Ed is magical. Writing this review after 8 months of receiving service. My AC would not work and I have spent $700-800 with 5 different mechanics and no one would be able to find the fault (or rather did not disclose because it was a pretty labor sensitive task and they dont make enough). But ed without any hassle straight pointed out the fault was with the radiator under the dashboard. Got it fixed for so much less price. Did.not really believe first that the issue was resolved. Hence used AC throughout the summer and it worked wonderful. Will never go to another mechanic ever!! Thank You Ed!!

Five years ago, i moved to Edgewater. The mechanic shop i used closed, and I needed to find a trustworthy, reputable new shop. I looked online and found Arya. The reviews were stellar, and well deserved. Ed and his staff do top-notch work, have incredibly reasonable prices and are always friendly and kind. I trust him to never do unnecessary work to make a buck. He has integrity and is honest. Super nice guy as well. He's a true jewel and I real find.

As a woman bringing a car in solo, I highly recommend this place. As others have mention Ed is honest, straight forward, and does great repair work. In the past, I’ve had men in auto shops speak to me like I was an idiot, here I feel my business and time are valued. Ed has replaced my windshield and done other work over the last few years. It’s like when you find a good barber, you’ve got to pray they don’t close or move 🤞.

I'll be completely honest, I haven't come in to get my car fixed here. But I did call about a pre-sale inspection (time crunch, ended up going somewhere closer) and whoever answered the phone was fantastic! Was super nice and working to fit me in on short notice. Even after I said I couldn't come in he still shared some quick pointers on getting an inspection, state law on warranties and gave me the low down on good and bad dealers nearby. Seem like really stand up guys, must be why they are so busy!

If you don’t know about Ed, let me tell you. This man is the only man I trust with my car. And honestly I’m grateful for him because I’ve been through some crazy experiences with this car and every time I manage to get the car to ed, within a couple days it’s fixed and running strong. This man has pulled me back from what edge with this car. And the only reason she’s still on the road is because of him. I bring him the car on a tow truck and drive it away when it’s ready. Always honest work with can’t beat prices. Thanks ed!

I will go to Ed with any problems with our car. Our super low mileage Chevy couldn’t pass the emissions test. I took the car to Ed and he diagnose the problem, made the repairs, contacted GM because our car should not being having the issues it had, kept me informed through the entire process, and had very reasonable rates. I will always go to Ed for car maintenance and repairs.

Ed is a great mechanic to work with! I typically would dread going to get my oil changed or worry about being up charged but Ed doesn’t do any of that. He delivered honest services and pricing! I would recommend this shop to anyone (Ed was highly recommended to me by a friend as well). For context: I just purchased my first car and wanted to get an oil and filter change. Ed took the time to assess the rest of my car and inform me of anything that looked off / what to do (no additional fees and didn’t try to sell me anything to solve anything). Ed is the best!

For years we have been taking the route of going to an auto place chain that seemed to be serviceable for our 2007 Toyota Prius, but in the last year or so noticed a dip in the quality and speed of service. When they diagnosed a transmission issue they couldn't fix, I looked up local places and saw all the great reviews for Arya A1 Auto Repair. Let me say that after our experience, all the 5 star reviews and comments about Ed and his team are totally deserved. Ed put both my husband and myself at ease immediately, he's easygoing and explains everything without being condescending, and the staff are pleasant and cordial. He quickly saw that the initial assessment of the place that we had previously gone to was actually incorrect and his team inspected and found the correct problem with the transmission assembly. We got a great and fair price for the work - far less than my husband was quoted elsewhere, and everything was fixed. When I noticed something else that came up the following week, Ed and his team kindly took a look and were thorough in making sure everything was working correctly. We started questioning other work that had been done previously, and asked him to double check some of the work. He was more than happy to do so and get things correctly repair items that we suspected were not done correctly for us. Arya A1 Auto Repair got themselves a permanent customer with their professional attitude and work and I highly recommend them for almost any auto work that needs doing.

The service is impressive. Made two repairs, one of which for the front suspension that the dealer could not fix after several visits. 1 year warranty is also a big plus.
