickest. They said it would be quicker with loose tire drop off. I Had my wife pick up tire and the sales person repeated to her the type of truck it came off . When she got home it was the wrong tire and rim. I call not only the regional office in Folsom ca but ask to speak to a manger at store. Store insured me it would be brought to my house. An hour and a half went by and I called again and the manger said nobody told him. What a joke of a place. By the time it was delivered it was dark out and I missed holiday dinner with friends.. Everyone was making excuses instead of owning up to the fact that they made a mistake. Didn’t even hear back from the regional office when they said they would let me know. Got a call from the regional office a few days later and couldn’t talk. Said he would call me back and gave me a specific time and heard nothing. This company needs a lesson in customer service as well as a course in time management. I would also recommend retraining on what tires and rims got to what vehicles.. The disappointing fact that just a day before I paid them 950.00 for new tires and this is what I got in return.. I would give it a second thought before you have them do any repairs.

I always have a great experience at America’s Tires, and it’s consistent across their many stores. That includes their Walnut Creek location. The staff is always friendly and professional, making every visit smooth. Whether it’s for tires or service, they consistently provide top notch service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for new tires.

This place is a catastrophe. The staff are rude, the parking situation is complete chaos, and their processing (check in/check out of customer's vehicles) is ridiculously inefficient. I would strongly suggest going to any other shop in the area before you consider this Walnut Creek location. Don't believe the bull crap on their website that says "...scheduling an appointment will save you time..."; that's something that their corporate marketing team came up with and the statement is not grounded in any truth or fact (I know this because I had already purchased my tires online and I had an appointment; the customer behind me in line had not purchased tires online, did not have an appointment, and needed to discuss her purchase with the employee AND her car was completed before mine). So, long story short; they have competitive pricing on their product, but that is THE ONLY favorable attribute this store has. Go elsewhere and avoid the abysmal customer service and chaotic/unsafe parking lot experience.

Good: no change for tire repair, even if tires not purchased from them. Walk-ins accepted. Job completed quickly. Bad: Numerous attempts to upsell wiper blades (not needed on my car). Scare tactics regarding tire replacement at 4/32. My take: staff is devoted to extracting the maximum value from customer. I will likely not return.

Always takes care of me promptly. Every service technician is knowledgeable, and treats customers very well. I've been bringing my two Teslas in from Oakland for many years. They are next to a great little coffee shop where you can have a drink and snack while you wait.

Bought new tires for my Tesla model Y online, then went in for installation. Excellent selection of tires, prices are competitive, and the replacement certificate program seems awesome. FYI, previously I've gone through Costco for all other tires for my cars. Appointment availability is great and can be booked online. Service was on time/early and very fast. However, I'd give a 2/5 for attention to detail. They left my jack pucks installed on my car, I had to ask for my jack puck case back, they forgot to replace tire caps, and they left a significant amount of tire "paste" all over the wheels/rims. Tire "paste" came off easily with a light wash. They did offer to clean it up, but I felt better doing it myself at this point, given the previous oversights. Overall, I'm still happy with my tires and hope their certificate/replacement program lives up to the hype.

It was on Sept 7. 1. I still can forgive 1.5 hrs waiting time after my scheduled appointment 2. I was getting frustrated when hearing 1 customer complaining about getting 1 tire changed only out of 2 3. I was getting more nervous that another customer asking for refund 4. I got really mad that I got to pump my both new tires every 4 hrs since, then I realized that they did the wrong rotation! I rather go to the one in concord. They are much nicer and professional. Follow up of my case, Michael (I think he is the manager) great person! And he helped a lot and my tire got fixed. 5 star from 1 star!

Your purchase includes complimentary flat repair, tire balance and rotation every 5K miles, drive by air pressure check at your discretion. Make an appointment advised if you want to have an even better experience.

Was only in the store/lot briefly for a tire pressure check...without an appointment...and was very impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of all staff. Despite the heat, it was just such a pleasure doing business with them. Have been there a couple of times before for more substantive service, and will return even though they're a half-hour drive from my home in Oakland.

The gents here is always courtesy. Making an appt online was easy. I showed up for a 9am appt at 8:50pm. They check me right in and got to work to install the tires I bought from Tire Rack and had shipped here. This shop has fixed a number of nail related flats here & did routine rotations for me. They routinely get my car done in about an hour. So much faster than Costco, which almost always take 2-2.5 hours

America's Tire offers free rotation & rebalancing on tires that they sell. I went in to have mine done without an appointment and it was complete in just over an hour. Michael was very helpful friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend them for your tire needs.

Americas Tires In Walnut Creek ,Ca94596 was my hero for it was raining and my rear tire pressure light came on and was 5 minutes to closing time without any issues with helping me get the tire patch, balanced and was on before me even asking going beyond and above Kyle tech and Jake were there to save my weekend staying after 6 pm one hour after closing. @ 5 pm. All done for free they totally made my weekend better must go there and get your tires it’s worth it. Thank you 5 stars keep up the great working hard GustheBus

Called this morning to inquire about 4 tires for my 2008 Hyundai. The man who answered the phone was reluctant to give me a quote for base line tires and he wanted to ask questions about where and how I drive the vehicle he persistently tried to up sale my needs. When I did not want to purchase 4 Perrelli tires (really 2008 Hyundai not my Benz sir) he hung up the phone when asked about the tier of tires that are available. Please be advised that some female customers know what they want don’t assume that all are naive to buying anything auto related.
