Do not hesitate to take your car to Asian Auto. I had an issue with my Hyundai Tucson. It was diagnosed incorrectly at the dealer with a repair price of $1,200+. I took it to Asian Auto and Kenny found the real issue and had the work done on the same day. Honest work at reasonable prices! Very thorough explanation of the issue as well. Thanks so much!

These guys are honest, fair, and super knowledgeable. Thank you Asian Auto Specialists!!!!! I had my previous trusted mechanic, a freelance electrical diagnostic specialist, and the dealer try to fix my Mazda. $600 later the car was just as undrivable as when I started. Kenny and the folks at Asian Auto got my car fixed right, in less time then it took the dealer to rip me off for $600 and not fix my car at all. When I took my car back from the dealer, they said it needed a part replaced that would take them months to get. Turns out that part was perfectly fine. B/c when I took my car to Asian Auto they actually properly diagnosed the issue and the fix was half of what the dealership was going to charge me for their next boondoggle which wouldn't have even fixed the car. Asian Auto figured out the issue was and a day or two later I was back behind the wheel. Like I said, these guys are honest, fair, and super knowledgeable. No one else in this town is ever going to get my business. Thanks so much guys!

Very friendly, honest and reasonable price. Did all I ask and only did more after he called and talked to me about. Can't bet his price rate for the quality work you receive, 100% top notch. Uses quality parts not cheap stuff you find online. Will definitely use him again if I need mire work done.

UPDATE: I cannot say enough good about this shop! I know all about scheduling and breaking line, but I appreciate more than I can say that Kenny will squeeze us in after hours or take a short lunch to find time to fix something that is extremely dangerous (ex: the brakes went out on my car today) or makes it so I actually wouldn't have a car to drive. I will continue to come to Asian Auto Specialists for everything my car needs! I'm leaving the original review below because it still applies and it's still 100% accurate to how they work! Original review: Love this shop! We will always bring our vehicles here! Kenny does great work and talks to us like human beings - no talking down or acting like we know nothing. He explains everything well and always gives us a heads up BEFORE he starts work. I highly recommend this shop!

After bringing a 2018 Kia Soul from a different shop that quoted $3500 for a new transmission that it "needed", we took it here and explained the symptoms it was having.. they literally diagnosed and repaired a bad sensor in a few hours for 250 bucks. It's been driving fine ever since. These guys are awesome! We'll be doing business with them again.

They are really good at helping you when you show up for a quick diagnostic. Unfortunately, I never received a call back about a timing chain I needed replaced. I was supposed to get a detailed quote the following day to drop off my wife's Murano, and they never called back. I provided my name and contact info still nothing. Since she is a delivery driver, I went to another shop to get it fixed. It's very disappointing since I've went to them for a couple of smaller issues and wanted to give them a chance on a larger job.

These guys are awesome. Great integrity. Great price. Great workmanship. Great Advice on repairs with trying to force anything. And for work they do not do there (occasionally I have something)...They give suggestions to other good places. You guys rock.

Great shop and honest people. My daughter is at UTK and had an issue with her car. I'm 400 miles away and couldn't help other then look for a reputable shop online. Asian Auto Specialists had lots of excellent reviews so I sent her there. Her 2004 Lexus was running rough and we were unsure of the issue. Fearing the worst, it turns out a wire to the MAF was unplugged. They plugged it back in and were were good to go. They also fixed a speed sensor and now the lights on the dash are finally off. Was expecting a large bill when she dropped off the car and it only cost one hour of labor, that's it. Happy to have found this place and will be back if we need work in the future.

I went to this mechanic shop and they were so great. Honest gentlemen and comfortable atmosphere. They treat you with respect no matter your gender. Because I've been to shops where they thought they could take advantage of me for being a female. I highly recommend this shop. My car was already running ok (for an older model). Now it runs like when I first got it! I highly recommend this place.

Kenny and his team are fantastic and incredibly kind. This is our preferred spot for car repairs. Kenny thoroughly explained all the car issues and provided a clear breakdown of the costs for parts and labor, which were also very reasonable.

