Definitely a honest guy,he told me at first it would be around 230 out the door with parts and labor,when my car was ready he called to tell me he actually got the part for cheaper and it would be 150.car runs great thanks again.would Definitely recommend

Highly recommend Atlas Automotive off of Daimler way in Raleigh. Dimitri is a small business owner and runs the shop. He doesn’t really do much advertising and gets business primarily by word of mouth. His place is a little awkward to get to and off the beaten path but he is honest and enjoys what he is doing. If you are looking for a good mechanic that will shoot you straight, go see Dimitri

Atlas Automotive was highly recommended to my by a friend about a year ago. Since then, I am continually impressed every time I bring a vehicle in to be serviced. I have used Atlas for big ticket repairs and for minor services such as oil changes. Dimitri is fair, reliable, an excellent communicator and flexible. As a woman coming into this automotive shop, I have been treated with respect and fairly with each and every encounter. Amazing customer service!

Atlas Automotive was referred to me by a friend who, who was referred to them by another friend. They are a word of mouth business and are successful because of the honest pricing, diagnosis and excellent work they do. If you like the pomp and circumstance of the dealership or big mechanic shops, this might not be your place. But if you like good people that are experts in their field and take pride in doing what they say and how, this is your place. Where else will you find someone who has the expertise and capabilities to care for your new Porsche GT3 and your beater truck/car with 250K+ miles? Top notch!

Excellent service, reasonable prices and fast turnaround. No gimmicks or pressure to have more done to your car than you need. I would not trust my VW to anyone else. Great communication from owner and a pleasure to do business with. Definitely recommend.

It's really nice to have a car guy you can trust. A friend recommended this place to me and have always been happy with the service I receive here. They take great care of me and my cars and work to make sure I am happy with their service. People like Dimitri let you know there are still people with integrity willing to go that extra mile. Our truck broke down on the way to the OBX for the Thanksgiving holiday. He came with another mechanic to work on it in the parking lot and even offered to bring it to us at the OBX since he was heading that way (in the event he was not able to fix it due to not having the parts). Mind you we were going to Hatteras Island and he was going to Kitty Hawk for his own vacation. In the end, he fixed it without charging an exorbitant fee (which he could have since we were at his mercy far from home on a road trip to the beach). This review is well overdue, but wanted people to know he is trustworthy, great at his craft and fair.

Excellent and honest mechanic, off the beaten path, doesn't advertise. Relies on word of mouth , good feedback and referrals. He's so honest he won't do work ,even if you are determined, if you don't need it. If you can safely get 20k more miles, he'll tell you unlike other shops. TO THE ONE NEGATIVE REVIEWER, curious when you visited and what supposedly went down ? Did you contact him and give a chance to make it right? My bet, is you're like the other 3 that did the right thing in deleting their deceitful review. I bet you've never been there, know nothing of who you're trying to ruin. Please prove you've been there or delete review, I've flagged with 5 different emails. Please do the same, this person obviously doesn't know the good man he's trying to ruin. Let me tell you a bit about who you're trying to sabotage. Not a privileged kid from a single parent household. Was handed nothing, worked for everything Small business owner, lifelong mechanic, from a family of mechanics. Started as a kid in his driveway, worked at other shops and saved enough to open his own. Deserves every single 5 star and the one star is BS and they know it.

The owner was super personable and looked at and diagnosed my car FOR FREE! Super nice guy, gave me honest feedback, and offered great advice on next steps. He said he felt he couldn't accept payment without actually fixing anything yet, but he did show me exactly what he was looking at and what needed to be done anyway. I will absolutely be bringing my car back here in the future and recommend it to anyone in and around the Triangle area!

Great service and I love the owner! He's personable and reasonably priced. My alternator was replaced in a day at half the price that other people tried to charge me. This is great considering I'm a college student, and I'm glad to have this guy so close to my apartment. I definitely recommend Atlas.w

Demetri is fantastic, welcoming and working with him has been a pleasure. I have a yellow beetle that has been having a hard time with wiring and battery and he has been able to deduce and problem solve the issues I was having. Great!

Moved to Raleigh recently and was worried about finding a mechanic who wasnt going to rip me off. A friend suggested Atlas and now i wouldnt take my car anywhere else. Demetri is the antithesis of BS. Take you car here for an honest, and affordable price.

Recently had a nightmare Check Engine Light diagnosed & repaired by Atlas. Atlas ran several very thorough diagnostics, and procured a *very* inexpensive solution to my car's problem. I came away impressed with Atlas' experience, honesty, and professionalism. After many months of hassling with other mechanics and dealer service departments, my car is fixed thanks to Atlas. An aside, Atlas may be the only mechanic that I have ever done business with that doesn't jack the seat back (ala a 'Victorian courtesan'.) Cannot express how refreshing and unique it is to pull away from a repair without dumping the contents of my wallet out on the counter AND without having to recalibrate the seating position back to a 'grown-up' position.

If you are looking for a mechanic who does GREAT work every time and actually cares about your car you need to go to Atlas Automotive. The owner does high quality work at a very reasonable price. I have been to a lot of mechanics in Raleigh but none of them come close to Atlas! I will not take my car anywhere other than Atlas from now on.

Great place! Honest, competent, timely, and professional. Takes the time to explain problems and repairs. Excellent prices. Basically everything you would look for in an mechanic. Best repair shop I have ever been to. Definitely worth a drive to get here. I would use this mechanic again.

I would NOT recommend Atlas to anyone! I had several problems with them & then they stole my gps system out of my car. Beware, they are thieves!!!
