I've had two outstanding experiences with Simon & Auto Body Garage. 1. Integrity: Over a decade ago I had my, then, new car's windows tinted at the company that is now Auto Body Garage. They had warrantied their work for a lifetime. When that tinting started to fail, I called to see if they would honor this for a replacement. I learned that Simon had acquired the business and no longer focuses on window tinting, but would still honor the warranty. He came through and paid for my new window tinting with a different company. Wowzers! 2. Competence & Quality: Per my first experience with Simon, I decided to reach out to him for an estimate on some cosmetic repairs for my aging car - a little nip/ tuck. Literally, the day after I met with Simon for this estimate, I was hit by woman who had lost control of her car (confusing the accelerator for the brake). No kidding - I can't make that up! Also, I was leaving the country for 5 weeks in 3 days. I called Simon with a much bigger repair inquiry and boy did he show up! While I was out of the country with very limited phone service, he gracefully handled the repair, communicated progress with me and managed the insurance company. I returned to a better-than-before car. It was such peace of mind! Also, his crew was very open and personable when I interacted with them - rare for an auto body shop. Bonus: Simon is constantly fielding calls and meeting with people, yet somehow manages to keep all the balls in the air – a masterful multi-talker. When I returned, my car was very low on gas. Simon personally filled it up for me while handling other business. It was incredible. As a woman, dealing with the individuals in the auto repair industry sometimes can be a less than pleasant experience. However, I felt totally comfortable with Simon. Now, I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else for body work. I just hope I won't have to, again.

Needed a headlight replacement and reached out to several shops in the area over email. Simon was the only one who got back to me quickly with a reasonable quote and told me to come in the next day. Headlight was fixed within a few minutes by one of the guys at the shop! Simon was super polite and communicative the entire time. Will definitely be back for any car issues in the future.

I wish I had discovered this shop sooner! It's undoubtedly the most honest, trustworthy, and reliable place I've come across. Today, I had my first fantastic experience with them. Simon, the owner, provided a transparent estimate and fair pricing. My car had an issue with the passenger side signal lamp light behind the mirror, and although I had the necessary parts, I wasn't sure how to install them. When I contacted the auto shop I had been going to for years, they quoted an exorbitant price. That's when I turned to Yelp and found this gem of a shop. I reached out to Simon, who promptly gave me a reasonable estimate. I was relieved and decided to give them a shot. The very next day, Simon skillfully fixed my car, replacing both the driver and passenger side signal lamp lights. I couldn't be happier with the service I received, and I'm definitely returning to this shop for any future car repairs. I encourage you to check them out and give them a try!

Simon was a superstar from start to finish. We had an accident from an old lady that drove into our parked car. From the beginning Simon prioritized getting our car fixed as soon as possible. We had some delays from our insurance paying Simon for the work, but as soon as he completed the work he didn’t hold onto it until payment had been settled - making our lives so much easier. There was also an issue with the original quote and damage and Simon was very quick to remedy the issue, I’m sure prioritizing us over other customers to make sure the mistake was remedied. This is the best experience I’ve ever had with any kind of mechanic or repair shop and could not recommend them any more. The quality of the work was incredibly high, but that goes without saying.

Our hood release was broken and other garages couldn't give a quote or said it would be a big job. Simon took the details, gave us a complete quote, and ordered the necessary part. It was done quickly, cost less than we initially expected, and he cleaned up some corrosion to avoid future problems. Will definately be going back!

Simon was great to work with. He was transparent with what work was needed to fix the dent in my car. He also gave out different options from cheaper to more expensive. I never got the vibe that he was trying to sell me unnecessary work. He got my car fixed within the amount of time he said it was going to take. I have no complaints as the service was as smooth as it could have been.

Baylon is the BEST! I moved to SF 3 years ago and got in a rear end collision. It was my first car accident and I didn't know what to do. I found Baylon through the good Yelp review and indeed our experience was 5 stars! Not only he fixed my car perfectly, he also gave us advices for dealing with the collision. I can't thank Baylon enough for the help! Such a kind and genuine person!

