Came in for an oil change. As usual, very prompt service with an appointment. Reasonably priced. Also found my oil leak, a rock hit the oil filter and cracked it. They found a couple of items to keep an eye on also. Thanks, Bill

These guys were absolutely great. Morgan helped get my truck to the shop when it dumped radiator fluid all over the parking lot. They had it fixed and ready the same day so I didn't miss any school days. Even with the parts being oddball they made it happen and were so kind to help with the affordable bill with a discount for teachers. 100% will be recommending this shop for auto service. And I'll probably use them again.

It seems that their appointment form on the website is broken. I didn’t get a call back or an email in response to my booking request, and when I decided to follow up, I got a reply from someone named Melissa. Instead of solving my problem, she accused me of being rude. According to her, the rudeness was that my email, sent in response to an automatic confirmation message with the question 'will you reply to me or not?', was automatically forwarded to her. This lady thought that I had nothing better to do and found her email to write to her without any reason. After a long conversation, where we finally figured out that the problem was on Austin's Automotive Specialists' side, they didn’t even say 'sorry' but just informed me that the date I was trying to book was no longer available.

I’ve used Austin Automotive Specialists for work on my Sienna and S40R. Melissa and her team are amazing. Super helpful, knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly. Couldn’t be more pleased with the work they do and advice they give.

Very disappointed with this shop - from the repairs not done right to my truck getting stolen from their shop . Why ! Because they left my keys inside the truck. And the insurance is only willing to cover the blue book cost … I’m still making payments on my truck and now repair payments for a truck I no longer have !!!! I had to give a store just to get this story out

Austin automotive- if you are looking for a shop to help with your car and not wanting to feel cheated or scammed. This is the place to go. I was thinking that my breaks needed to be replaced. I got a couple of quotes and their prices are competitive. I brought my 08 ford in and they called to let me know my breaks don’t need to be replaced. They allowed me to adjust my services and provided a new quoted price. I am feeling satisfied and like my vehicle has not driven this well before. I used brake check last time and my vehicle drove the same as before getting the breaks replaced. I am a 26 female with little automotive replace/repair experience. I really love working with this auto repair shop. They are always really responsive and explain clearly what the car needs and why. They let me know what is coming up 3-6 months out so that I can plan for the cost which is a huge help.

Melissa, Eddie, and the team have earned my family's trust over the years, and I simply won't take my cars anywhere else in Austin to be serviced. Just to prove the point, when I saw the check engine light on one of my vehicles last week, I paid AAA $70 over what was covered for towing just to get the car to this location. As always, they were quick, efficient, and courteous, and got me back on the road in no time. Can't recommend them enough!

I am new to Austin and was looking for a repair shop to help me with replacing my drive belt. I called 1st time to hear their quotes, 2nd time to ask about their parts, and 3rd time to make an appointment. Each time I spoke to Melissa was rude and condescending. When I politely mentioned how she was talking to me, she got defensive and said that her reviews spoke for herself and that I can take my car somewhere else if I’d like. She incorrectly said that I called 4 times about a drive belt and that it is unnecessary. She said that next time I should preface that I’m “new to car things” so that they can “use kid gloves with me.” My car is older so I’ve had to do many, many repairs on it and no shop has ever had someone talk to me so rudely and demeaning. I tried to explain that I understand they may be busy but I didn’t really appreciate how she was talking to me. I had to end up hanging up the phone because I was not receiving decent customer service. Taking your car to a new car shop can be hard and you want to make an educated decision before you do that without being belittled or given attitude for asking questions and getting information.

I cannot say enough about this business! They have taken care of me, with both cars I’ve had. When I had my Ford escape, they replaced my turbo at such a low cost, and the best price for parts. Recently I brought in my Honda fit. It just needed a couple bolts for an hanging skid plate, and they took care of it completely for free. They are fast, efficient, and so kind. They will never take advantage of you, and you can leave knowing you and your car received amazing service.

I think I finally found my automotive place! Needed brake work badly on my vehicle . Had the work done the same day I came in . Melissa was so very nice and helpful answering all my questions and Kihl did a great job on my brakes. He was so fast and efficient! I felt so comfortable there and I am extremely happy with the work done. Thank you !!

This was the 2nd time I used this shop to deal with a suspension issue. This time was more straight forward, but their commitment to excellence remained on full display. Trustworthy and capable is how I see them and would recommend them to anyone.

I was recommended this place by a coworker, and I appreciate this place’s honesty, courtesy, and integrity so much! Melissa at the front is kind, knowledgeable, and you can tell this place has repeat customers for a reason. Highly recommend to any woman who has had previous poor experiences at other mechanics - this location will give you hope for your car maintenance needs once more!

Melissa and her team are great. Called about some repairs that needed to be done, and they recommended I come in to have an evaluation on my car. They showed me everything thing they were talking about on may car and that ultimately the previous service company was not being completely honest about the repairs. They were able to identify true safety and maintenance issues for my car and didn't try to upsell maintenance that didn't need to happen.
