Now THIS location on E. 95th street is how you do business. So professional, throrough and attentive. Vivian, the receptionist was polite and informative. My car needed alot of work. They still got it done in 1 day. I'll stick with Amerimex but no longer will I go to the Oak Lawn location.

DO NOT COME HERE A SCAM! Took my car up there they told me my middle muffler was cracked and it cosed $380 to fix. went to another amerimex location they told me my muffler was not broken i needed a part and it would be $160 total for labor and parts. They try to overtax here! DONT RECOMMEND!

I started taking my car here probably starting may of this year, and up until these last two times was great service , I don’t know if the owner still comes in but I came almost 2-3 weeks ago for an oil change took an hour and a half which it has never taken that long, I’m usually the first person there when my car needs to be serviced so that was too long and then I took it in yesterday at 9am for brakes and rotors come to find out it wasn’t my brakes and rotors it was my brake calibers, I’m just getting my car back this morning and then when I got there at 8:30 am , my car still wasn’t ready That is ridiculous held on to my car all day to tell me that, , has never taken that long to do anything on my car that they have done. I hope the boss comes back in and stays because it seems like when he is not there they do not do quick service. That’s why I kept coming back because they were quick , that’s 2 times I might have to find another shop soon if this continues.

Friday Told me after no diagnostics the repair cost would be $5500 bc my intake manifold needs replacing. Forgot to mention, took car in for an exhaust leak 🤔 🚩 Monday after realizing I have an extended warranty. Now all of the sudden “we have to actually inspect the vehicle but warranty company is gonna need proof in order cover the repair. Entire day passes by. I call and am told. We need to read the car down. That’s gonna cost $450 outta pocket Called them and said I’ll come get my car bc my warranty company well thankfully pay for it to be towed. Took it the dealer. Hose came off due to corrosion and reservoir needs replacing. Total $1000 I would strongly advise taking your car here unless u have a minor issue and know for a fact that all that’s wrong.

tried to charge me $400 just for a diagnostic of my vehicle and the $400 not included With repair...$400 only to find problem with my car is outrageous THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DOOOOO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE

I will never go here again. I took my car in for one thing, and it came out with all types of issues. When I told them about it, they told me it was like that already and it was not. They don't have a corporate store . Because of then I had to junk my car a month later cause they messed it up. And they charge a lot for not good service. Please be mindful before going to them.

Too expensive. Wheel alignment for $180. They do better job elsewhere for $50 wheel alignment at Jasson auto repair.

This shop was very good on price labor and time once, now, fuggedaboutit. They like to replace everything related to what you came in for. Scammed and slammed. You been warned.
