Jason and his ATX Autosport team are absolute pros. I have been thoroughly impressed with their work, thoroughness, and communication from start to finish. I bought a vintage truck online from a reputable seller on a popular auction site. The truck ended up being not what was described and the seller enlisted ATX Autosport (local to me) to repair it. The list of items wrong was long and quite ambiguous. It ranged from “vibration under acceleration” to a massive fuel leak to a failing spark plug wire design and many items in between. I was in an interesting position, as the owner of a vehicle but not the client paying for it. I outlined all of the issues and Jason understood that I was looking to have a vehicle that was safe to drive my family around town in. With each step of repair, it required Jason to spend some time driving the vehicle to see what was fixed and what needed further attention. By no means was this a straightforward repair. It took a few months to complete all of the work. Through each step of the way, Jason provided updates that I would consider far above expectations. I felt like he didn’t need to do this level of detail on his updates but it proved to me how well my truck was being cared for. Ultimately, the end of our relationship included a less than smooth vehicle transport to my new home, out of state. We had some hiccups getting the right carrier to move it and, again, Jason made it happen. He took extra time to make sure the vehicle was treated right and properly shipped out to me. I am very grateful for him and his team. In this new world of cutting corners and finding ways to pad your bottom line, I’m thankful to find people like Jason @ ATX Autosport. I recommend them, without any hesitation.

New to Texas I was seeking a qualified mechanic to work on my 2005 Boxster S. Jason and crew did a clutch and rear brake replacement, keeping me posted on progress and charging a fair price for the quality repairs. I didn’t have to wait for parts, and the overall process was easy. I’m very happy with the results and have breathed a sigh of relief to have a trusted mechanic to service my car here in Austin. I highly recommend this business for anyone with a finely tuned European sports car.

ATX Autosport is awesome! Fantastic service, extremely knowledgeable, and honest. I reside out of state and needed to have a PPI done on a Porsche I was considering purchasing in Austin. The inspection was extremely thorough and well put together. I highly recommend them!

This is the best sports car shop in town! Jason & the team are experts in their field and treat their customers personally and with a high degree of professionalism & honesty.

Only the best! I've had maintenance work done here and aftermarket parts installed. I have 100% trust in these guys and I always lean on their recommendations. Evan and Jason are knowledgeable, friendly, and communicate effectively. I never want to take my Cayman anywhere else. *Side note: FVD Exhaust that they recommended and installed is amazing - brings a smile to my face every day*

ATX has been my go-to shop for ~1 year. They did work on my first P-car (1999 996) and on my current P-car (2002 996). I selected them to install the LN Engineering IMS retrofit kit on my '02. They have been helpful in analysis, documentation (including photos of the IMS work at various stages), and advice. They even pointed me to another independent for interior touch-up work who also was talented and high value. I recommend the team for any P-car work - I've always been comforted by the numerous higher end cars in their shop. I recommend you get to know Joe and Jason!

Jason, Evan and the ATX Autosport crew are 100% Legit. Even when I annoyed them all week with my checkins, Jason would update me on the status of my car, explained all options and the work they were going to perform and what I should keep an eye on. Their shop is awesome and it's evident that they know what they're doing. Definitely will be taking my Cayman back here for regular service. Although a little pricier than other shops, I value quality over cheapness and these guys do not disappoint.

ATX Autosport will be the only garage that will touch my GT3. Ask for Joe or Jason.

Had my Cayman for sale a few weeks ago, buyer wanted to get PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done at ATX Autosport. I had heard of them when searching for an independent Porsche shop in the past and had spoken to them a couple times for some advice and quotes and they seemed really helpful and friendly then. Dropping off the car for the PPI was first time I actually visited their shop though and just one look at the lineup of aircooled & watercooled Porsche beauties including a few GT3s and there was no question, these guys are running a top notch operation. Left the car with them and they were great in keeping me informed on status of the car, when it would be ready to pickup and also giving me an overall summary of their findings on the PPI (buyer paid for it so would get the full report directly). When I went to pick up car in the afternoon, it was just about closing time but Jason spent a lot of time with myself and a friend just talking Porsches, and showing and telling us more about various models they had in the shop. My car was under warranty so typically went to dealer for most items but if I ever have need to go to an indy shop, these guys would be it hands down.

