Always so helpful and kind! Recently, despite their tight schedule, they allowed me to come in for a last-minute service. I feel lucky to live nearby and highly recommend them. Both the owner and his wife are wonderful people.

My family has been using this car mechanic since the change in ownership for all of Hondas. Prior to the incident I am about to discuss, I would have given this place a 5 star review- however- no longer. My elderly parents went to drop off their car due to a (what as assumed) battery issue on Saturday. My mother called on Monday at 7 am to see what the status of the car was. The owner was a level of rude never before seen. My mother, who is a patient woman, decided to call back in the afternoon since clearly something was “off” with the owner in the morning and he was speaking to her as tho she was a piece of trash. When she called at 2 pm, the call was even worse. The owner proceeded to scream at her, berating her, telling her to stop calling since she was annoying him and he was unable to work. All of this, just for her to try to find out what the diagnostic was, only. Now, we are Polish and unluckily for this owner, my mother has a daughter with a temper who does not like seeing people treated poorly, let alone those who are older and may be a bit afraid to stand up for themselves. Here is a message for the owner: If you want people to come back to your business, you do not verbally assault them on the phone. You do not treat people like garbage regardless of how bad of a day you are having. Keep your eastern European temper checked at the door. Believe me, this won’t be the only review that I am writing, and I am not going to stop here. If you are getting people so upset that they are worried that you will damage their cars while you hold them in the shop- you have a problem. And that is exactly what occurred. Save yourself any potential issues and go elsewhere. The owner has a lot of growing up to do, and I find this ironic. In response to the owners message below, don’t berate the elderly who call twice. You didn’t charge her since there was nothing wrong with the actual car. And you felt guilty for berating the woman. When you finally did call about the car late Monday you literally said “why are not calling about your cars update.” Next time be an adult man and not infant child and use your big boy words to apologize.

I used this mechanic for years, but recently this place has gone down the toilet. He quoted us for work that our car didn’t even need and I had to get a second opinion. It’s a shame what happened to this once reputable mechanic.

I took my 1978 cadillac seville in for a bad brake line. They didn't try to upsell me anything. They replaced the old brake line and have not had an issue since. This was done last summer. Would definitely have them work on my classic moving forward

Last min call in and got a quote instantly. Good price and same day service had me sold. I usually wrench on my own car but due to being in the rust belt some things u need a mechanic shops help with. Im glad i came across Austin auto repair, it was a delight doing business w/ them and i will keep them 1st on my list for future repairs when needed. Thanks Steve.
