The dreaded engine light went on in the Toyota Matrix and our mechanic said take it to the dealer. The dealer wanted $200 to access the issue and most wanted about the same. I knew the issue was related to my trans so I called ATS since several people at my gym recommended them. They did an amazing job for me. My car drives like new. The only issue, ATS is VERY busy and there could be a wait, but the wait is worth it. Very knowledgeable and honest. Highly recommend.

A brand new transmission shouldn't have any kind of dust, dirt, sand, or anything inside of it besides either gear lube/oil, or transmission fluid. A friend's transmission after starting to make all kinds of strange noises from only daily road, not any at all off road driving. Upon farther inspection, draining and straining of the fluid there was what looked to be either dirt, sand, or something on the sort in the fluid. Even though ATS did fix the issue at more of a cost to my friend which shouldn't have been his fault as they ATS tried saying it was, it's just really unfortunate that it was handled the way it was. I personally wouldn't recommend getting anything fixed or replaced by ATS.

Best place for transmission service Just had my transmission flushed and added new Mobil 1 synthetic vl fluid. It is a 6 spd and what a difference it makes, smoother shifting, and no clunk,jerk or harsh shifts. Thanks ATS for a job well done.

Haven't went in for my appointment yet, but these guys were amazing in trying to help me over the phone! I have NEVER had ANY shop let alone a transmission shop try to give me ANY advice over the phone! They wanna charge a RIDICULOUS amount of money just to give you a few sentences of advice.. but not ATS! They stayed on the phone with me for a half hour trying to help me even if it resulted in them not making money! Not to mention their diagnostics is WAY cheaper than ANY shop I've EVER heard of! I will update after my appointment if anything changes.. but at this point I give them two thumbs up!

Honestly one if the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. I had a 1996 chevy 1500 with a 4L60E transmission that needed replacing 3 times within 10 years (between 2004 and 2014) because if these guys. The second time, it was clear the trans was ripped out of the truck, as they snapped the dipstick tube in half and the bracket was as well. And of course, each time it was just out of warranty. I ended up installing a salvaged trans from a local junkyard, which held up longer than any of those rebuilt ones. I have told everyone I know to steer clear of these guys. Please be aware.

Horrible service, I would avoid at all costs. Told me 5-10 days. It ended up taking 30 days to get my vehicle back. They ordered wrong parts 3 different times and failed to notify me I always had to go out of my way to call and get info. I was suprised that when I asked for manager I was told "there isn't one" when I asked to speak to owner they said he was really busy. Didn't seem to care about customer.
