I went in for a vehicle inspection. Art had taken care of this car for ten years. Most of you know the quality of work was excellent. Art's is a Certified Master Technician. They still have his certification in the store even though he no longer works there. I went in for a vehicle inspection, which is $20 in the Commonwealth. New owners: To clean headlights, they wanted 2 hours of labor at $125 an hour. I told him at the time I could clean them in an hour with a 3M kit available at most stores. I thought I'd give him a chance since they were new owners. Summary: They wanted $350 labor to clean my headlights and $3800 to fix things that weren't broken. I knew it was b******* so I took it to another repair shop the next morning.Guess what? I got the vehicle inspection and a little extra as a marker light that was out. Total cost= $82.00 instead of $3800. Do not do business at this shop under any circumstances. They're ruining and taking advantage of Art's years of hard work in this community. Don't let them. Get a second opinion like I did and save a ton of money. FYI - Mechanics will back up the front desk on what needs to be repaired so they're in on the fix.

Been using Art's for over 30 years and always received great service. Art's knowledge and repairs are spot on. Never any issues after having our cars/trucks serviced. Please don't retire anytime soon guys!!!

I cannot say enough good about our experience with Art's Automotive Service. Very professional, honest, upfront and simply the nicest people, from the wonderful people taking all my calls to the young man that took my wife to work and picked me up to get the car back. To the manager that settled the bill with me. They give you the highest price up front so it can only go down and mine did. No high-pressure sales. They gave me a list of things I needed and I got the work done that I simply could not do on my own and our car rides amazingly well now. I'm so happy and my wife is even happier. This is our new mechanic for all our auto needs for sure. I 100% recommend this place.

Had to drain oil out after it was changed here. Oil was around 5quarts beyond the 4 quarts of my vehicle. Minor mistake but my overall bill for this visit after other repairs (state inspection) was nearly $2,000.. a bit weird since I was just in a collision and the manufacturer themselves inspected the vehicle.

I was in town and had a low tire and my engine light came on also. My friend has used Art’s for 20+ years so I called Art’s and was able to bring my 2011 Dodge Durango in the next day. It needed multiple things done and all that work was completed within 2 days, which is pretty miraculous. After my 600-mile return home, I am still raving about this operation. Keep doing what you’re doing: keeping your customers informed, providing detailed descriptions of items to be taken care of (both in person and via text), being professional, having topnotch mechanics, and showing genuine concern for your customers’ safety. Chris is PHENOMENAL. Do whatever it takes to keep him. I am your biggest fan, Art’s Automotive.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place attempted to overcharge me. Over $1K for an alternator on an 08 Toyota Camry. Once I refused, they attempted to bargain with me, but the trust was already gone. I suggest you get a few quotes before going with this place. If you don't know any better, they will try to take advantage of you.

Made an appointment online for and oil change the next day (which Is rare) I was very happy with the quick availability and the results. Customers service was A1 and the quality of work was outstanding. Highly recommend Update : came for a state inspection and again outstanding service ! Thanks Chris !

Recently, I had a alternator battery problem with my car I took my car to Arts Automotive and got excellent customer service from Chris And the staff at Arts Automotive is amazing I got above five star service, their technicians refused to release my car until it was Repaired correctly I am retired law-enforcement and I highly recommend Arts Automotive to anybody that needs good service and good customer relations Again, thank you fellas. You did a great job.

Arts was recommended to us by a friend. When we first started going, the pricing was fair, the communication was decent and we would actually see/speak with Art. However, after the last multiple visits, it is clear that something has changed. We have to call them for updates and the pricing is absurd. This last visit (for the radiator that I diagnosed for them before dropping it off) they attempted to charge us $380 for a battery (which ours was still fine. Yes there was corrosion, but nothing 2 minutes with a brush couldn’t fix). Even if it needed to be replaced, I’d rather go to autozone and replace it myself for a fraction of the cost. Next was the radiator, which they quoted just under $800. I called them and asked for them to break down the costs here and they just read the estimate back. I called autozone, got a new one for $172 and did it myself. When my significant other called to decline the other myriad of recommendations from them, they offered her a 10% discount, which would have maybe covered taxes. When I picked the car up, it was like a middle school break up. When I walked through the door the only thing the front desk associate Chris said to me was, “that’ll be $75”. There was no discussion, no attempt to salvage the relationship and he wouldn’t even make eye contact. I paid and he said “I’ll go get it.” Walked out the front door, pulled up the car and said, “there you go”, before walking off through the bay doors. Not only will we not be returning, but the friend who recommended them has stated they will be finding a different shop as well. Save yourself the headache, go literally anywhere else.

I had numerous things done on my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer 6/23/2024. They took my car in and accomplished everything that needed to be done in a timely manner and provided me with a loaner car. Very pleasant and knowledgable staff. I will definitely be using them again.

Changed rating due to they had a family emergency and that's why they couldn't call us. The work and inspection was top notch. Never had any garage give you such a great detail on what needs to be done with your approval before working on car.

Even though Art's is under new management the customer service has not suffered. They even have a courtesy van and the driver was excellent. She dropped me back to my house while car repairs were being done and picked me up when complete.

This rating can change... Dropped off car at 1130am. For an oil change and to check why the check engine light was on. Never received a call to tell me anything. Called at 515pm because it says they close at 530pm. Went to voice mail... I sure hope they call tomorrow with good explanation...

Great service! I went in for my brakes and an oil change. They did a full inspection and made suggestions on areas that needed attention. With their programs they sent a link of the full inspection so I could see all the details. It helped me make an informed decision without having to be there onsite. I'm going back again! Also, if you don't live too far they have a courtesy shuttle...that was extremely helpful for me.

I've used Art's for a couple of major repairs over the last year one of which others failed to get right. They do quality work in a professional manner. The lot & shop are also spacious which I like. They are now my regular shop for all inspections, and repairs.

Wheel Alignment x4 while you wait approx 75 minutes. Excellent in Price, Quality Service, Waiting room, Accurate time management, Professional Technicians, Wonderful customer service! Overall a great experience! IvorF. 10/10.