ATX Autosport, Joe & Jason, are fantastic! If you are an auto enthusiast and care about every aspect of your car...ATX Autosport is the only place to take your car. My experience: -2010 White Porsche Boxster Base, 55k miles- A few months after purchasing my first Porsche the service light came on, as well I had a few small annoyances I wanted taken care of. Obviously a 2010 Boxster is nothing compared to the other cars I saw in ATX Autosport's shop - classic BMW 3.0 CSL, Porshce Turbo's, Porsche GT2, Ferrari, and the list goes on. But Joe treated me like I was the most important person, his number 1 customer! I told him my service light came on, my windshield wipers crapped out, and white smoke would occasionally puff out upon start-up. A few days later my car was ready and Joe took me through the entire job, step by step, in his office. He spoke as if this was his car he took care of. He talked about all the extra steps he took to clean up the car, take off the bumper get leaves out of the radiators, cleaned my brakes, fixed the convertible top which wasn't closing properly. Most importantly Joe did NOT replace the oil separator regarding my white smoke issue. With his knowledge he explained that this is normal for Porsches. And if my check engine light hadn't come on, and the smoke only lasts a few seconds there was no need to replace anything. *I feel like this was the number one reason I am staying with ATX Autosport* Any other shop would have replaced that oil seperator and charged me extra so they could make an extra buck. But Joe understands the value of a long-term relationship for both he and the customer. Eventually that oil seperator will have to be replaced, but now I will be back at his shop to fix it. And he now has a customer for life. A few reasons why I will be a customer for life and you should too: -Customer service - Get treated like you are their only customer. Have things explained to you on your knowledge level. There is no feeling like you are getting sold to here. These guys look out for your car as if it were their own. -Care & Craftsmanship- Unparalleled service. These guys know their stuff and will go from bumper to bumper making sure your car is always in tip top shop. Because nothing else would satisfy you, nothing else satisfies ATX Autosport. Thanks guys! AJR Edit

BEST PURCHASE INFORMATION EVER: I'm helping a friend with a purchase of a used 2012 Lamborghini Gallardo. I called around and found that there are few people in Austin that can service a Lamborghini. If he buys the Gallardo he would have to take it to Houston or Dallas for cert. service. I contacted the 2 service locations in Austin (ATX was the only one to get back with me) and these guys went out of there way to describe in detail what to look out for in the purchase of this expensive car. They broke it down into 5 bullet points. These are questions I would have never thought to have asked. I will make sure that this car gets its services done at this establishment. Thank you Joe Leggs for all you did. Mg

Joe and his crew are great. I've had some not-so-positive experiences with mechanics in the past, which has in-turn made me a bit of a mechanic pessimist (yeah, I know, I'm THAT customer), but my experience with Joe was flawless. He was responsive, respectful, honest, and truly talented. My one experience with ATX Autosport has created a customer for life (or at least as long as he's willing to put up with my car(s) haha).

Not being a car-savvy person makes it difficult to find shops which understand (my lack of understanding) and that I feel I can trust - especially since I'm new to the area. I was incredibly fortunate to find ATX Autosport close-by. Joe understands that, although I don't know much about cars, I want mine to drive well, and patiently explains current (and potential/future issues) in language I can understand. On my last visit, a component unexpectedly broke the night before my appointment, and Joe was able to source parts quickly, as well as work with me to get keys back in my hand by the next day. I'd also like to thank Tim and Jason. When I dropped my car off, Tim gave me a ride so I could get back to work. When I picked my car up, Jason provided additional instructions and a few things I should look out for. Thank all three of you. You guys are awesome and I appreciate the way you carry yourselves and operate your business. ATX Autosport far exceeds my expectations.

I can't recommend ATX Autosport with higher regards. You can tell right when you walk into the shop these guys are passionate about what they do. They have a high level of transparency throughout the entire process, keeping you informed via pictures and email as to what they're doing, potential next steps, etc. To top it off, they have an uncanny sense for customer service. I feel really lucky to have found this shop. ATX Autosport is the best-kept secret for Porsche owners in town!
