Man I am so grateful I ended up at this shop I had the unfortunate luck and like most wanted too save money so I took my car to a garage shop someone who works from home it was one of the biggest regrets of my life. My car was not working. Oil was spilling all the dashboard lights were on. I was lucky enough to end up at a real honest mechanic shop.and he helped me bring my car back to life I love this shop

I can't say enough about this business. Dan and Mary are truly the best and I've been going to them for years. At this point they've opened new shops and even expanded, but their service has never changed. They will tell you what your car needs, and more important what is DOESN'T need. I remember when I once took my car in for a rattling sound, Dan and his guys took a look, and told me something just needed to be tightened. Didn't charge me a dime. Honest mechanics are worth their weight and gold. I will never switch mechanics as long as they are on business. The work is always great and on time and they look to give a fair price every single time.

If you are looking for a reliable and honest mechanic that will do auto repairs for less then you’ve come to the right spot. The team here does a fantastic job of telling you what’s wrong with your car your options to repair it and will even show you on the car before they do the repairs and explain to you. Excellent communication and quick and easy access to schedule appointments. I’ve been a customer of theirs for almost 10 years at the previous location will continue to make the drive to the new location because of their excellence. Without a doubt the best car repair shop in Chicago!

What a great experience. Not only are they incredibly kind and welcoming, but they're also great when it comes to solving whatever issue you may be having. We went in with a car issue we haven't been able to solve despite having taken it into our dealership 4 previous times and they were able to figure it out in a matter of a few days and gave us the right reccommendations for how to tackle it. This will be my go to shop from now on and I will definitely continue to reccommend it to others. It's rare to find a spot that you can tell truly does care about their customers and here they really do.

Dan and Mary and the rest of the crew are incredible! They always manage to squeeze me in whenever I need. I had been told by other mechanics that certain work needs to get done ASAP, but the crew at AutoRepair4Less gives me the truth (What is necessary and what can wait). I've had a few visitors in town with emergencies and they were able to get them right in and taken care of within 24 hours. Super bummed they moved locations, but I will make the trek to their new location, no questions. I would recommend them 100 times over!

Always a pleasure bringing my car in to be serviced by Dan and the team of mechanics at Auto Repairs 4 Less. Mary is always kind, informative, and with a great sense of humor on the phone when updating me on the status of my vehicle while it’s being serviced. As someone who isn’t that knowledgeable with cars and their maintenance, I’m thankful for their expertise at repairs when something goes wrong. They are my go-to mechanics in Chicago at reasonable prices.

I brought in my vehicle to repair a big, deep scratch on two panels. They gave us a fair estimate and completed the bodywork in the time stated. The car looked excellent! Was very happy with the work and the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with my questions!

I highly recommend Auto Repairs 4 Less--this is the best auto mechanic I have used while living in Chicago over the past 15+ years! I have tried gone to a few mechanics throughout the northside while owning 4 different, very-used, older cars. These guys really do provide reasonably priced car service and I have also been very impressed with their level of work and and customer support. I have taken two different cars here for service over the past 5 years, first at their Lakeview location and then when they moved west to Kedzie. I have had everything from oil changes and tire rotations to catalytic converter replacement, brake jobs, AC system repair, and a last minute emergency tire replacement. The repairs have always been fairly priced, no obvious sales pitches or mark ups, and with very good customer service and workmanship. Check them out for an honest mechanic!

I've been a customer for years. Most recent visit: I bought a hitch mount (for attaching a new SUV bike rack) and asked them to install it, plus an oil change. They did an excellent job as always. Dan and his crew noticed that 2 of my tires were in worse condition than the other 2. They considered my budget and suggested options to ensure the safety of my family. Honest, down-to-earth, great people who aren't trying to rip people off. And they treat my young son like a person--kindly, respectfully. The BEST repair shop in Chicago, HANDS DOWN. (I also appreciate them having space for my son and I to wait, where we can draw, eat our snacks, play our mini magnetic chess set.)