I was devastated when my X5 got rear ended but Simon goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. Everything worked out seamlessly. Auto Body Garage worked with the insurance company and coordinated with enterprise for me to get a ride to my rental car, and I was able to leave my rental at the body shop when my car was ready for pick up. Car looks better than it did before the accident! I’m really impressed with the customer service and quality of their work. I hope that I never have to come back...but if my vehicle ever gets damaged again I know where to go.

Been a customer for nearly 20 years where all but one accident were other drivers’ fault. In each of my half dozen accidents Auto Body Garage at 565 Bryant St San Francisco delivers best prices and highest quality in all of Northern California including over priced Central Valley auto body shops. I don’t invite accidents but do look forward to doing business with this shop having excellent relationships with OEM parts suppliers. Like good insurance we all need to know who to count on to make our vehicles whole again after an unfortunate accident.

Can't recommend Auto Body strongly enough. Simon is honest & trustworthy. Took my car in after scraping the side and front. Rather than try to gouge me, he thought he could do a great job just polishing and buffing the scrapes. Most garages would have tried to sell me new panels at a cost of thousands. Instead, Simon worked on it for 15 minutes, car looks great and he didn't charge me. Said it wasn't long enough to charge. He also advised how I should handle the lease pre-inspection. Just a great experience. High character person. Will definitely take my future business here.

I can not recommend this place highly enough!!! Without a doubt, this has been the best experience I've ever had relating to having car work. Starting with my own bad experience of another car crashing into me, I chose Auto Body Garage because of their high reviews. The back of my car was pretty much totaled. I met with Simon, who very clearly explained everything to me regarding, what needed to be done, how long it may take, certain things to anticipate, or issues that he may find in my car due to the way it was hit, getting me set up with a car rental, and dealing entirely with the insurance end of it too. Simon is clear, smart, polite, and went out of his way to be helpful. The final work is flawless, and better than new!! I'm not kidding, I wouldn't go to any one else ever again.

I had a great experience with Auto Body Garage. They offered transparent pricing and exemplary service when I brought in my car for body repairs. Their estimate was very reasonably priced and they presented a range of options for repairs and part replacement, with excellent communication and advice. Beyond that, they did a great job staying in touch and working around my schedule, even staying after closing time so I could pick up my car and throwing in some thoughtful touches like clip replacements and cleaning for free. I’d highly recommend to anyone for car repairs, both for the price and the stress-free experience of working with competent professionals.

My experience with Baylon was very genuine and straight to the point. When you come here expect to be treated fairly without the typical up selling process at any auto facility. Baylon saved me some money and still delivered 5 star quality. My car’s whole driver’s side had been scraped and dented, but looked impeccable as if nothing had happened to it after their work. They went over board by cleaning my car inside and out. The overall experience with Auto Body Garagr was certainly 5 star if not more. Come here if you want to be HELPED. Thank you Baylon

This is a great shop. I worked with Simon who was amazing. There was a dent in the front of my car and he was able to give me a fair assessment. He worked directly with my insurance company with updates throughout the process. He was able to live up to all the expectations he set forth, even surpassing them. I really appreciated the honesty, transparency, and the quality, which is so hard to find! The work was superb. On top if all, very reasonably priced - surprisingly so because it's SF.

The wonderful people at Karry's are great. I went in and they did so much to help me be at ease. Brandi greeted me and then Baylon. They were upfront and communicated everything to me during the whole process. They were able to work with my insurance and were able to get them to pay for additional work that wasn't included in my insurance's estimate and got a supplemental written up for it. They are simply superb. What stick's out in my mind was when a previous customer came back in and asked "If Body Shop A was any good? or were they garbage?" Baylon responded and said, "it wouldn't be fair to say if they are or aren't, I can't speak on what I don't know, what I can speak about is what I do know. I know that WE will do everything to make sure you are taken care of and satisfied." That totally sold me, he had a chance to bolster himself, but didn't. It speaks volumes about the wonderful people here. They were upfront about everything and try hard to do what they can to help. I have no hesitations about coming here again.
