I have been coming here for years. As a female its hard to not go somewhere and they try and take advantage of you for $$$. Armandos has always been great! I trust to take my vehicle there because I know my vehicle will be safe when I drive away :)

have been having issues with the drivetrain in my SUV and even though Armando was extremely busy, he made sure that I had a spot for my universal joints to get fixed. When they started taking off the drive shaft, they realized that the auto parts store didn't give me the correct parts. They could have told me they weren't able to do the job, but they gave me a ride to the auto parts store to switch out the incorrect parts for the parts that fit. Abel, the technician that was working on my vehicle was very knowledgeable about the job that had to be done, while about 80% of the shops that I called had no idea what a universal joint was in the first place. The yard is very nicely kept and they have a nice seating area outside in the shade with very comfortable seats while they work on your vehicle. I would like to give a very big thank you to Armando and all of the staff at the shop for having a get it done attitude

Edit: They sold me all 4 tires with flat spots and they said $300 will cover everything, - they did not balance my tires. Good service. Made me smile on a bad day.

Went to Armando's tire shop for help with fixing a dent I had gotten on my tire rim from a debris that was on the road and drove over it. I had been told by two other tire shops "wheel wizards" and "Boss tire shop" that my rim was not repairable. I was extremely upset. Until I decided to give this shop a chance, and I am so glad I did! As soon as I got there, Jason greeted me very friendly and as soon as I told him my issue he did not hesitate to assist me. He immediately reassured me that the dent on the rim was fixable. I was so amazed on the great work they did on my rim. Jason was not lying when he said that he could leave the rim good as new! The rim looked as if it was never dented and with a new tire for an affordable price 🙏🏼🙂 Gracias Don Armando and Thank you Jason for being amazing!!🙂🙂

Went it for 4 tires he told me over the phone I was getting two front tires that were commercial Firestone tires and when we got there he had some tire brand called Ironmans and couldn't leave without getting service as he popped the tires and on top of that he took 3 hours and when it got to the payment he tried charging more than the agreed upon price absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND they should be shut down

Armando, Jason, and grandpa were super helpful and the only tire shop in the area that had what I needed. They don’t try to hustle you for money or to buy new if you don’t need it. Definitely coming back.

I'm a Nut Shell: Good price for used tires. Honest, helpful, pleasant people. Great owner. No frills. ---------------------- Usually you'll find me reviewing restaurants, because I believe a good review helps keep my favorite places in business. Well Armando's Tires deserves your business if you need "new" used tires. Armando probably doesn't need your patronage to stay in business, but you want to give him your business because you'll be glad you did. First, this isn't Discount Tires or Big-O Tires. Don't expect a quiet air conditioned waiting room. Instead the waiting area is outside under a corrugated tin roof shelter on very uncomfortable chairs or things that pass for chairs. There is a big old scary looking dog named Mo but he is super friendly. Update 2023-09-07 the chairs in the waiting area are much better. You're not checking out Armando's for the ambiance though. What you want is to buy inexpensive tires that you and your family are safe on. Maybe you're strapped for cash and can't afford new tires right now, or maybe like me, you just bought a utility truck that you're only going to put a few thousand miles on and you don't want to sink a $1000 into tires. Well Armando's Tires feels like the right place. Armando himself is a hard-working guy and is genuinely customer oriented. I believe that honest people give off a vibe that you can feel. Armando feels honest. Armando himself helped me pick out two tires, going through a stack of 10+ tires until I had two very good tires. They are by far the best used tires I've seen. I paid a very fair price of $150 for each very-good, used, heavy-duty truck tires (225/70r/19.5 load Rating G) The price included mounting and bead balancing. The whole process took about two hrs. While waiting, I was chatting with another customer who told me that Armando, or someone who works for him, (I'm not totally clear on that,) is also a good mechanic. He has been bringing his vehicle to Armando's for over two years and has been very satisfied with work. At this establishment you can speak English or Spanish whatever you're most comfortable with. Armando is fully fluent in both and a really friendly guy. Here are a few hot tips for buying used tires whether you from Armando or someone else: Make sure to check the DOT code on the tires. The last four digits are the week and year the tire was manufactured. Armando will do this for you. You definitely don't want something older than 10 years, and 7 years is probably a good cut off point. Check the tread obviously, but don't forget to check the sidewalls and the part of the tire that seals against the rim. Look for bulges, dry rot, and places where pieces have chipped off. Safe travels to you! PS. As with any of my reviews, Armando didn't know he was getting reviewed until after all the transactions were complete and i asked him if I could take photos.

Bit of a POV; We were really in a bit of a disaster seeing as our tire went out while on the highway, headed to work at the hospital. Needless to say we got our 4yr old tire in after an hour of waiting to be towed but I had ultimately called out of work seeing safety and stability took more priority than selling my soul. That aside, we were immediately warned the spare wasn't going to last and the car needed a new tire promptly. Where we were towed was far from home. Top it off, I have to return to work tomorrow so we needed a fix that needed to happen asap. I want to stress how thankful I am that Armando's Tire Shop was not only open (this all going down after 7pm) but also was awesome enough to help us out in replacing our front tires! You have no idea the amount of bad luck we've been having. Your friendly service is much appreciated and we can't express enough how much this helps us! Thank you and God bless <3

Horrible used tires. I told them you need to throw most of these in the trash, old and cracked. They keep all the tires in the sun and outside. Beware, bad tires could mean your life or someone else's. A lot of these used tire shops have shoddy tires and are cracked, old and unsafe. There's very little regulation in Arizona on used tires. +++++ Go to Anthony's Tire Shop in Glendale They have decent used tires for fair price and keep all tires inside. I got a good deal on 4 matching, name brand, great condition. I recently got a set of two matching like new name brand tires Continental Pure Contact from champtires.com. Found them on eBay but later found they also have own website. Fast free shipping at 60+% off retail. I was skeptical about buying used tires online but they had near perfect reviews. Plus look for 10% discount. My new go to for high quality name brand guaranteed used tires. Highly recommend.

THANK YOU Armondo Tire shop for helping my husband and I with our Truck. We got a really bad flat on the 10 fwy near their shop. The owners son came out to us and lend us a spare so we can go to his shop and get a new tire. This all happened after they closed too!! And I'm pregnant so they were pretty fast and helped us out. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
