These guys are really cool and very honest. I took my van to them for the second time. because I lost Power on the freeway I thought it was gonna be something very serious, but it turned out to be an empty gas tank. Instead of charging me some ridiculous price for work that they did not need to do. They were very honest and got me out of there for 100$ Diagnostics fee and some gas. Anthony was great. I trust these guys 100% and will bring all of my vehicles here.

The folks and service at Austin Auto on Parmer were lovely, extremely thorough, and fast! They were also super helpful when it came to making suggestions on what could be done at a later date (cost efficient decisions, while ensuring the important parts got seen to). Anthony was responsive and very kind. I will assuredly be going back there again!

Blake is amazing! He went to work for me and found the best deal on a transmission and not only honored the pricing a month after the quote but has been so caring and helpful to someone that knows zero about cars ! I never felt taken advantage of and most importantly was treated so kindly that i wasn’t intimidated to ask “stupid” questions. Thank you again Blake and the Austin Auto team- yall have no idea how grateful i am towards yall!

I love this location. Everyone is so kind and compassionate, though, I look forward to the day when female mechanics are hired. But they are honest and don’t try to steal or upcharge you. They want what’s best for you and your safety. 🩷 you won’t regret coming here.

I took my car in and shared what I thought was wrong. They checked and agreed but took the time to point out other issues. They rated each issue on whether it needed to be done or may wait. At no time did I feel pressured to have services done that did not need to be done at this time. The work they was done professional. Follow up I had to take the car back in because the welds did not hold. They rewelded but when I took it to their shop in Round Rock it failed inspection because the welds were allowing exhaust out. I will have to take it back again.

The actual service was great and they got what I needed done. I just would’ve liked a little more communication on the length of time it would take. I dropped my car off Friday at 11am and was told my vehicle would be ready by 3pm. I didn’t receive a call with any updates by EOD Friday. I called myself Saturday morning for an update and was told they should have a diagnostic ready by 11am saturday. What was the point of me leaving it there friday then? After the diagnostic was done, service was great. Like I said, a little more communication would have been appreciated. I understand everyone is busy and it may have just slipped through the cracks.

The staff at Austin Automotive are all pros. I was relieved to find them after my mechanic of 20+ years closed his doors a few years ago. The service managers and advisors here are knowledgeable and friendly. Blake is particularly professional and kind. I watched him respond with patience and quiet grace to a demanding and unreasonable customer yesterday. The prices are reasonable at Austin Automotive, and estimates are color-coded, making them easy to read. (Red = fix it now, orange = fix it soon, yellow = we'll watch it, green = all good). The technicians work quickly and efficiently. Yesterday morning, they finished up 45 minutes earlier than I expected. Nice job, guys! Like I said, glad I found you.

This place helped me out of a tight spot a couple months ago. I really needed my brakes changed and they were able to fit me in. They didn't pressure me to buy things I didn't need, and they didn't overcharge me. Everyone was super pleasant and up front. I would definitely go back here.

To get tire rotation & oil change, I spent $552 at this place. Because they suggested me to get MOC fuel injection service cleaning service. They said “your car mileage is 27,000 and it is Volkswagen brand and recommended to take every 2 years. Also, they recommend me to get Air filter change and took $130 for it. They tried to sell unnecessary services and make profit from them. Actually, before today visiting I thought that they are trustworthy place. However, not any more for me. I attached the record of payment for today’s service. I hope it can be helpful for people who visit this place.

Anthony & Blake are amazing, I was scared to bring my car in after a bad experience with another shop. I explain to Anthony what was going on with my vehicle took them a day to figure out the issue, he didn’t try to push me into fixing other parts that do need attention soon. I had my car towed to Austin‘s automotive as it was shuddering and feeling like it was about to stall. I called the next day as my car was delivered after-hours, and they did not have time to look at it. I called the following day and they sent me an estimate in the afternoon. To begin with, they charged $159 for the diagnostic evaluation. Going rate for diagnostic evaluations in my area at other auto shops is $99. In addition, they were not going to apply the cost of the evaluation to the work that needed to be done. The norm is that diagnostic fees are applied against the total cost of the service performed. They determined that my car needed ignition coils and spark plugs. I have a 2010 Nissan Altima four-cylinder. They wanted $922 to do that repair. In addition, they cited that my oil needed to be changed and my engine flushed. I had literally had that service performed, only 2000 miles ago. My oil was neither dirty nor needing to be changed. However, they wanted to charge me close to $200 for that service. My air filter did indeed need to be changed and they wanted $39 for that service. In Total, they were asking for over $1400 for service to my vehicle. Now I may be a woman with little knowledge of cars , but I know when I am being ripped off. I had my car taken over to Three Points Automotive and they charged me a total of only $627 Parts and labor, including the air filter. Beware of these scammers!! That is unless you like paying for services you don’t need and being charged ridiculously high prices.

PLEASE SEE MY RECENT EDIT FOR THIS SHOP BELOW. Robert and Coy are perfect gentlemen. So very kind, patient with a ton of questions, thorough, and professional. This shop is honest as well, sadly, one of the very few shops remaining that actually do the work in a quality and guaranteed way! They are men of their word! THANK YOU! I live in El Paso but entrust our auto repairs for my dear son, an Austin resident, with these men. They take care of my beloved son’s truck which blesses me very much. Don’t ever take your vehicle anywhere else. These guys are clearly the very best! Thank you, again, Robert and Coy! Blessings to the all of the Austin Automotive pros!!! SUBSEQUENT HUGE PROBLEMS WITH THIS SHOP. All related to squeaky breaks on my Nissan Altima. Inspected and estimated over $1200.00 to repair. Sounded weird and deceitful. Took it to Pep Boys for second opinion. Changed out the break pads adjusted tested and charged $169.00 parts and labor. I’ll never go back there.

Unfortunately, terrible experience. I received misinformation, wait time was estimated between 3-4 hours and I ended up leaving my car overnight and still having to call for updates since i received no updates on my car’s status otherwise. They continued to misspell my name, changing it completely twice, even though i had written it down for the appointment (that did not get confirmed until i called to check in) and once i arrived. I paid for the check up that ended up being 1-hour of labor according to the receipt, in spite of having to leave the car overnight (from 7:45am Monday until 4:30pm Tuesday).