Fantastic service and experience. This was my first visit. Found them by searching Subaru specialist and took a chance based on reviews. I had a unique center differential issue, not common, and the last place I took it, couldn't figure it out after 3 trys and wrong parts replaced. These guys listened, troubleshot, and solved it, even faster than promised! They also found some other things I was neglecting, which I knew about, but they were so fair, I had to agree to let them fix those things, too! I'll be back!

My neighbor told me about Asia Car Repair. I’m so glad she did ….They have done a lots of repairs for me and they do it right the first time ! They find the problem then give you an a estimated cost of the parts and labor I highly recommend them to all my family and friends .

Highly recommend, once they started working they found that the actual repair needed something cheaper than the original estimate. Super honest shop for being up front about that and saving me money. Any other place could have charged me for unnecessary parts and I would have never known. Really appreciate the honesty and fair prices and I will be back for future repairs and recommend.

i’ve took my 99’ 4runner in there numerous times now because she likes to break, every time i’ve brought it in, it’s been nothing but impeccable service and amazing work that gets done in a short amount of time. don’t go to a dealership when we have one of the best local shops in town!

After being told at the dealer that I needed a new engine for my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage which they said would cost me $8,450, I brought it into Is Asian Auto Specialists. They checked out my car and found out that a hose in the engine was detached. After attaching it again a car worked just fine. It didn't need a new engine. I was impressed with their honesty as well as their customer service. I will always bring my car to Asian Auto Specialists.

I can't attest to work quality but I can attest to the type of people they are. My Hyundai broke down and I managed to drive it there. It was 15 minutes before closing. I left it there and they called me back by 11am the next day. They told me it was the engine and that it likely was covered under warranty if I had it towed to the Hyundai dealer. Not only did they not charge me for a diagnosis, they took the time to tell me what to say to the dealer. GREAT people.

We were visiting family in Knoxville when the alternator on our 2008 Toyota Highlander unexpectedly began to fail - not a great way to spend a Christmas Eve! We discovered Asian Auto Specialists online and the reviews were outstanding. Indeed, Kenny and his crew were able to quickly accommodate the repair of our Highlander on the day after Christmas and did a great job of the repair at a fair price. If we lived in Knoxville, Asian Auto Specialists would be our auto mechanic of choice - highly recommended!

Highly recommend dropped off my 04 Lexus LS430 to get its timing belt, water pump gasket etc. cant beat it’s prices any where else I’ll be back very soon for more maintenance.

Result from Google search for repair near me. Best idea of all time. They are exactly what they say; specialists. After dealing with grayson subaru on too many occasions, I found Mr Kenny and his crew. I have been relying on him to keep my '10 Subaru WRX going with gumption. Through ac work and clutch repair, it's always timely and reasonably priced. On top of that, they are amazingly polite and truly appreciate your business. They actually replaced my engine is less time than it took Grayson to replace control arm ,some lug nuts and studs. In closing, I would unequivocally recommend Mr Kenny and his crew. Thank you for everything you do.

Very affordable and HONEST! Took my jeep in because my brakes were making a noise like the pads needed to be changed. Turns out the pads have plenty of life and didn't need to be changed. Kenny was very honest. Most places would have went ahead and changed the brakes whether they needed to be changed or not. 100% recommend!!

Edit: Another great experience at Asian Auto. Kenny is truly the only person I trust with my car. Their new location in Halls is great. I highly recommend Kenny at Asian Auto Specialist!! This is the best mechanic we have ever used. They got my car done so fast, very professional with great pricing. We will be going back for any future work needed.

They were polite, helpful, and quick. Prices were great as well. Most important to me though I did not once feel like I was talked down to or that they had any intention to upcharge me at all because of being a woman. Wonderful place. Will absolutely go to them again and will recommend to others.

Kenny was great! Fully informed me on prices beforehand, and even diagnosed my car with completely separate issue I had no idea about. I had brake pads replaced, for a very reasonable labor and parts price. Also, had a ball joint replaced, also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming here again in the future and recommend that you do not take your car anywhere else.
